  1. Paddy  and Mick are two Irishmen working at the local  sawmill.  One  day, Mick slips and his arm gets caught and severed by the big bench saw.  Paddy quickly puts the limb in a plastic bag and rushes it and Mick to the  local hospital. Next  day, Paddy goes to the hospital and asks after Mick.  The nurse says,  "Oh he's out in Rehab exercising." Paddy  couldn't believe it, but there's Mick out the back exercising his now re-attached arm.   The very next day he's back at work in the saw  mill. A  couple of days go by, and then Mick slips and severs his leg on another  bloody big saw.  So  Paddy puts the limb in a plastic bag and rushes it and Mick off to Hospital. Next  day he calls in to see him and asks the nurse how he is.  The nurse  replies, "He's out in the Rehab again exercising." And  sure enough, there's Mick out there doing some serious work on the  treadmill. And very soon Mick comes back to work.   But,  as usual, within a couple of days he has another accident and severs his  head. Wearily  Paddy puts the head in a plastic bag and transports it and Mick to hospital. Next  day he goes in and asks the nurse how Mick is.  The nurse breaks down and cries and says, "He's dead." Paddy  is shocked, but not surprised. "I suppose the saw finally did him  in." "No," says the nurse, "Some idiot put his head in a plastic bag and he suffocated."

  2. Three  desperately ill men met with their doctor one  day to discuss their  options.   One was an Alcoholic, one  was a Chain-Smoker, and one was a Homosexual.   The  doctor, addressing all three of them, said, "If  any of you indulge  in your vices one more time, you will surely  die."   The men left the doctor's office;  each convinced that he would never  again indulge himself in his vice.   While  walking toward the subway for their return trip  to the suburbs,  they passed a  bar.   The  Alcoholic, hearing the loud music and smelling the ale, could not stop  himself. His buddies accompanied him into the bar, where he had a shot of  whiskey. No sooner had he replaced the shot glass on the bar, he fell off  his stool, stone cold dead.   His companions, somewhat shaken, left  the bar, realizing how seriously they must take the  doctor's words. As they  walked along, they came upon a cigarette butt lying on the ground, still  burning.   The Homosexual looked at the Chain-Smoker and said, "You  know if you bend over to pick that up, we're both dead."
  3. I have been a Kroger shopper for about 20+ years and have only had one issue with them and it was taken care of with one trip to my regular store. I use to fish a lot and I own a Skeeter bass boat which can hold 40 gallons of fuel when empty. I use to get my grocery points for gas and one month I had 30 cents off a gallon so drove out to the big new store with my boat and jeep. I filled up the Jeep and then pulled the boat up to fill it up.  When it hit 35 gallons on the pump it shut off. I went up to the fuel window and told the guy that the pump shut off. He said there is a 35 gallon limit on discount points. I dug out my receipt and read the entire thing and no where on the receipt did it state there was any limits. Well, I was about half done with the boat so I had him turn the pump back on and I used the 3 cents off to finish filling up the boat.   The total gallons bought was 54.3. I took the boat home and put it up and went up to my local Kroger store and had a talk with the manager. I showed him the receipt showing I had 346 fuel points and explained to him what happened when I tried to fill my Jeep and boat. Then I asked him to point out to me where it read that there was a 35 gallon limit. He could not find one.   He took me up to the courtesy counter and told the girl behind the counter to issue me a Kroger gift card for $50.00 on manager approval. She did and I was happy. Next time I went shopping at Krogers and got my receipt and looked at Fuel points the receipt stated there is a 35 gallon limit on fuel point purchase. He contacted Corporate and it was updated almost immediately. I Got refunded my money so I was happy and still shop at Krogers today and have 143 fuel points to date......................
  4. Well, I have read most all the posts here and the links I could open up. I have been feeding Kasey Pedigree since her vet recommends it as a part of her diet along with Crockpot chicken breasts. She also feeds it to her own dogs and has been for years. As far as Kasey's jerky snacks, she gets Jack's Links Turkey Or Beef Jerky treats several times a day and has been for almost 10 years now with not adverse effects at all and she goes in for vet check ups twice a year. Her vet said except for the fact that she is a little over weight she is very very healthy to be 15+ years old and seems very happy. I don't plan on changing anything and will continue to show her love and when she does make the trip to Doggie Heaven she will not go there without all the love I can show her while shes here..............
  5. I know this is probably a stupid idea but maybe the pressure needs to be put on the Iron Tennessee Dictator. Begin making our feelings know that if he has his eye on replacing Alexander in the U.S. Senate he might need the vote of Tennessee Gun owners to get it so he may want to become a little more Gun Friendly while he is our little Dictator...................jmho
  6. That was a great gesture for sure and you can bet he appreciated it............................ :usa: :usa: :usa:
  7. Ok, just talked with my son and found out that his lawyer was able to get his charge changed from DUI to reckless driving. I didn't know that until just now and don't want to mislead you so wanted to post this right away. Sorry for my first post as I didn't know all the facts on his case............. :ugh: :ugh:
  8. They can't blame the plane because the co-pilot left notes and letters admitting to taking blame for it. They are now wanting in cockpit cameras to show all of the actions? Like the cameras are going to prevent an incident like what happened to the last downed plane. It might be that policies need to be changed in what takes place during flight by the pilot and co-pilot. In most cases after an airliner reaches flight altitude the pilots all have a tendency to leave the cockpit and walk the isle introducing himself and maybe a rest room stop. Maybe that policy needs to end for a start to passenger safety. If they want to continue that policy add a 3rd pilot to each flight and the pilot can be relieved by the backup pilot and also the co-pilot when need be and that way there is always two pilots flying the plane........................................JMHO  Oh yea, this is just another reason when I got my feet back on American soil back in 1974 I promised I would never fly again and I haven't..................
  9. I think you killed the bad guy many many times.............................   Great range trip for sure :usa:
  10. If they still made cap pistols like I had as a child I guess you would only be able to buy a roll of caps with 10 pops in each roll if the dictator had his way.................................

