What would be a proper function check in this situation?

I was also(mis)informed that the old store in Rivergate had the EXACT same kind of range in it. Funny...all I remember him having was a simulator setup in the back.
-
Boy you ain't kidding. Memberships only, and those start 199.00/yr and you STILL pay 15.00 for 1 hour of range time..no guests. To get comp'ed range time you have to pay right at 1500.00 a yr. ...I'll pass thanks:screwy:

What we need is a new police chief..

when the SCAR and the ACR come out, I'm going to need a part time job, a buyer for a few unneeded bodily organs I happened to "find" on the street and a bigger safe

unfortunately it's just the barrel shroud. It's a 16in barrel rife according to the ATF.

Three Small Fires Recently Set At School POSTED: 12:25 pm CDT October 9, 2008 UPDATED: 12:40 pm CDT October 9, 2008 MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Middle Tennessee State University officials canceled classes from now until Oct. 15, saying they had received a credible threat.University President Sidney McPhee sent an e-mail to all faculty, staff and students at the university in Murfreesboro, closing the campus at noon on Thursday.MTSU spokeswoman Lisa Rollins said an e-mail through Yahoo.com was sent Wednesday to an administrator on the business faculty, threatening the entire student community with bodily harm.Rollins said the e-mail did not say how people would be harmed. She said concern was heightened by the setting of three small fires on campus recently. After classes ended Wednesday, an e-mailed threat was more widely circulated. Rollins said also a remodeled residence hall had been temporarily evacuated Wednesday night.

Perhaps angle the Hero Gear logo a bit. The straight horizontal text seems to look a bit out of place. Hero Gear angled across the truck, with serving those who serve under it

It's leaving today (Monday) It's at the main library on Church Street. I think it's open until 5. If possible get there early. There were tons of people there, but the line moved pretty well.

really.....I don't remember seeing people passing out after adoring GW Bush I don't remember people comparing Bush to Jesus last I checked no one was writing odes to GW and having their friggin children sing 'em I can't seem to find the YouTube video of lines of white children marching in step spouting out Bushes foreign policies Honestly...the media and leftists are acting like OBama is sent by God himself to deliver us to the communist mountain and they are more than willing to do everything in their power to get their "change" They don't pay attention to details. Little things like...not all change is for the best. or you can hope in one hand and p*ss in the other and see which one gets wet. To answer your question...YES...simple minded people seem to be falling over themselves to genuflect to the new idol of the left...no matter what it does to the country as a whole

The Declaration of Independence...one of the 25 original copies at least is at the downtown public library. Went today to see it...even in a little room with two older guys standing guard...it made shills run down my spine. Thinking about those men who were traitors to the crown that gave us our liberty. I'm wondering what they think of us today.

"Jesus camp" was at least billed religious...the obamazombies scare me MUCH more. The more I see the more I believe that there will be violence from his follower sooner rather than later.

AMEN PirateQiui....programmers make the problems, IT fixes 'em:p I actually had a "programmer" and I use that term loosely that the serious lag the company was experiencing with his overpriced software product wasn't due to the piss poor way it handled database calls....it was due to the fact that the client PCs hard drive spindle speed was too slow to run his app that lived on a high end server I get plenty of "customers" calling me to fix the laptop little johnny royally screwed up with porn then balk when I tell 'em my fees. I had one last week call me. Medical office, half the building is down, I'm 5 min away...they wanted me to come out and give them a free estimate. By the time I was done with the estimate I could most likely have the dang problem fixed. I pulled a number out of thin air ...I think I said 300.00...WHILE I WAS SITTING IN THEIR DRIVEWAY. Now...I'm NOT the cheapest out there..but I know WTF I'm doing...I was right there, and could have had them up I'd guess pretty quick. They said..OK...thanks..and hung up. OH well...

IDPA - Will It Get You Killed?
dunndw replied to Cruel Hand Luke's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I've taken several training classes. Their teaching is sometimes against the IDPA grain, sometimes not. One thing I've noticed is my IDPA reloads are faster, done from cover and ...I noticed Sunday during a couple of stages I was scanning for threats once I finished the stage. -
I signed up today

Why go with the +P loads? HSTs running standard pressures in a full size weapon should work fine. If you were running subcompacts I could understand going with the +P to sty to save some velocity. I know the alloy frame Kimbers don't like +P ammo very much. I ran several through a Kimber 4in alloy frame and it didn't like it at all. I ran the same batch of ammo and mags through a 5in steel gun with no problems at all. Could the plastic fantistics not like the increased loads? I'll take all the defective .45ACP HSTs off your hands :-)

I have Larrys grips on several of my guns. The only thing I like better is the VZ Aliens.

The mag extensions worked pretty well. I don't see what they wouldn't work in a G21. They take the OEM mag, take the floorplate off, slide it inside the extension, replace the spring and floorplate and that's that.

so...when does the Crazy Daniels 80% off sale start?

1st Range Report: The "advanced recoil reducing" works fairly well...it's no two bullets in the same hole tack driver but i was able to make a pretty little 4 leaf clover in the head at 25 yards after sighting in the EoTech. I think the rifle shipped rather dry. I had several FTF and FTEs using Georgia Arms ammo. When I brought it home and disassembled her for cleaning I noticed how dry it was. With the Eotech it points up really quick and it's very easy to get back on target. It takes much longer to load 4 30 round mags than it does to empty them. After shooting it I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the side rail to attach the TRL2. The VFG actually makes it easier to handle. I didn't think it would make that big of a difference. the magwell is actually countoured for your support hand. It even has a little indentation for a pressure pad. the only downside is I walked the 1911 counter at Guns and Leather as I was leaving and they have a hard chrome Nighthawk T3 in the case. THAT is my (current) dream 1911. If I would have known that was sitting there waiting for me I would have gone that route instead of the Kriss...if I could find the additional $1300.00 price difference

I'm planning hitting either Stones River or Guns and Leather. I'm leaning towards Guns and Leather so I can check on picking up a EoTech and getting her sighted in.
