I third calfkiller. Blackstone is also a favorite of mine. Cool springs brewery has a good one every so often too. I'll even toss in a nod for jackalope. They're making some pretty good beer.

Man, I can relate to this story! Congrats on getting out of a bad situation. Myself and three others had been eager to get out of our workplace due to some terrible management decisions as well as a just plain awful manager. Well this past Friday we finally got all of our ducks in a row and all at the same time walked into the managers office and laid down our resignation letters. The manager got pissed at us, told us our two weeks weren't needed, and we could hit the door and don't look back. He shot himself in the foot as three of us were department leads and knowing what we had planned, had no one cross trained for our positions. Some of the machinery there is no one still employed that can even turn it on without the manufacturer coming in to train.

Yeah I agree, I put him back outside though. Didn't feel like he needed to be in the kitchen...

No intention to derail this thread, but found this in the house a couple days ago...

I'm just 29 and lost my crkt I got back in 2001...That's my first to lose. I've misplaced my new daily carry twice now, but found it both times. Days later though.

I prefer publix anyway.

Not a stihl, but I've got a John Deere string trimmer with the same problem. My father got it as a gift back in the mid 80's. I had just been born...he managed to seize it up once due to forgetting to premix. Let it set overnight with oil in the top end. He finally decided to pass it on to me, that was 6 years ago and the sucker stills runs like a top.

This is an interesting thread. I've got my road rage stories too and agree that many drivers are truly unaware behind the wheel. I find it interesting, however, in this whole thread there's not been a bad driver. And when speaking to others at work or in public, etc. I've never met a self proclaimed bad driver. I say this humorously, but since we all talk about bad drivers and have never met all these bad drivers we talk about, where do the bad drivers live and work that they are never in public? :) Also, pertaining to the tailgating, I do my best to keep a decent distance between myself and the car ahead of me, it seems like an invitation for everyone to cut in front me though. It's almost defensive driving to tailgate just to avoid people cutting me off at times. I ride a motorcycle too it's truly amazing the things I see on it. Just my .02

Can anyone refer me to an HONEST mechanic near me in Donelson

I've used Coopers automotive a couple times. On Lebanon road just past the firestone on the right. I really like his machinery, how clean his shop is, and his work. I do feel like his prices are a bit high though. May consider getting a quote from him. -
Wait a year for OLED. Prices should start to come down by then.

Travelling to D. C. , need some advice

I'm not sure about the pepper spray thing... My girlfriend at the time and I went to the Smithsonian and she had inadvertently left her pepper spray in her purse. We traveled all over DC with it, the metro etc. Anyway, it's when we tried to go in one of the museums and one of the guards said it couldn't go inside. No problem, we didn't go to the museums, but that was the extent of the experience. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2 -
It's downtown at public square. Tickets are $35 online, $45 at the festival. Albeit a bit chilly, it looks like a good day to drink some craft beer! If you're gonna make it down, shoot me a PM on here and we'll try to meet up while there. http://www.nashvillebeerfestival.com/

Any of you going to be at the beer fest tomorrow in Nashville? I understand Yazoo is also having some type of event too. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

I'll play. I've become something of a snob too I guess. Blackstones nut brown ale is a favorite. Calfkiller out of Sparta makes some great IPA's. Jackalope on 8th near Division is also quite tasty. Out of North Carolina, I really like Mother Earth oatmeal stout. Plenty of other craft and micros I enjoy too. Yuengling is my preferred choice if I gotta drink those kind of beers. Stella is also good. Oh and for the Sam Adams fans, try the Latitude 48 Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2

Neither road is hard to ride. I have a sportbike and make it to east TN a couple times a year. I have no problem riding the dragon as hard or fast as I want, just not on Sat afternoon when the tourists are there. The skyway is a great road, its capable of triple digit speeds and it is also patrolled, ask me how I know... There are lots of better roads that aren't nearly as heavily enforced as those two. This is me. Draw from left side, trigger pull with left hand, right eye dominant. Long guns I shoot right handed.

Seems interesting, is it PC only...I'd prefer it to be on PS3. Sent from HTC Incredible

Thanks all. I'm from the Dayton area. I still consider myself quite new to Nashville, but it's hard to believe I've actually been here two years already. It's amazing how time flies when you're in a place you like! Funny you say that, while not a funny car I actually picked up this handle many years ago from a speedboat on Lake Cumberland. Speed is in my blood so the handle has always fit me well.

Nothing fancy for me. I've got an old CRKT that I've carried for years. Sent from HTC Incredible

I'm Dustin, I live near-ish to downtown Nashville. I'm a passionate motorcyclist first, an avid outdoorsman second, and a responsible gun owner first Actually I've got tons of interests, just not enough funds to partake. I've currently got a couple .22's and a SW99 that is my everyday carry. Being where I live, ranges aren't overly close so I do most of my shooting at a co workers house. I'm hoping to buy a house soon that has a backyard that I could use as a shooting area. I found and joined this forum because I've been looking to buy some new toys and what better place. This forum seemed to be the most active of the TN gun forums.

My father had that happen a few months ago in his 44. As another poster said earlier, he noticed the bang but no hole on the target. Ended up having to take to a gunsmith to get the bullet dislodged. Sent from HTC Incredible