  12. My son has one DUI on his driving record from back in 2001 and he didn't have any problems at all getting his HCP after attending and passing the class...............my. :2cents:
  13. I think all the parents with any respect for our military should stand up and demand that the principal be removed from his position at the school for sure. Form a legal non violent protest out in front of the school until the man is gone. That young man is to be admired for his love of his step brother and his love of country.............jmho

    Helmet Law

PDF and seat belt are not the same in Tennessee. In Tennessee if you don't click it you get a ticket. With PFD's Your only required to have one in the boat for each person but they are not required to wear them. Thing about that PFD law is except on Holidays there is no TWRA boats out on most lakes to enforce it to begin with...........jmho
  18. Really great moonshine if your not expecting it. This one goes back to my high school years in a small town in Illinois. All through High School we has this one SOB that thought he was blessed with the gift to being able to drink more than any one else at any party. His specialty was double or triple shots of whiskey and would wash it with water. Well, me and a few buddies took a road trip down here to Tennessee back when my Grandfather was still making really great shine and it was Gin Clear. I asked him if he had any Corn liquor which was mostly shine ran through charcoal to darken it up a little. I got a large fruit jar of the Corn and a gallon of his shine and headed back north. At a party the following weekend down on the river bank with a bon fire blazing and music blasting this SOB was just tipsy enough for me to shut him up. I called him out and told him I had something he could not do a triple on and he said bring it on.   Well, We poured him a triple shot of corn in a glass and I had poured a glass of moonshine about 10 ounces or little more and I told him I had his water ready. He dumped that Corn in his mouth and his eyes got real big and he reached for the water and he chugged about 3/4 of the moonshine before he realized what it was and as he began to lower the glass slowly. 2 guys got behind him as he began to lean over backwards and caught him and eased him to the ground. We kept checking on him to make sure he was still breathing. About the time the party was winding up he began to show signs of life. One of the guys asked him if he wanted another drink and he rolled over and began to cover the ground with some really ugly stuff. He never attended another one of our parties and he actually accused us of trying to poison him. We told him that what he drank is drank by thousands of folks all over the country everyday. Difference was it's a mans drink and not a boys drink................

  21. That is a pretty cool machine for sure and could be fun, but I bet that machine may not stand up to my buddy's 7.62x25 Tokarev......
  22. I have a friend that does maintenance on one of the local indoor ranges and that gets his free range time and a little pocket change. He came for coffee one day and was complaining about a new class instructor that had been allow to begin holding Tactical Defense classes at the range and each day after the guy held a class my buddy would go in the next day and the guy had not done any cleanup up after the class and the range floor had trash everywhere and still had all the target dummies and two large plywood boards left in the middle of the range floor.   My Buddy went up and got the owner of the range which is connected to a gun shop and showed him how the guy left the range. The owner said he would talk to the guy. Well the Tact Teacher did clear his stuff and store it along one wall after the first couple classes but didn't sweep anything. You know what they say about pay backs.........lol.   The guy had showed up the other day with 5 new target dummies he used in his classes and was bragging to my buddy about how much they cost. He made the mistake of asking my buddy if he would like to take a few shots at them. My buddy declined. The guy would not take no for an answer and said go ahead and shoot a few rounds. Finally my buddy said ok and pulled out his Tokarov and shot the heads off three of the dummies at about 35 yards.   The guy got really pissed because he destroyed 3 new pieces of Tactical Training Class equipment. As my buddy was walking away he turned and told the guy to make sure he cleaned up his mess. The guy went up to the owner of the Gun shop and told the owner what happened. The owner took my buddy's side and said you offer him to shoot them so I don't see the issue. The tactical guy packed up and found another range to hold classes. My buddy is now a happy camper once again..........
  23. I have a buddy that sets up 2 tables at one of the local shows once a year and he collects things from friends all year for the show. He normally has a very variety to offer and in most case will almost sell out every year. He does not make a lot but will normally make 250. to 300.00 profit so makes it worth the trip. He will take a family member or close friend along each time...............
  24. I will never forget that day. I had a few friends in the towers that day that did not come home. My wall paper on my computer is a picture of the twin towers about 1 minute after the 2nd plane hit the tower so I am reminded of it every day when I turn on my computer. I had a friend of mine send me this picture and I thought I would post it here. O got it in the following winter. 25. Your 1995 K1500 should still have one of the good radiators and back for many years as a mechanic I used United Radiator Service to have all of my customers radiators repaired. They have done great work for many years and saved folks a ton of money by fixing rather than selling them a new one. They are located at 118 15th Avenue in Nashville about 2 blocks  off interstate at Broadway. Great bunch of folks................just my  :2cents:
