1. Received my LAPG L1 flashlight yesterday, and i am impressed with it. Although it lists for 49.99 on their website, I picked up mine for 39.99 using some discounts. I am impressed! 800 lumens is the advertized brightness, and although I haven't the ability to measure this, what I can say is that according to the rudimentary light output measuring criteria that I use, its freaking bright! lol. Here's a review I read online: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?325742-5-11-ATAC-L1-and-L2-flashlights I have a 400 lumen Fenix TK15, that I was impressed with, but this is as well made and much brighter. Construction seems to be very similar to the Fenix.
2. Loves me a good light, lol.  Ive got several, attached to guns and not attached.  Almost always have two with me, often one on my belt and one in my bag.  One of those is  AA, one is cr123A(Fenix) ...got another one on back order at LA Police Gear....supposed to be 800 lumen...
3. While I love CZs, the marlin is probably more in line with my anticipated budget.  Thanks, I will check them out!
4. Although I wont be able to get one for a while, and have other firearms desires ahead of it, I am interested in acquiring a .22WMR rifle at some point.  I wish the Keltec RMR was available, as I already have the PMR and its supposed to use the same mags, but alas, its a unicorn.  Anyway, what .22 WMR would you guys recommend?
5. Love it!  I want one so bad!!!
6. Ive got 3 wireless cams in my house.  1 is Foscam and the others are Belkin.  I can remote view all 3 on my iphone or ipad or any computer with internet.  All 3 are motion detection activated and all 3 email me stills when activated.  The foscam is also pan/tiltable via internet.  All 3 are IR and also wireless on my wifi network, but are plugged into power power outlets.  Belkins were around 100 each and the foscam was like 90.  Nothing else to buy.  Im happy with my setup.
7. Sad to say that this is the type of officer that may well thrive in the post war military that reflects current leadership thought processes.  Light Colonels, although relatively low in the officer food chain, are senior enough that they are often used as a means to promulgate new ideas and trends.  they are senior enough that many pay attention to them, yet junior enough that they can easily be thrown under the bus if necessary.  Also they can do the dirty work for an administration.  I seem to remember another light Colonel, years ago....hmmmm Ollie seems to be his name, lol.  Not to say that Ollie has anything in common with this guy other than sharing a rank.

10. I posted this on my facebook page. My own daughter and some of her friends will see it...hope that's ok. I figure the widest exposure possible may help. If this is NOT, ok, just let me know and I will take it down,.
11. Man Im so sorry!!  I also have a 14 year old daughter, and I worry about her all the time.  I can onkly imagine what you're going thru.  Do you have access to her Facebook page?  I try to keep my daughters passwords, but thats difficult since they change them so easily...I will certainly keep my eyes open for her. I am out and about every afternoon in Nashville, Goodlettsville and Madison, including Rivergate mall area.  If it comes to a ground search of some kind, please post it here or email me and I'm there!  Not sure what else I can do, but if you think of anything, let me know.

16. I have a couple of the 511 vests and while I like them, theyt arent really tactical and  they are definitely not for concealed carry, lol, as they scream I got a gun!  They make a less obvious vest but it dont really carry much it looks like,.
17. It's George Bush's fault!
18. I have a CZ P-01.  Great gun.  Im anxious to see a CZ P-09 that i just read about.  Full size version of the P-07 with 19 plus rounds.  http://cz-usa.com/products/view/P-09Duty/
19. Everything I have read indicates thet the administration is going out of its way to make things lok worse to citizens in an effort to get us to push our congressmen...I saw where there is a pulloff on the highway even that was closed by rangers so people couldnt see Mt Rushmore...sheesh, theyre closing areas that shouldnt even be affected by the shutdown...
20. Welcome!  I lived in Michigan's UP fora short while back inthe 80's-I was stationed at K.I. Sawyer AFB near Marquette...I hated the base (it was SAC) and the chickenshit outfit I was in, but I did love the rural UP and even the weather, having come there from Greenland.
21. yes, tomorrow...
22. France?  Thought it was Swiss?
23. Well...let me see....rubbing chin, it all started back in the first grade.  My dad, despite my mom's objections, gave me my first pocket knife.  It was a Case folding knife, probably small but at the time it seemed huge.  My mom said he's too young, he'll cut himself.  I said Mom, no, I’m almost all growed up.  Ill be fine.  I know how use a knife and be responsible!  SO i got it...looked at it a few times then went out to play. Ran into the neighbor kid and I said  Hey look what i got, a pocketknife!  I then took it out and opened it and wanted to show it off so I started throwing the thing up in the air and then catching it it my hand.  The other kid was really impressed until the time it came down blade first and sliced my palm open! LOL, well I couldn’t very well go back inside and let my mom see that she was right and I was wrong, so as it was fall, there were leaves all over the ground.  I used about a thousand of them to sop up the blood and finally got it to stop bleeding eventually.  Now I’m 58 years old and that IS STILL ONE OF THE BIGGEST SCARS I HAVE!  I’m pretty certain it needed stitches, but there was no way I was gonna let my mom see that, lmao.   And I have continued to make similarly stupid decisions up to the present, lol.  You’d think a person would learn belter after a while.
24. Well...if it's on the internet, then it's true, right...?     lol
25. Although I have read of him before, its always nice to see stuff like this again.  Thanks for sharing!
