  1. Man, that sucked for S.H. and Ms. Columbia really had no idea what was going on, she doesn't know English. Really unfortunate, Steve was professional in accepting and taking responsibility for his screw up. What a walk of shame though. Ms. Philippines was my pick, she had the best answers and other attributes...
  2. They always seemed to come by where I used to live about the time my promotional internet deal was ending. Whether it be Comcast or u verse. So I usually let them in and told them if they could match or beat my current promotion they could have my business. It worked in my favor every time, and I never had to leave the house. The Jehovah's witness and window, door, etc...just a simple not interested and close the door worked fine.
  3. I've got a crossbreed for my larger sw99 and an Alien gear for my smaller shield. The gun has some to do with it, but I like the aliengear more, it seems much more comfortable. I have the 3.0. There should be no worry of the steel rusting, if I recall it's stainless spring steel. The hybrid material is much more comfortable against my body is than the leather is. You can't go wrong with either, but I currently favor the alien gear.
  4. On the bright side, the Titans didn't lose this weekend...
  5. Mmm...terminal, I have forgotten about that place. Need to get back down there again.
  6. This was my exact thought as I was reading the OP. It can get scary out there while on the bike.
  7. I have Allstate, but haven't needed to file any claims.
  8. I, too, just got an Alien gear OWB and IWB 3.0 The IWB is by far the most comfortable I've worn. And I'm quite pleased with the OWB as well.
  9. I got that a couple years ago. Tossed them all out. Never did fill any of it out
  10. Check out Solar bat as well. I'm not sure about what they have for ballistic, but I know they do offer some. I bought a standard pair of sunglasses some years ago and have been really happy with them and their warranty. I bought mine at bass pro.
  11. Man, that brings back memories. We had a 42' Sundancer and have had to plow a few times to send that message. We had friends with a 360 Regal, and another with a 370 Sundancer. Our boat moved enough water that we had to come off plane close to a mile from dock just so the entire marina didn't get steamrolled. We got out of boating in 2008, I guess it was. We were on lake Cumberland and it was big enough to handle a lot of boats, but there were always some really inconsiderate boaters in run abouts. They were the exception though.
  12. I tolerate IWB, but don't totally like it. I carry a full size Smith and Wesson in .40 with a crossbreed holster. I also carry a shield with IWB and its much more tolerable, but again I tolerate it. It's worth mentioning the full size I always disarm when driving, the shield I don't need to. I guess that probably doesn't help much.
  13. If I'm going out for movies we take the car and sit at the drive in's across the area. It's cheap, still get to see the new releases, have your own car and can carry in your own food. Gun is no problem to carry in. The only person you interrupt for having to pee is the people in the car with you
  14. This is a fairly gross thought, but it is also a fairly decent supply of water...It's just my girlfriend and I so the vast majority of what goes down the drains is water. I have a septic tank. With the proper filtration, there are a couple hundred gallons of water being held in there... I'm not terribly well prepared, but I'd make do for a couple weeks. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  15. Estonia. Highest ratio of women to men... If I can't live in America, I may as well be happy without my rights. On the bright side, self defense is a valid reason to own a gun there.
  16. That's interesting. What was the period of time it took to adjust? And as to this thread, I'd have to find a new reason to suck if I fixed that...
  17. Cause I'm left handed, right eye dominant.
  18. You know, that's something I've been going over in my head for the past few days and every time this thread comes back to the top. Instinctively, I'm going for my gun if someone snatches at it. I may be as quick to stop myself knowing that it is an officer. The result of the officers less than good decision making could have just as easily led to another police shooting for absolutely no good reason what-so-ever. I stand firmly that while the law may protect the officers actions, it was the wrong approach to the stop and I would have done my best to continue through the stop with civility and filed my complaint after.
  19. Nothing about that was cool. I may not be an officer, but nothing about that video shows me that the rider was a threat of any sort. As a rider, I keep my gun in my jacket pocket rather than on my waist belt so for me he would have never seen my gun. However, if that was me I would have been filing a complaint. I would also like to see where the plate was...I think that was a likely excuse because he saw a gun.
  20. Never had any interruptions or outages with my phone. Been just like any other day. I have Verizon.
  21. Makes for a good daily drinking game.
