His foreign policy might be a bit easier to grasp.

You've got that exactly right.

My mom is a breast cancer survivor. My grandfather died of it (quickly, thank God) at 92 a couple years ago. My manager died of cancer at 36 years old in May. Right now, my FIL is dealing with going downhill with Mesothelioma. Cancer is a M F.

Yeah, me too. Terrible situation. Glad you found what you needed though.. my dad lives in Weirton. May not be long for him either.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with it- It really seems like it would be a break-even (or less) with the price of x39 to load for it, with the price of Russian steel case being what it is. Gotta get the brass too, or at least brass-cased ammo to begin with..... Thoughts?

Have we all really lost our mind? "Elementary school outlaws playing tag"

Maybe you need to inform the parents of the kids who committ suicide over incessant bullying of your revelation. -
O my God, all the things I should not mention. . .. AKA, major learning experiences.... Sometimes, ya gotta narrowly escape to figure it out.

Exactly. "Republicans just want 100 percent of what they want!" Will you try to reach a compromise with them on any part of this matter? "No, we absolutely will not compromise or negotiate anything". Sadly, I doubt most people see these kinds of things.

Yep, I've been looking at the PAPs a bit lately- the Zastava name seems to carry some respect (in terms of build quality), especially if a guy isn't going to put down $1000+ on a rifle. In doing a bit of research on these, I've found a lot of horror stories about how the importers hack up magwells, etc, and I guess thats what my question was originally about. Thanks guys!

Ted Cruz just ran out the clock!!!
superduty replied to Luke E.'s topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well, the ACA is very close to that. Socialized medicine. It's not what it's cracked up to be. The .gov does so well with Medicare and Medicaid, what can go wrong? BTW, they just cut funds for fraud analytics in their programs, it was announced today. If you are surprised or interested, PM me and I'll send you a link. BTW, do you know what the ACA will add to the deficit? Mind numbingly stupid- "'Fundamentally transform America". We are well on our way, my friends. -

Yes, well, I suppose "you've got to pass it before you see it' will live in the annals of political stupidity forever. That said, I don't see anything wrong with a Repub/Tea Party Member playing a little 'Snooker' with the system...........whether it be for the cause of 'general goodness' for the American People, or his own ambitions. It's well on record now, if it wasn't before, where he, and others, stand. If ACA fails miserably, which I anticipate, (I'm in the health care business) then it's a very classic 'You made your cake, now you eat it' scenario. I think that's what mainstream Repubs are missing- they don't see the point of spending the time against it, because, as McCain said today, he doesn't like it, but they don't have the votes to do anything. I say, screw the votes. Let it come down. It's gonna hurt a lot of people, which I don't like, but it will be duly noted who caused the mess. As I mentioned, this is on the Dem's 'rap sheet' next year. And in 2016. -

This. He knows he can't stop it with the votes needed. He's raising awareness, and making sure everyone knows about it. The Dems stand a high potential of carrying ACA on their backs in the midterms next year, and Cruz, Paul, Lee, etc. know that too. The abject failure of Obamacare will be evident in due time. -
Saw them last time I was in there.

I'm trying to educate myself on the AK platform, and have a question regarding the new AK's that are being sold these days. Whether the maker is Arsenal/Saiga/WASR/Zasava, or any of the others, do these rifles get imported from the manufacturer as a complete rifle, and then either sold outright or modified for domestic sale by the importer (Arsenal, Century, or whoever), or, are these rifles imported as parts from whatever manufacturer, and then assembled by the importer in question? Or maybe neither of the above? Thanks!

Letter to the American people from Vladimir Putin
superduty replied to Raoul's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Obama's lack of foreign policy experience and dealing with a hard-ass adversary that isn't going to fold as soon as he starts speaking is evident. Putin is no friend of ours. He has found a weakness in the US. .the 'leader'! And he's a more worldly and shrewd player in international politics than Obama is. He's got Obama by the nuts, and he's going to play him as long as he can, like a cat plays with an injured mouse. -
I was in Lawrenceburg this weekend at David Crockett State Park, and they were everywhere.

Detailed Testing, Steel vs. Brass cased Ammo
superduty replied to mikegideon's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I don't know definitively, but I have read 30-50 thousand rounds. I would imagine it has to with maintenance/upkeep, but thats what I've read. -
I know that Obama signed an executive order to have the CDC investigate this, but I cant tell if this is a new report- I'm on my phone. If this is a post-Newtown report, I'd be a little surprised- I understand that the CDC is a historically left-leaning organization.

It has not been that long. I was buying reg. Unleaded in Nashville in 2000 for 99.9c/gal.

I camp all the time at TN parks. FCF, Cedars, Henry Horton. Like them all, not a fan of Montgomery Bell, though. Good times in the travel trailer. Something to do with the fam other thsn TV.
