On a small single car garage I think it would be simple to fashion a wall from a sheet of osb and sit the garage door on top of it with the ac unit slid into the OSB. It'd be a bit bulky to store, but would be inexpensive and simple to build.

It was a little soggy in downtown Nashville. The fireworks were good definitely a long show. It was too bad the wind wasn't blowing more to move the smoke! I didn't see any altercations. Stayed in prepared mode and always watching the crowd though. Happy fourth, hope everyone else stayed safe...and maybe a bit drier than us.

I have one of these, only with a chalk board instead of a picture hung in my living room. Uses a magnetic type lock release. It's ingenious and you'd never know it had multiple pistols inside... http://tacticalwalls.com/shop/1420m-bundle/

I've had a jawbone for about a year now. Girlfriend has had the jawbone and now the fitbit. We both like them quite a bit. I had such high hopes for the garmin, but overall it hasn't held up to the expectations of the name from many reviews I've read. Fitbit seems to be the best all around. I've about worn my jawbone out so I'll be moving to the fitbit one shortly.

I've always liked fireball. My favorite Cinnamon whisky is called Cinerator. It stays true to a decent whisky and adds a hint of cinnamon. Very good stuff!

While you're waiting at the american pickers store...or if you get bored and decide not to go...its really not that great...as mentioned above, garage coffee. But if you like liquor at all stop in at corsair on the end of the building. Awesome awesome spiced rum and absinthe.
-
I have to disagree...now. I use to despise it. A local distillery to ky and Nashville has changed my opinion. Try the Corsair absinthe if you ever get an opportunity. Now their pumpkin moonshine...worst ever. Corsair is an awesome little distillery.

Don't want to hijack too much, but I'd like to know where one property line is. I'm in joelton so for the Nashville folk if you're interested... I don't need official or legal just keeping neighbors happy.

I've tried the hot chicken a time or two. Even went to the hot chicken festival before in east Nashville. I like hot food, to a point. I generally order the mild at any of the hot chicken places, stuff is potent. -
I can certainly agree with Baja burrito. I've not been there in awhile, but those are some good burritos. The margaritas are quite tasty too. I always seem to end up at drifters when I'm over there, and pied piper for dessert.

There should still be one in east Nashville too. I just think their food is average though.

I use SunTrust for the same reason as above. I got my mortgage through them as well. Their rates were competitive with many other banks and credit unions, both regionally and nationally. I've been very happy with them.

And Krambones as a reward on the TN side!

For all the motorcyclists, check out the nashvilleriders.com forum. Membership is slowly growing, but it's not a very active forum yet. As for the OP, it's something I might be interested in, I ride a 2011 Ninja1000

I've got a similar model, anything longer than a 15yd distance and you'll want to invest in the slightly more common gas assisted blower models. The tactical shovel quickly becomes more work than play at extended ranges. The price is fair for short range sidewalk type accuracy though.

I was camping in the tetons, near Jackson hole back in 2001 I believe. Near a boy scout camp, one of the boys wandered away from camp and got lost. We were in the vicinity and saw helicopters buzzing over, turns out Harrison Ford was in his private helicopter flying over head and found the boy. Was kinda neat.

I got out of TN for the weekend to get some relief. This one was yesterday in St. Petersburg, FL. One of my favorite restaurants down there. It was 77. Was hard to get on that plane this morning, but the TN winter is almost over! Got home and shoveled away the slush on the driveway that I left laying last Friday and just relaxing before I go to work for a few days. Next trip in just a few days...a bit cooler, gonna go check out Niagara falls!

Ice still on Clarksville Pike in joelton. About .250" on the windshield

That says it best. I embrace change, even motivate change in some instances. There is almost always a better more efficient way to do something. New technology, it's always going to have bugs, but usually they get worked out for the better. A big one for me is new management in a job, it's good to switch that up because it's too easy to get stuck in the if it ain't broke don't fix it camp. That's sometimes true, but with work, processes can always be improved upon. I get so frustrated with management that has the "I'm the boss, I'm always right" attitude. Companies have no use for that type of personality. Our government...if you don't like change, then we may as well keep what we have...sometimes change is bad, but that's the great thing about change, we can do it again and fix the mistake.

I've not had cable to speak of since 2007. I got it back for a couple months through a promotional deal in 2014, but dropped it soon as the promotion ended. I pay $29.99 for internet with Comcast, plus Netflix and Amazon prime. Like others I have all the local channels free over the air in true HD.

Not sure how willing you are to try it yourself...but drywall isn't so bad. I had never done it, but unwilling to pay the labor of someone else, I did it myself. It actually wasn't too hard and ended up looking pretty good.

I will agree that east coast and west coast beers are different. Sierra Nevada and lagunitas are some of my favorites, but to go so far as to say the beers here aren't very good is a stretch. There really are some exceptional beers in this part of the country. I'm not sure where you're gonna find a selection of german beers, but flying saucer may have something that would interest you.
