  Well what most people don't know is that J.Percy Priest Lake was actually designated when built to be a lake designed for two things. Electro-power and recreation and was not designated as a fishing lake, That is why most recreational crafts go there plus it is closest lake to Nashville making it convenient for most Nashvillians.   

I have made it a practice of waving to an officer in a squad car as he or she passes me from other direction. You would be surprised at how many wave back. I also make it a point to speak to them in a market if I am in there when they happen to be. I will always say hi or having a quiet day or anything nice and I always get a reply back.................... :up:

Don't forget to mark your calendars.   As you may already know, it is a sin for a Muslim male to see  any naked woman, other than his wife, and if he does, he must commit suicide.   So next Saturday at 1 P.M. Back years ago when I first began bass fishing and fishing tournaments all the anglers respected other boats regardless of type or style. As the years went by it was the Jet Skies that began starting the trouble. They would buzz a bass boat fishing several times until they made the anglers mad. Back years ago bass boats we not fast enough to catch them but that has all changed today. My Skeeter would run faster than most Wave Runners and so did many other bass boats so after they got chased a few times and realized they could not out run us anymore they stopped buzzing bass anglers pretty much. Ski boats pulling wake boards and skies are the real pain in the ass on most lakes now. They have boom boxes you can hear for two miles and make wakes from hell. I was glad when TWRA began cracking down on the boom boxes and were ticketing them  for disturbing the peace. Made them either turn them down or off. If they got caught twice in a month TWRA took the sound system off the boat. They ended up taking on guys whole boat because after they took his sound system he went and purchased an even louder one and was out there on a week day thinking TWRA would not be out there. A homeowner with a lake house called and reported a boat with a very loud sound system was running back and forth passed them home so TWRA sent out a team of wardens to check it out and it was same guy so they confiscated his boat. Lesson learned and all the other ski boats kept then volumns turned down. I'm not against anyone having fun on the water until it becomes an annoyance to a lot of other people trying to also enjoy the water...............jmho

I think that he is the second police chief up north to say things like that. The Police Chief in Detroit said he wanted all people in Detroit that did not have a criminal record to purchase a gun and those that wanted to , to get a carry permit and be able to protect themselves. He was all for civilians being able to defend themselves because he said we try to serve and protect but we cannot be every place at the same time.................... :ugh:  :ugh:

Yea. it's a big lake but you have to understand that wake boarding, Sking and Wave Runners are not fun things to do without an audience. If they find a pontoon boat with folks on it or Cabin Cruiser or two anchored someplace out of the way in a pocket or back of a creek they will make it unbearable for them by waking them while showing their ass with boom boxes blasting that you can hear 2 miles away. I went through that for to many years to mention. I quit fishing about 3 years ago and sold my Skeeter bass boat and almost all my gear of over 25 years of fishing accumulation. The only peace I could find was at night fishing when all the recreational water crafts were parked. It will slow down some after Labor Day but normally it's mid October before you can fish in peace during the day. good luck with the pontoon.................. :up: :up:

I'm guessing Obama has told the dumbass that he will be retiring there when he leaves office and would like it to be safe for him and his queen so the guy melted the excess guns rather than sell them to legal law biding citizens.............jmho

Like I have said many times, I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer so my question is, when a person enters our country illegally is he committing a felony or is it a misdemeanor? If it is a felony that automatically disqualifies him or her of being allow to legally obtain and own a firearm. If it is a misdemeanor does that also mean he/she cannot own a gun?.............just curious and not trying to take sides on this issue...................... :shrug: :shrug: 

I saw it on Yahoo News this morning and Yahoo News did not specify the race of the shooter either. It was easy enough to tell by the camera shots what his race was.............jmho.     RIP Officer Goforth and prayers to your family............. :(

I bet if that would have been a white person doing the shooting and the news people being Black the race baiters would have connected it right back the that Church shooting. Since it was Black on White most of the main stream news medias are avoiding it like the plague................. :ugh: :ugh:

I suffer from same kind of eyesight  and my buddy has quit asking me to go to the range with him but I am hoping all that changes in September. I am going to have a cataract Evaluation and see about having my cataracts removed. My eye doctor says he doesn't think I will even need glasses after the removal of them. I miss going to the range and looking very forward to the surgery now....... :up:  :up: 

I have a former Son In Law that I am still very good friends with that grew up in the Bronx of New York City and he does go back and forth to visit family. He has invited me several times to go with him all expenses paid and I decline each time. Last time he ask and I said as much as I value our friendship I would not even ever consider going to New York for any reason so now he has quite asking and we are still friends and he still lives in Nashville. He has a TN HCP and leaves his gun at home when he goes to visit family.

Well, I would not want to be bias but I think my name tells what I think of Bersa's. With that said I have not seen anyone mention the S&W 380 Bodyguard. I have one and love it and have never had a single issue with it. I do have the laser on mine and love that also............just my :2cents:

I have zero interest in viewing the video. I have seen people shot before in real life and it's not at all pretty. Anyone that served in military and was on front lines saw it many times like myself and don't think I want to see it again just for entertainment..........jmho

My Grandson says it is an option of the teacher as to whether they recite the pledge in the Cheatham County Schools. He attends Grammer school in Kingston Springs. My son is considering home schooling him since my daughter in law is qualified to be a teacher and at one time was offered a position teaching in Cheatham County.

I have a friend that is an avid shooter and very good at it. He also lost his Trigger Finger back to first knuckle off main palm as a child and is right handed. He shoots at the range every week and shoots everything from 22's to Tokarev 7.62X25 and several 1911's and he uses middle finger for all of them. He does shoot two handed most of the time but I have seen him shoot with one hand and very accurately.he will order the grips for each firearm that he shoots till he finds to right feel. He has in the past had grips special made for the 762's but he has no problem.   I am sorry for your accident but I am thinking if you are as dedicated to shooting as my friend is you will over come this and be back shooting as good as ever...........
