No, it was the 13th, the original 13th. http://themillenniumreport.com/2015/10/the-missing-13th-amendment-no-lawyers-allowed-in-public-office/ https://www.thelibertybeacon.com/missing-13th-amendment-found-no-lawyers-in-public-office/ This is said to include lawyers who have a tile of Esquire and register in the BAR (British Accredited Registry) precluding them from serving in Government positions.

Those people only get the power we, the people, give them. The issue is that those that allow them in their heads keep perpetrating the lies, and or use them to push their own agenda.

She lost me when she started up with the whole "systemic racism", there is no credible evidence that this is the case, at least in how they portray it. Yes, there are a bunch of examples of racism, but to say it's "systemic" means we have policies in place that purposefully discriminate because of race. In fact, I'd argue that it is the opposite.

Life in section 8 is very different than in your regular neighborhoods, I grew up with friends and acquaintances in many a "jets" and lived right across the street from one. The problem is that when you get that many low income people all grouped up together, of any race as my peeps are Hispanic, you get crime and an us against them mentality. The government has tried to scatter those communities, but by then it has become a way of life for them and the crime spreads instead of stopping. The solution is to try and instill the values and work ethic required to succeed, but like others have said, it is something that needs to come from within, but the gov has worked hard at making them dependent on them and breaking up family units so there is nobody there to instill those values.

I would be more surprised if he didn't. Most of Hollywood is anti 2A, but wouold be nothing without portraying them on the tube or the screen.

Wait, Amazon has $11 fat chicks?

I look at it this way, right or wrong. If you sell your stash at market prices, then that is between you and the buyer. But, if you purposefully clean out the LGS or other sporting goods store at normal prices just to turn around and sell them at market prices then you are a douchbag. You are not adding any value to the sale whatsoever. You just took away someone's opportunity to purchase at near normal (cause it's going up everywhere) just to line your pockets.

Ha, on this side note, my supposed 5g phone has NEVER hit 5g in this state. I guess that Nashville bomber had nothing to worry about.

These people can keep their high priced primers, I am well stocked for my hunting needs, I can hunt every day of the season for my entire lifetime and still not run out, now plinking, those I will resort to, as they taught me in SERE school, going ugly early. I have started using the DIY methods and damn if they don't work, match heads, and toy caps actually fire my 9mm rounds just fine and I am sure the rest as well. I have also downloaded a few recipes for DIY primer compounds which don't really look that hard to do. I have no plans on becoming a source, but if this continues some enterprising soul will, and you will see more and more sources of primers pop up, though I am sure the price will still reflect the demand, just not what the commercial ones do.

I don't have any blinders on, I am fully aware that every administration needs to be kept an eye on, on multiple fronts, but there is a reason we pay more attention when the socialists are in charge. While we have had Republicans do harm to the 2A, I do believe they are not in the business to completely gut it. These socialists have come out and said that the 2A needs to go away, and actively seek to do as much damage as they can anytime they can.

Screw all that running, I'll just sit in my nest and take the shot.

Let me see: The Justice Department, within 30 days, will issue a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of “ghost guns.” Aint afraid of no ghosts; good luck trying to find these, and now that 3d printing of lowers have been proven, well, you get my point. The Justice Department, within 60 days, will issue a proposed rule to make clear when a device marketed as a stabilizing brace effectively turns a pistol into a short-barreled rifle subject to the requirements of the National Firearms Act. Hmm, I wonder what the disabled Americans will have to say about this one? Would this fall under the American's with Disabilities Act?? The Justice Department, within 60 days, will publish model “red flag” legislation for states. SCOTUS needs to weigh on this clear violation of the 2nd, 4th, and 14th amendment. The Administration is investing in evidence-based community violence interventions. They wouldn't acknowledge evidence that would show more LEO intervention lowers crime now would they?

Glad you guys are safe, that one cabin up the hill looked like they were in trouble.

Has anyone seen the total number of TN deaths (all causes) for 2020 and 2021 (so far)? * +1005 death difference between 2017 and 2018. * +862 death difference between 2018 and 2019. *Normal due to population growth and aging of the population. https://www.tn.gov/health/health-program-areas/statistics/health-data/death-statistics.html

I am all for early warning, specially for high winds and tornados, but it seems that the weather people cream their shorts when this stuff develops. They take over programing and keep repeating over and over their dire warnings about the possibility of damaging weather conditions for what seems like hours. It gets to the point where you start to ignore the information, even when you are in the supposed path. I would much rather they come in during a commercial, do their spiel, then go away, or drop it to a corner of the screen like some do. I get it, job security and all, but there has to be a happy medium. During tornado warnings, I can see going at it full bore, but when it's just a watch they need to back off a little.

A couple of good downpours and nothing else here, not even a rumble I could discern.

I guess it would suck if you are one of the few that complied and destroyed theirs.

I am not against having these classes available in school, as electives, so the parents and children can have the opportunity to learn some gun safety. Heck, I would like to see more outdoor related school courses made available to kids. Much better than some of the courses they are now made to take. That doesn't take away the responsibility of the parents/family, it bolsters the efforts of those that choose to do so, and gives the ones that probably don't know themselves the opportunity to let their kids get that education.

It is dangerous when you move to contact, but if already in the kill zone, having the means to return fire sure can't hurt.

If I get what you are saying right, then yes, I believe that if he didn't do anything criminal to get his rights revoked then he should have been able to buy the rifle, again legally, as we haven't been told the exact nature of the sale. It is unfortunate that people go all unhinged sometimes, and wish there were some way to prevent it before it happens, but disarming everyone is not the way. It is arguable that there could have been less victims had someone had a weapon or weapons on hand to take him down before LEO did, but there apparently had nothing to fight back with.
