"Were there a shooting at our local school, I cannot fathom tearing the entire building down. It just doesn't make sense" When the Government has something to hide they will not hold back anything to cover it up.

I think it is a know fact that if the Feds need to get your mind off of an issue, create a new one............jmhp

Did a little digging and yes Bush did have 13 what was considered mass shooting on his 8 year watch. They listed several of them as mass shootings with only one or two victims in Bush's watch. To date including yesterday on Mr. Obama's watch there has been 24 mass shootings. Does anyone have any actual reasoning for this large jump in numbers between the watches of two different Presidents? Just curious!!!

I wonder what would have really happened if those two Armed Vets would have made it to where all this was taking place rather than being herded into a classroom. I don't think if it were me I would have allowed the teacher to herd me into a room. I would have pulled my weapon and continued on to try and end what was going on. The last thing a shooter would be expecting in a GUN FREE ZONE is a trained guy with a gun. They said the school had one UNARMED Security Guard. I wonder what closet they found him in? i have said it a couple times in the past and I will say it again. Just one or two times is all it would take for an active shooter to enter a GUN FREE ZONE with plans of killing people only to find a couple Sheep Dogs popping caps in their a$$ taking them out and ending their Rampage as fast as it began. If there are fewer soft targets for these crazies to choose from there will be less of them taking place...............jmho

They have the shooter of the theater in Colorado and they have the shooter from SC church and I think a couple more and they have not learned a lot from any of them as to their motives. The court and Jury decided the Theater shooter who tried to claim insanity was just a liar and found him Sane and Guilty. So what did the country learn from him other than the fact he is just plain evil and a liar. I think that would fall in the realm of most anyone that will do such things most of these people have done..........jmho

I wish Mr. Brainard would have had a carry permit. It would have turned out much different I believe...........jmhp

I had one similar to it a few years back but it was a magazine feed and didn't have a scope. I sold it because I was wanting a tube feed so it would hold more rounds and the scope was a bonus on this one. I didn't have a squirrel gun and my 10 year old grandson has ask me several times to go squirrel hunting with him and I agreed to go so had to get a good squirrel gun. I told him once the leaves have fallen we would go. He keeps fussing every day when he wakes up and looks at the woods and the leaves are still hanging.......... My son bought about 25 acres of land in Kingston Springs a few years ago and has lots of timber and squirrels and even some deer on it My 10 year old grandson took a 14 point last year right behind the house about 250 yards.

I cannot understand something. Didn't we learn anything when we took out the main man with the most power in the region when our stupid Government took out Saddem Hussein. He was the complete law and order in that entire Stone age section of the world. Assad is no different than Hussein was. Just another radical leader of a stone age country. At the present time since we made the stupid move to remove Hussein I think Assad is the only leader still in power or close to being in power over there. All the rest have been taken over by radicals worse than Assad. As far as Russia making their bombing runs and taking out the targets they chose. It does send a clear message to Obama telling him to go play golf or Pound Sand. As far as I'm concerned we just need to pack up our military and our equipment and come home and let Russia have Syria and then let Russia deal with ISIS because I don't think ISIS has any plans for backing away from any military including Russia's. Hell, back in the 70's when Russia was still a super power they lost 14,000 troops fighting over a stone age big rock called Afghanistan and got their butts whipped. (With our help of course) I say just bring our troops home before Obama does something totally stupid..........jmho

An old Army Aviator was involved in a pretty bad crash landing. He was taken to the post hospital. Late in the night, he finally regained consciousness. He realized he was in the hospital, agonizing in pain. He found himself in the ICU with tubes in his mouth, needles and IV drips in both arms, a breathing mask, wires monitoring every function, and a gorgeous nurse hovering over him. He realized that he was obviously in a life-threatening situation. The nurse gave him a serious, deep look, straight into his eyes, then spoke to him slowly and clearly, enunciating each word and syllable, "You may not feel anything from the waist down." Somehow he managed to mumble in reply, "Can I feel your boobs, then?" AND THAT, MY FRIENDS, IS A POSITIVE ATTITUDE!

