1. Honestly, and not to disagree with what's been posted, but heavier buffers, new springs, and the like....are bandaids. Fix the actual problem, which is likely too much gas. An adjustable gas block is the best way to do it. I'm not saying that a heavier buffer won't change your ejection pattern a smidge, but in the medical field we would say that you're "treating the symptoms, not the disease"
2. My new favorite is cheap cans of dollar store spray paint. Shot at from at least 50 yards, with a centerfire rifle. I haven't found anyone man, woman, or child, that didn't giggle when the can flies around like a rocket after hit
3. He kiss Obama with that mouth?
4.
thanks for the feed back. What about the trigger group? I heard some of the guys here saying that the PTAC group sucks and the regular PSA is pretty darn good.
In my experience, the PSA is about as good as you'll get for a stock GI trigger, I don't have experience with the PTAC though
5. I should have added, I actually have an Anderson lower. I see no difference in it and the more expensive forged lowers I have

Well gents, I hate to be the one posting these, but they pop up on my Facebook feed, and I hope to keep some of you away from this thing. I honestly thought "well maybe it's starting to break in some" toward the middle of this video. If you have the time, watch the whole thing and see I was wrong. Not the best video, but hey http://youtu.be/yicodN7BrgU
7. I'm just kidding you, but seriously don't waste your money. A smashed foam plug in the rear or a o-ring around the front lug usually does well
8. If you actually "buy" something to fix your problem, I'm going to personally come kick you in the shin. Place a foam ear plug under the rear takedown lug if it bothers you But, right now all you have is something you heard, they could fit together nicely when you actually try them. Probably 95% of all AR's have a small amount of play. It doesn't hurt accuracy, nor anything else for that matter
9.
riiiiiiiiiiight... The .gov is great about respecting the law and boundaries.
Exactly
10.
Something I've wondered and never asked.... Does the $200 tax stamp give the BATF permission to come inspect anytime they desire?
Yes, but supposedly only for that firearm
11.
I have seen an explosion of these things lately. I see no legitimate use for them. I'm not promoting the banning of them or anything like that. I expect this thread will ruffle a few feathers, but I'm hoping someone can enlighten me as to why they are desirable.
Does your carry weapon have near rifle range with accuracy? Just asking Besides anything you call "legitimate", they're a ton of fun. I have a lot of weapons that have the sole purpose of being fun. If you don't, you ought to live a little
12. Don't send a shotgun to do a rifles job? That's one tough little toy
13.
I stand corrected. I was under the impression that all wolf was Russian. My bad. Please don't throw any rotten eggs. :D
No worries, I've been wrong once before too ;) It's really nice stuff, sealed primers and sealed bullets. I like
14.
Do you have a revolver like a Smith & Wesson L, K, or N frame in 4 or 6”? They will give you a good idea of just how good you are. Sights are critical on a target gun; not even needed on a self-defense gun. There are not yet (or at least I have not seen) any good adjustable target sights for Glock or M&P’s. Because these are not target guns. I suspect there will be for the M&P in the near future; we can hope. Hitting a 12” target offhand without the use of a rest is good for any Tupperware gun. However, stories run wild. Bob Munden shot a 6” balloon three times in a row with a S&W Model 60 J-frame at 200 yards. Gives us all something to strive for.
Afraid the only revolver I have is an LCR. My 19 is my primary carry weapon so I won't go messing with sights on it unless maybe I do some night sights. I was just curious I guess, but I would like to see what I could do with maybe a 6" barrel, single stage trigger. I might try again next time out, it brings another dimension of fun to pistol day, I've never tried anything past 25 yards before that
15. I'll just add this in here since we've already made mention of Hickock and shooting Glocks at distance. Yesterday I had pistol day at our range. Toward the end of the day I decided I was going to try to make some shots at 50 yards with my 19. I was really surprised to be honest, I could hit a 12" target 40% of the time. Nothing to brag about at all, but I was surprised. I think I was maxing out my ability though. Maybe with some target sights I could do a little better, I was using the stock combat sights. It was definitely challenging, and something I'd like to try more often
16.
Wolf = Russian. No thanks, they can kiss my tail.
Wolf gold is not made in Russia
17. It's great, period. If you buy it and don't like it, send it to me and I'll gladly dispose of it
18. Come on man! I have to throw the Columbia/Spring Hill area suggestion into the ring if you're ok being around an hour from Nashville. Plenty of land to be had, at better prices than the Nashville area
19.
Many people are undeserving of prayers, but Christians are specifically directed to love their enemies. This is NOT the love that society has defined as an emotion, but rather showing kindness. I pray for lots of people for various reasons, and lots of them are not loved by me.
Perfect example, I pray for our "president" daily.
20. This is the first AR I've scoped, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well this mount is made. Its a pain to mount at first simply because it's two halves, but I like it, really solid. Midway's house brand, AR stoner. Mounted on the gun on the right http://www.midwayusa.com/product/2228288312/ar-stoner-1-piece-extended-scope-mount-picatinny-style-with-integral-rings-flat-top-ar-15-matte
21. I don't know that I'd want you having my Glock case either. Did you see where the 19 went through the house fire and came out just fine because it was in the case?
22.
For what it's worth, I bought Glocks from dealers that were LE trade ins. They came as pistols with one mag in a padded envelope. There were tons of police trades that didn't have boxes with them. People move. People put stuff in the attic. Trade based on the character of the man you're dealing with, not his lack of factory boxes.
This. The fact that he doesn't have the box and or other magazine means little to squat
23. If I'm not mistaken your friend works with my wife at the hospital. I've been watching the for sale boards on Facebook and I let a couple of the gun shops know around here in case it comes in there. Likely not, but you never know
24. That's just cool. I think I might work on this later. If I have to come sleep on one of your couches, it's because I used it in the direction of my wife's tail end
25.
Video talking about it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqjYEFIwUT8
I like that guy. First time I've seen him though
