  1. Big fan of Leroy Farris - I've taken several personal courses from him with pistol, shotgun and carbine. He's a great instructor!
  2. Humbly…I believe the pocket hammer is the prettiest pistol ever produced and brilliant engineering for the time. I have five of them and one is a shooter! One is museum grade with a letter and another may be as well…or it’s the single best refinishing job I’ve ever seen.
  3. Pretty sure there was some artistic license on this one!
  4. Price Drop...no tax..no shipping...no transfer fee..$3,200 for the gun, $250 for the barrel, $100 in gunsmithing, $100 for the holster, $50 for the extra mags with base-plates...$3,700 all in.
  5. Good Day folks! This is a fun one and unique! This is a Colt Hartford which was manufactured in the Colt plant and shipped to Argentina. Colt produced 10,000 units between 1927 and 1928. It’s pretty rare to find a numbers matching example and this is one of the first 2,220 to come from Colt. This is not a Sistema nor was it made in South America with Colt tooling and production equipment. I’ve included as many pictures as possible and the slide, frame and barrel match. The import mark is located behind the magazine release. This one has been Arsenal refinished and it was common to replace some of the smaller parts as they were worn. The gun is in really nice condition and it would make a great addition to any collection considering the low serial number and scarcity. For the true aficionado, we can discuss looking under the sear spring but my current gun smithing skills aren’t up for it!;-) If I had to guess, I’d say the frame and lower are original and matching…the grips were most likely replaced at the arsenal. I don’t know if the barrel is original but it is numbers matching. It has some signs of patina and they parkerized over it but it has been kept in great condition overall. I’ve searched gunbroker and the auctions and can’t find a good read on the current value and insanely low serial number. What’s clear is that it was manufactured in 1927 in the Colt plant in Hartford, CT and the frame and slide match. If you love collecting Colts, you are more than welcome to come check it out at my office in Cool Springs. To be perfectly honest, I have no clue what the current value is….it’s worth $2,000 to me but I’m open to offers. It’s a gorgeous piece of history for sure!
  6. Gorgeous and very tempting...GLWS.
  7. Gents - I’ve responded to both of you - apologies for the delay or any frustration. As I mentioned in my personal notes to each of you…have several obligations that take priority and I don’t get notifications from the site. If it wasn’t for a friend sending me a text this morning, I wouldn’t have known you were upset or feeling put off…that’s not my intention so I hope you can accept my very public and humble apology.;-)
  8. Just bought one for my dedicated AR22 - will let you know. I’d go with the LAW for my two main guns.
  9. Garret Holsters are my all time favorite - kydex with leather lining…should be able to accommodate the light.
  10. $2K for a US property stamped 1911 is a deal - it’s a Frankenstein but a fine historical example!
  11. $2,000.00 apologies for the confusion - will add more pics this evening.
  12. Colt Hamerless - Museum condition and restored to perfection! $2,500.00
  13. $3,500-->$3,200 and open to any high end traded or NV optics! Less than 200 rounds, threaded Ed Brown Barrel! Gorgeous grips and can’t find a scratch - Minty!! Comes with three mags and a Garett holster…the holster in the picture is for my Glock because I have to dig out the matching one but I have it!;-) I’m raising funds for another TGO purchase!
  14. I’ve got a bunch of .22LR suppressor ready - what ya looking for? I’ve got a ruger with a pacsol upper, red dot and 8+ mags…PPK/S threaded with carbon fiber grips, M&P that shoots like a dream and several more.
  15. Ed Brown custom Cobra with threaded barrel and five mags pique your interest? (Less than 200 rounds through it and have a gorgeous kydex leather lined holster for it…I’ve got almost $4K in the setup and it’s in flawless condition) I’ve also got several Colt 1902/3 pocket hammers, a hammerless restored in bright nickel that’s museum grade, .22 threaded suppressor hosts galore and a bunch of ammo options)
