  1. I don't know, how many socialists do we have?
  2. The one I got at Lowes is pretty good, it is lightweight, quiet and really has some good air pressure. I used this combo to build some stuff out at my hunting land, it runs all my nail guns and most of my air tools. And yea, it will inflate a tire easily without having to wait too long for it to reach the pressure you need.
  3. Here is my take, popularity of gun-control is for the most part over inflated, especially after all the riots and change in administration, as shown by all the new gun owners. But, now that they have full control of the election process, and there is no agency to challenge that, it does not matter what the people want, they will pass whatever "laws" they want and dare the courts to go against them. Yesterday's events are a mere peek at what we may have ahead of us, and until we instill a sense of fear into our "elected" leaders, this will not end well, for any of us, left or right.
  4. tndeer.com Not locked down, yet.
  5. You can't have it both ways; you probably meant: Maybe, Maybe Not.
  6. The difference is they probably paid taxes for that "welfare".
  7. Same same. Snopes just reprinted. I have avoided Snopes, they are far too liberal with their fact checking for me.
  8. I am sure his crew will be busy drawing up things for him to rubber stamp.
  9. We will see come Jan 20.
  10. Won't matter, he will toe the line like all the lefties. Why do you think he didn't raise a stink when the Dem nomination was stolen from him?
  11. Somewhere I bet there is another driver rethinking his actions, and hope he also has seen the light of not escalating a non event into a life changing one. I recently drove back from Denver, and am heading back there tomorrow, and have encountered some very rude drivers. One passed into my lane, on purpose, within inches of my vehicle even though traffic was light. I almost honked at him but decided not to as I did not want to escalate the situation even though I was well armed. You never know what the other guy has going through his head, they may be looking for any excuse to be confrontational, it's best not to indulge them with any actions unless there is no other choice.
  12. I did that back when I was maintaining a regular food plot, but it was lime I used. Did have some 10-10-10 I got from a neighbor, but I used that around my house for the grass and garden. At my food plot, I switched to liquid lime pretty quick to use a sprayer, and bought another liquid fertiliser once that I seen advertised.
  13. What type fertilizer, and was any paperwork required? I've read where they now have an additive in it that makes it harder to detonate, or at least make it less explosive, but haven't looked to get any in a long time, and would probably do an alternative liquid anyway. https://www.mercurynews.com/2007/12/30/fertilizer-bill-okd-years-after-bombing/ https://www.cbsnews.com/news/us-pushing-new-rules-to-curb-fertilizer-bombs/
  14. Depending on what it was, it really isn't that hard. There are many many materials that can be used to make a rather impressive explosion. One of the things they taught us in Sapper School was the use of improvised explosives, and some worked better, IMO, than the commercially available products. One, a cratering charge, which is used to deny the enemy the use of landing strips, was just oil and fertiliser, with a stick of TNT as the charge. The TNT can be replaced with a pipe bomb, and the fertiliser (now hard to get due to McVeigh), an oxidizer, can also be replaced with varied types of everyday chemicals. No, you don't have to be super rich or well off, or have vast knowledge to put something like that together, you just need determination and an agenda.
  15. Not really, some are supersonic and would only make noise once past you. From the side the camera was on the explosion may have covered up any noise a missile made. I'm not saying it was one though, but I'm also not discounting it. What ever it was, it sure was powerful, the pressure knocked out some of the plywood on the building side that was around the corner, and the opposite side took damage as well.
  16. Thank you, wasn't sure I was coming across properly. Seems there are many that are willing to lose their liberties for a little perceived safety, if you are one of them, then so be it, but don't for one second think I will follow suit. The numbers for this entire thing just don't make sense, and the fact that those who get the vaccine can still spread the virus makes all this reaction even worse. Look, currently, there is a less than 1% mortality rate for the china virus, the vaccine is 90%+ effective, so why the talk about passports and such? Seems they are trying to get the population ready for more restrictions for something that doesn't warrant such extreme reaction. So you tell me why, you tell me how any of this makes any sense, how so many are buying into all this. Even though they say the numbers are true, they say it is a lie SMH https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2020/05/05/covid-19-fact-check-coronavirus-mortality-rate-misleading/3019503001/ While they tout the 90% + efficacy rate, they still say that those vaccinated can still spread it, and, may still be sick, though not as bad. But isn't that the case already? So we are trying to vaccinate 70% (at least) to protect the 1%, which may get it and die anyway? https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/how-to-interpret-the-efficacy-rates-of-coronavirus-vaccines/ar-BB1bjwJx
  17. I imagine some here will welcome this to feel "safe".
  18. When they get rid of their chopsticks, I'll consider their position on my guns...and then dismiss it outright.
  19. It will be interesting to see how they treat this. If they drag their feet on this, or at the very least treat it in the same speedy approval method they did the vaccines, then there will be more reason for me to avoid getting one. https://andmagazine.com/talk/2020/12/17/india-develops-covid-treatment-kit-for-2-65-per-person-u-s-doctors-just-testified-before-senate-it-works/
  20. I guess I'll have to tread lightly as well, as it seemed @The Big Guyand I debated the same members most times. I don't know him, but I feel this could have been handled differently. I've got other outlets, so didnt see the posted notice so I could have been one that got a bit miffed if it seemed I was kicked off a section of this board while other agitators were allowed to stay. I get that this is a gun site, but if there are other forums available I'm going to post on them, my interests are varied. Hell, if things keep going like it seems it's going, all we are going to have left is politics, and maybe not even that if the new administration gets in and treats the 1st Amendment like they do the 2nd.
  21. That is where the boating accidents come in. They can have all the records they want, but I have no duty to keep track of what happened to those purchases. In the future, I am sure you can't buy one even privately without the risk of getting yourself arrested by an informant, but all those past purchases are in the wind as far as I'm concerned.
  22. No pic, but I got my doe Monday after Sunday's rains. I decided that the all night rain would keep them bedded, and should have movement the next day. Was worried about fog though, as I was driving in Sunday night, it was bad in some spots. She came out about 9:30, at the top left corner or my property, looked right at the shoot house so I thought she would bolt. But she kept coming, I must of got tunnel vision because after I dropped her (bang-flop) one called about four or five times from somewhere in the back, then I see another come out and started walking toward the dropped doe. She too looked right at me, but either didn't see me or it didn't spook her. She hung around for about 10 minutes, and seen another walking around the woodline too. So there must have been at least three doe, and possibly a buck which didn't show himself. Anyway, done for the season unless another friends requests one.
  23. Which puts Knox County at a .89% death rate, or .95% if you use the other table on the same page, which begs the question, why the difference. https://covid.knoxcountytn.gov/case-count.html Edit: TN 2018 stats put Knox County at 10.3% death rate, no data I could find for 2019 or 2020 so far. https://www.tn.gov/content/dam/tn/health/documents/vital-statistics/death/2018/TN Deaths - 2018.pdf Edit again: Knox County had 263 drug OD deaths in 2018. https://www.tn.gov/health/health-program-areas/pdo/pdo/data-dashboard.html
  24. Which is why I would use a CB radio instead. A HAM Operators license is to use the range of freqs required to operate the radio, same if you wanted to broadcast on any restricted frequency like AM or FM, and that is to keep one from stepping on another.
