Their three kids, all successful, agreed to a Sunday dinner in their honor. "Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad," gushed Son No. 1. 'Sorry I'm running late. I had an emergency at the hospital with a patient, you know how it is, and I didn't have time to get you a gift." "Not to worry," said the father. "Important thing is we're all together today." Son No. 2 arrived. "You and Mom look great, Dad. I just flew in from LA between depositions and didn't have time to shop for you." "It's nothing," said the father. "We're glad you were able to come." Just then the daughter arrived. "Hello and happy anniversary! Sorry, but my boss is sending me out of town and I was really busy packing so I didn't have time to get you anything." After they had finished dessert, the father said, "There's something your mother and I have wanted to tell you for a long time." "You see, we were really poor, but we managed to send each of you to college." "Through the years your mother and I knew we loved each other very much, but we just never found the time to get married." The three children gasped and said, "WHAT? You mean we're bastards?" "Yep", said the father, "Cheap ones too."

I don't know if you could be considered hunting over baited area if you plant something that would most likely not grow naturally in that area. What my son did was plant Persimmon trees cause deer love them and they grow wild in most areas. He has had really good luck with them and they are a very durable and hearty tree that grows and produces fairly fast..............jmho

Saturday Night Specials for sure. I would not want to fire one with today's much hotter 22 ammo but back in their hay days the MOB used them for hits. One shot to the back of the head at close range and then toss it. I did grow up in Chicago is how I know these things.................

A virile, middle-aged Italian gentleman named Guido was relaxing at his favorite bar in Rome when he managed to attract a spectacular young blond woman. Things progressed to the point where he invited her back to his apartment and, after some small talk, they retired to his bedroom where he rattled her senseless. After a pleasant interlude he asked with a smile, "So, you finish?" She paused for a second, frowned, and replied, "No." Surprised, Guido reached for her and the rattling resumed. This time she thrashed about wildly and there were screams of passion. The sex finally ends and, again, Guido smiles and asks, "You finish?" Again, after a short pause, she returns his smile, cuddles closer to him and softly says, "No." Stunned, but damned if he was going to leave this woman unsatisfied. Guido reaches for the woman yet again. Using the last of his strength, he barely manages it, but they end together screaming, bucking, clawing and ripping the bed sheets. Exhausted, Guido falls onto his back, gasping. Barely able to turn his head, he looks into her eyes, smiles proudly and asked again, "You finish?" Barely able to speak, the beautiful blond whispers in his ear .......... "No, I'm Norwegian."

Yea, I probably should use different language. The word flip is not really a good word to use. It sounds like I would sell it to anyone. I don't guess the authorities would take into consideration I require a bill of sale and proper ID and HCP before I will sell a gun. Thanks for looking out for me..............

I used Norton back about 12 years ago and it let a worm in my computer. When I got it back from computer repair service It had AVG on it. I told my buddy when I dropped it off to be fixed to down load what ever virus protection service he uses at his shop and on his computers. I have been using AVG ever since with zero issues. It does from time to time lock down my computer when it traps a Bug coming in but once I follow the instructions in the lock down screen I am up and running again in less than 10 minutes with zero programs effected. I pay $64.00 a year for it and worth every dime of it..................jmho

I have no issues with 22 ammo. Got plenty. This is not really a gun I will keep. I wanted the black rifle when I got it and enjoyed shooting it but once the newness wore off it was just another ammo eater sitting in the gun safe taking up space. I will probably have this gun checked out to make sure it is up to snuff and flip it. I have other long guns and other hand guns that I prefer more than another ammo eater. When I go to the range I practice with guns I am planning on packing and defending myself with. Not to just target practice with. Ammo is to hard to come by for that for me any more..............jmho

I had that CHIAPPA M Four-22 with two mags and an Otasco Scope and soft case. I don't remember exactly what I had in it because I bought it and another gun at the same time. Anyway I had a friend that really wanted the Rifle. I Call a buddy that is an FFL dealer hear on the site and got the wholesale price of the Rifle. When my buddy came by to talk trade he had the item below and $375.00 cash to trade. Did I get a good deal or get burned? I may not have made the trade with a stranger but this was a close friend. See what I got along with the cash below. Anyone that lived through the beginning and so called end of the cold war knows all about the Dooms day Clock. I have no clue when they added the climate change formula into the mix but if the end of the world is going to come in my lifetime it will be a nuclear ending and not a Climate warming / Climate change situation. Any day at any time with the reckless careless people that now have their hands on the buttons. The Cold War is back on but it is back on with a much warmer temperature atmosphere and I look for some radical group of Islamic group to get their hands on enough nuclear materials to build a bomb that will kill millions of people. At that point all the Nuclear powers will blame the other side and the Cold War will go hot and the world will be destroyed by fire as it says in the bible. It just won't be GOD pushing the buttons. It will be stupid humans.............jmho

