This is so true, however you can not beat it for what it does. To seal a spark plug in a cast iron head you put a bit of grease or oil on the threads.
The heat will cook the stuff and seal the threads, yea the old gasket or the new taper seal works till the plug comes loose.
I use 2000* Anti Seize a LOT at work, it seals, will not melt out or cook hard.
It is what I used on my AR barrel, now I have only built one AR, but I work with ALU, stainless and steel all the time.
You know how easy it is to gall a thread with stainless? ALU is worse!
It is very easy, you think you are getting the nut tight and it has galled before you know it.