A guy goes into the Canada Post Office to apply for a job. The interviewer asks him, "Are you allergic to anything?" He replies, "Yes, caffeine. I can't drink coffee." "Ok. Have you ever been in the military service?" "Yes," he says. "I was in Afghanistan for one tour." The interviewer says, "That will give you five extra points toward employment." Then he asks, "Are you disabled in any way?" The guy says, "Yes. A bomb exploded near me and I lost both my testicles." The interviewer grimaces and then says, "Disabled in your country's service. Well, that qualifies for extra bonus points. Okay. Looking at the regulations you have got enough points for me to hire you right now. Our normal hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.You can start tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., and plan on starting at 10:00 a.m. every day." The guy is puzzled and asks, "If the work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. , why don't you want me here until 10:00 a.m.?" "This is a government job," the interviewer says. "For the first two hours, we just stand around drinking coffee and scratching our balls. No point in you coming in for that."

About the only problem I have with photo bucket is that i works pretty much like any other web site of that nature. It makes sure that all of the paid advertising gets put up first and foremost before you can do what you want to do. No different than Google or Yahoo or any others............jmho

Waffle House refuses service to Uniformed, armed soldier

I think the entire story is all screwed up. Not much of it makes any sense and along with Waffle House food it's all kind of slippery and slimy...........jmho -

M10-Mac 10. Owners/Shooters Enter
bersaguy replied to WarPig's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
I think when he got it the gun was semi auto but he had a little work done to it right after getting it and I remember him telling me that once the work was done with a 30 round magazine the last round would be leaving the barrel before the first empty casing hit the ground and he was right so it was full auto. I am guessing since it emptied the first magazine on one trigger pull of about 3.5 seconds. That was when I knew someone else needed to own the gun besides me.......................... :hiding: -

Back about 8 years ago when my oldest brother passed away he left orders for his wife to bring me a lock box he had and not to open it up. Just bring it to me. He had sent me a key for the box several years earlier and told me to just make sure I put it in a safe place. When I got it I opened it up. In the box was an M 11- A1 380 cal Open bolt and all accessories made by RPB Industries that went with it He had purchased in 1979. It including a few Items I didn't at the time feel safe having in my house. It had ten 30 round magazines. A buddy of mine and I took it to the range with 100 rounds of ammo. It ate ammo faster than kid on Halloween having a sugar rush. 100 rounds lasted almost 2 minutes. Hide sight is always 20/20 and I contacted a friend of mine with an FFL !!! license and told him I wanted to sell it. He made me a very very generous offer and after doing some research and price checking I found out he was offering me full retail for it so I sold it to him. I felt much better not having it in my home but now in some ways I wish I had not sold it........... -
I think the card is a very effective tool for sure and I would advise folks that have HCP's to get some and when they find one of their favorite places to eat or shop newly posted they need to give one to the manager/owner to make your feelings know. The more cards he/she gets the better our ideals will be expressed. That is why I printed off about 50 letters with my contact information on them, hand signed and I even put them in envelopes and always have a few with me when I go out. I just think we need to get our messages out just as much or more than the left does. We do have one major thing in our favor. Our money!!!! When the left is able to talk a business owner into putting up signs they are costing the business money. When they don't put the signs up or they remove them the business is making money. Simple as that!!.....................jmho

Feed the birds!!!!! Gosh that is the story of my life....... I feed birds and Squirrels year around. I feed Hummingbirds all Summer and i have 10 HB feeders up. I had birds up till about 5 days ago and all at once they are gone again for another year. I will leave the feeders up for any late migrating birds for about 2 more weeks and then will switch over to the seed feeders for my winter time birds. I will put up about 15 extra long tube feeders up for the birds and 6 box feeders for the Squirrels. I have already bought 100 lbs of bird seed and 100 pounds of wild critter mix. Later on when the acorns fall I have a place I can go with my shop vac and pick up about 100 lbs of acorns to mix into the critter mix. That should get me into mid February depending on how hard the Winter is. Except for my Kasey girl, wild critters are my biggest enjoyment. They are a pleasure and so relaxing to just sit and watch.............

I think a lot of people buy them just as a status symbol and not for the real reason for which they were made. I have a guy across the street from my place that has a black Hummer. I am thinking that what he paid for the tires and wheels he had put on it could pay for a great college education in many colleges. I have never seen it dirty or driven in the rain..................

Sure glad I don't need a new truck. They cost more now days than I paid for any one of my first 3 houses and I had some pretty nice houses...............

I cannot debate this because all I can speak of is my experiences with Autistic Children and young men and young ladies I have been acquainted with over my life. They may very well react in a manner I am not accustom to seeing for sure. I was just speaking from my past experiences........
