  1. I have a friend I have gamed online with for years, who with lives around Chicago.  Comcast does not enforce the 300 gb limit up there yet!!!!
  2. I filed a complaint with the fcc after new years day against comcast. I am waiting now for comcast to call about it.  Comcast has been resetting our data usage early.   Some days over 24 hours early.   The kids do a good job asking about downloading large games due to the 300gb cap.    So they will wait to the last hours of the last day if we are close to the gap before downloading large gb games.       So on new years eve comcast had reset the data usage  at 9pm our time saying we used 276gb.  I was chatting online with them about it they said they didn't reset it but don't worry cause we would get charged if we went over the 300gb limit, yet at 10pm it showed we had used 10gb on january 1 2016, and still showed december 2015 usage still at 276gb.     We went back and forth for about 20 mins the whole time the person was telling me that they could see the same dec 276gb and the january limite going up.   but still saying they haven't reset it. I went to print out the chat log but as soon as the person said bye and was gone the browser switched to a new page!      On new years morning it showed december 2015 usage 276gb  january 2016 40gb!

  6. Thanks to both of you for taking care of the beautiful dog.....     I grew up on a farm in the middle of no where.. we had a lot of dogs dropped off in the middle of the night.  My parents didn't have that much extra money but we kept and took care of them.     I still have a hard time understanding why people dropped them off.  Some were pure breeds some were just mutts.   There were some great dogs dropped off.     One was a blue tick, It was beautiful dog,  I remember my dad telling me not to expect to keep that one. He was right the dogs owner show up a few hours later looking for him.

We went yesterday afternoon.....thought it was a great movie.....to me it was like I walked out of the the return of the jedi and into this one without missing a beat...it did bothered me seeing how old much Harrison Ford has aged over the years making me think how much I have aged over the 30 or so years!!! :ugh:  :stunned:
  14. this subject has been brought up on here a few times ((((Several deputies have been wounded in unintended discharges but no reports of suspects or bystanders suffering injuries have been recorded. In 2014, there were nineteen incidents, over a 500 percent increase from 2012))))      Sad the M&P is a nice line of guns!!!! www.policeone.com/police-products/firearms/articles/55148006-Report-LASDs-new-firearms-put-officers-public-at-risk/
  15. hmmmm   #1 germantown  #2 collierville #6 bartlett  #8 arlington #11 lakeland    So they are saying that if you live one in the east suburbs of Memphis you are living in happiest part of TN???????????????   :ugh:  :ugh:  :ugh:  :ugh:  and I want to retire in the eastern part of TN
  16. Road salt doesn't bother vehicles much anymore. We lived in central il for eight years...lots of snow and salt.  the two vehicles we took up there  we still have here in tn.. one is a 2005 chevy trailblazer ext that we came back to tn to buy it was 7 months old when we picked it up in tn in 2005 then took it back up to il....the other is a 1996 maxima my son still drives daily.  I got a  2010 silverado 4x4  in 2010......the only rust the trailblazer has is at the trailer hitch I think it would have it also if it had stayed here in tn. the maxima looks the same.
  17. When I got my truck in 2010 the one of the dodge dealerships in peoria IL ran adds  for a dodge 4x4 ???? cab (the one with a half back door)  all summer long for $22XXX  it was a basic 4x4 but it had power windows and a basic am/fm radio....if i didn't have two teenage boys at that time with long legs I would have been happy with it!!!  I test drove one... they said they tried to keep at least 3 on the lot at all times.
  18.  I read that too...Sounds like a good way to get shot by the good guys.
  19.  back in march one of the instructors had one he was letting/helping the slow students use to speed up the process.
  20. CHARLES OSGOOD: We all have our own thoughts about the holidays. Here's Ben Stein with his.  BEN STEIN: Here at this happy time of year, a few confessions from my beating heart. I have no freaking clue who Nick and Jessica are.  (Footage of People magazine; Us magazine)  STEIN: I see them on the cover of People and Us constantly when I'm buying my dog biscuits. I still don't know. I often ask the checkers at the grocery stores who they are. They don't know who Nick and Jessica are, either. Who are they? Will it change my life if I know who they are and why they've broken up? Why are they so darned important?  (Footage of People magazine)  STEIN: I don't know who Lindsay Lohan is either, and I don't care at all about Tom Cruise's baby.  (Vintage footage of congressional hearing)  STEIN: Am I going to be called before a Senate committee and asked if I'm a subversive? Maybe. But I just have no clue who Nick and Jessica are. Is this what it means to be no longer young? Hm, not so bad.  Next confession: I am a Jew and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish, and it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautifully lit-up, bejeweled trees Christmas trees.  (Footage of Christmas trees)  STEIN: I don't feel threatened. I don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are — Christmastrees. It doesn't bother me a bit when people say 'Merry Christmas' to me. I don't think they're slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it. I shows that we're all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year.  It doesn't bother me one bit that there's a manger scene on display at a key intersection at my beach house in Malibu.  (Footage of manger scene; menorah)  STEIN: If people want a creche, fine. The menorah a few hundred yards away is fine, too. I do not like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the concept came from that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my throat. Or maybe I can put it another way. Where did the idea come from that we should worship Nick and Jessica and aren't allowed to worship God as we understand him? I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too. But there are a lot of us who are wondering where Nick and Jessica came from and where the America we used to know went to.
  21. It was Ben Stein back in 2005 who was on cbs about holiday trees.   and the white house has never referred to a Christmas tree as a holiday tree.
  22. you can also order via the internet.
  23. Here is what I posted in another thread.....IF YOU BUY A GLOCK 42.........It is not like the other glocks ...(Google glock 42 problems)....there is a break in period of about 300 to 500 rounds....I had problems with the glock 42 I bought, at least one failure to feed per every 2nd magazine during the first 300 rounds.  Hasn't happen after the first 300 rounds.  It did seem to happen more often with NEW cheaper ammo like freedom munitions.  But it is running fine now with the cheaper rounds......It would also fail to lock the slide back in the last round!  again it is working fine now.
