Assault Weapons Ban Upheld In MA
E4 No More replied to E4 No More's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
And how many 2A cases did they NOT pick up? To my recollection they are numerous. Funny how they can jump right in on a case when it suits the government, but not the people. How fast did the gay cake marriage case make it there? An issue representing <3% of Americans is addressed quickly versus the feet dragging of an issue that affects all Americans. -
I tried getting into one of them as well a few years ago. Same problem as the CTS 2-door: I couldn't get my head in without banging it into the roof. I'm 6'4" but my body is proportional in that I don't have long legs with a short torso nor short legs with a long torso. I am also broad shouldered with a barrel chest. Nowadays I have a barrel belly too.

For lack of a better term, she's the Director of Shared Services in the corporate office without the title...yet. She manages Treasury, Accounts Payable, and Payroll departments. She anticipates them adding the Accounts Receivable department to her by the summer making it a true shared services unit.

I'm not debating what the "modern Court" does. They clearly do NOT do as they were originally intended to do. That's the whole problem. Their job is to judge constitutionality, and if they did that even 50 years ago we wouldn't be having this crap today, nor having to pay to fight for our rights. Settle what the 2A means now and it settles a lot of the uncivil discourse in our country that's occurring. -
I am the same way. I bought an Ed Brown Kobra Karry because I wanted a nice, solid 1911. Personally, I like the tonal quality of the Martins. That's not a secret even though my wife works for Gibson.

Yes, but does it fit tall big people? To put it this way, I couldn't even get into a Cadillac CTS 2-door with the seat at its lowest setting. We had to go with a XTS 4-door, and it's still hard to enter/exit. Once I got into it it was great!

This is true. I usually don't fit into any clown car high mileage vehicle.

Glock trigger upgrades--worth it??

I have the Evo on my G20 & G29. Well worth the money IMHO. -
I couldn't get by the hamster car and the special ed bus. In my mind Kias were cheap cars aimed at millennials so I ignored the brand. My wife traded in her Cadillac XTS for a Nissan Murano last summer/fall, and laments doing to. I must say that I don't blame her because the magnetic ride was real nice. My Silverado 3500 rides much softer than other brands of lighter capacity too. I am not a brand snob by I think GM is really kick'n it!

I disagree. There is a LOT of angst and turmoil in this country over several decades because the SC is NOT doing their job which is to ensure the constitutionality of the laws. It is NOT to decide a fraction of the issue one decade followed by a fraction another decade, followed by yet another fraction a decade later, etc. It is also NOT their job to play politics which is the sum of the state that we are in today. -
There's bells & whistles on a Kia???

I nominate Guinsberg! Seriously, I am so tired of the SC kicking this can down the danged road. Settle it for once! -
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/judge-assault-weapons-ban-doesnt-violate-2nd-amendment/ar-AAvyIYD?li=BBnbcA1 Sounds like someone needs to tell this judge that a flintlock was an assault weapon in 1787. I'm getting so tired of this crap!

I've been a salesman for more than 14 years, and a few months of that was as a car salesman. Car sales is very tough, but my advice to you is to not judge a book by its cover. I had a guy come into the dealership in a beat-up old pickup truck and dressed in dirty clothes. He walked right past two "experienced" salesmen who had looked at him and ignored him. I greeted him at the door as I would anybody. Long story short, he was buying a turbocharged Monte Carlo SS for his wife. It was the most profitable individual sale that dealership had seen in more years that the sales manager could remember. I learned this from my wife who had a similar situation when she worked at Zales many years ago.

Thanks for finding a vendor that offers a few tall items. I ordered a couple of shirts and a hat.

I've always subscribed to the Marine Corp's definition of courage: Courage is not the absence of fear, it's not allowing that fear to control you so that you can do what is needed to be done. I've been lucky to have met quite a few courageous people in my lifetime, and not one of them said that they weren't afraid.