"Quote" " We may well see the day when the worlds oil does not come from the middle east... It will (...and is...) flow from the Americas (...in spite of Obama and the dammed democrats and enviornmentalists...); specifically the good ole USA and Canada... Look for more to flow out... Last november (...2014...), the good ole USA wuz the number one producer of oil in the world... Yea, we were #1 last year but the real issue with that is our oil companies are selling more than half of it to the highest bidders in Foreign countries instead of it remaining here. What we have now it was we were supposing to be striving for in the last 50-60 years and now that we have it we are not going to keep it. I would advise everyone to enjoy these prices while they last because which the way the Middle East is shaking and baking I don't look for these prices to last long. They have already began cutting back on our oil production to force the prices in foreign countries to go up. Hope I am wrong but only time will tell.................jmho

This type of garbage has been going on for years. I was talking with my Son the other day about back when he was in school. He had one teacher that didn't teach but would just give out an assignment to the class and then get on the computer in the class room the entire period. One day he had a question about the assignment and made an attempt to walk up and ask the teacher the question. She stopped him short of her desk and asked him what he wanted. He said he had a question about the assignment and she told him that this was not a question and answer period and told him to return to his seat. He did as she instructed and when class was over he walked up and put his text book on her desk. She ask him what he was doing and he said turning my book in so my parents do not get charged for it at the end of the year. I won't need it since your not going to teach out of it. He went the last 3 months of that class without ever completing an assignment and she gave him a C+ for the year and he was moved to the next grade. That is how they taught back then and it has not improved yet. That was back in 1982. I look for i to get much worse and not better......................jmho -
I think on this one for many people your asking for an impossibility. I have seen people walk right out in a busy intersection and never raise up to even see where they are. It's like their in some kind of trance...................jmho (Quote) "Pay attention to your surroundings all the time. Head outta the smartphone!"

I have had the privilege of discharging what would be considered 2 heavy caliber rifles in my life. First one was a H&H 375 Caliber that hurt like hell on my shoulder and I said once was enough with that gun. The second one was a Holland & Holland side by side 454 with a metal butt plate Bengal tiger hunting gun. I wore a bruise from my shoulder to my waist and half way around my back. At that point in my life which was shortly after returning home in 1975 I promised myself if it was larger than 30-06 I would never pull a trigger. Call me chicken and I will try my best to lay an egg for you but I won't shoot anything bigger than an 06 period.......................... :ugh: :ugh:

Gosh!! I'm late to this party. I have always thought Marlin arms were always top notched. Have they been having problems with their quality of their guns?................................. :ugh: :ugh:

I think after Australia made their decision their crime rate also doubled or tripled and they soon realized that they had also made the same very poor decision to collect all the guns from the civilians...............jmho -
Single action revolvers for carry purposes?
bersaguy replied to suspiciousmind's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
We had a guy take his test in my class with an SA 22 cal and passed it quite well. My instructor was always barking to everyone to load six and get ready to shoot regardless of what style of gun you were using to qualify with. There where a couple other wheel guns there also so loading six kept everyone equal fire time. -
I was fishing when I learned from another angler that our country was under attack and loaded my boat on the trailer and headed for the house to learn more. I saw every gas station with cars lined out in the street with people panicking about fuel. I always have gas at the house so I didn't bother trying to get gas. I just wanted to get home. I have had three things I can remember exactly were I was at when I learn of and or felt bad news. The first was I was in 6th period study Hall at high school when we received word of Kennedy's assassination. In1969 I was about 7 clicks south of Chu Lai when I got shot and I was fishing when I learn of the 9/11 attacks. All in that order. There is some things you just don't forget................jmho

I can agree with that but in most other religions they will shun away from the ones that use the religion for evil. In most of the Muslim / Islamic people they stay silent because of the few that might be peaceful, for every peaceful one there are 10,000 radical ones so how do you know who to trust and who will cut your head off if possible. Their belief is death to all infidels and unless you are Islamic/Muslin or a converted one you are an infidel and the enemy..............jmho
