Funny story. I had a suspect flee into the woods in front of my car. Long story short, I called to him to come out in which he wouldn't. I then said loudly that I would release the dog to which he quickly came out of the woods with his hands up. Dogs get their attention in a heartbeat! EDIT: I forgot to mention that I had no dog. Just the threat was good enough.

I have seen ONE Hummingbird at the feeder outside my home office, (I work from home), and I have had American Goldfinches, House Finches, and House Sparrows at the feeder all day. I had an Eastern Bluebird land at the feeder and then fly off.

My daughter ALMOST was in this Waffle House right before the shooting. She normally goes there to eat after getting off work at her second job as a karaoke DJ up the street. She was about to turn into the Waffle House when she decided to just go home to fix breakfast since my wife and I were not home that night. Had we not been camping she would have arrived there right before the shooting. She said that she normally sits right at the counter by the front door with her back to the door. First, we are blessed that she wasn't there. Second, I asked her if she still thought that her getting a HCP and carrying a gun was a bad idea to which she replied no. Third, I pointed out that you never position yourself with your back to the door, and that's why she's never seen me do it.

Demand has gone up. I was asking why diesel prices continued to be high while gasoline was low so I Googled it. The economy is so booming that the demand for diesel skyrocketed while gas fell. Now that vacation time approaches the demand increases. Gotta love capitalism, don'cha know!

The "Ten Commandments" are the law and the law doesn't apply to the Saints. It's purpose was to spell out sins in the eyes of God. Romans 3:20 "Therefore by the deeds of the law [which is works] there shall be no flesh justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin." Romans 3:24 "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." Romans 3:28 "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." Romans 4:2 "For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God." Romans 5:1 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through out Lord Jesus Christ:" Romans 5:9 "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."

Another of my favorite versus is Romans 14:4 "Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. God has many servants, and it's not my job to judge them.

It's not at all hard to to determine who the intended audience is. The problem that I see is people being lazy by hiring someone to tell them what they are supposed to think. Notice that the beginning of that verse that I quoted did NOT say, "Hire some preacher/pastor/priest/bishop/rabbi to tell you what to think." It specifically puts the onus on us to study the bible for ourselves, but also warns us to do it correctly.

I reconcile it this way: Who was Jesus talking to? Answer: the Jews, who couldn't wrap their heads around the fact of how distorted their thinking had become - particularly, the fact that no one was justified by the law. The root cause of the issue for most conflicts of the bible come from people not reading in context of to whom it was being spoken. In 2 Timothy 2:15 it says, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Jesus is the word: therefore, you must know how to rightly divide what he was saying whether it be to the Jews, Gentiles, or the Saints.
