  1. Will that mar what bluing is around the rust? or should I not be to worried about that?
  2. OK, here are some photos. I need to give her a good clean and lube then see how well she shoots. I love how they take-down. I didnt realize at first that they did. Not too shabby for an Octogenarian. Rust on the barrel "Patina" on the receiver.
  3. I couldn’t wait to post so pics will be forthcoming. A buddy gave (sold me at a great price) me his dad’s 1936 Winchester Model 63 (which was left to him) It appears to be in good functioning condition. Most of the bluing if off the receiver (I think the term is “Patina”) The barrel still has some bluing, but it does have a spot or two of rust on the surface. I will need advice on how I should handle the rusty patches. It is missing the rear dovetail sight but has a Marble Tang Peep Sight. The rear dovetail sight may have been removed years ago. The wood stock and forend are in good condition for an 86 year old rifle. Definitely has wear and marks in the wood “Character”. I will get photos uploaded when I get home.
  4. Are you sure you don’t have a 44mag/44spec you might be willing to part with?
  5. If you get the Nashville direction, I will take it.
  6. Second favorite movie (after Outlaw Josey Wales)
  7. Bump. Someone needs a fresh top for the winter
  8. Love the handle design on those. I was a little slow on the uptake this morning. Maybe next time.
  9. Still looking. I thought I had found one, but the they guy thinking about selling it took it to the range to shoot and decided to keep it.
  10. That was fast. Still hoping to find a lever in 44mag/special
  11. Is that because the additional 4” of barrel length is wasted on a pistol caliber? I’m looking at a Rossi 92 stainless steel in 44mag with a 20” barrel
  12. Just waiting for Vandy to ruin UT’s season with a win at home Thanksgiving weekend.
  13. Ok, 16” or 20” barrel on a 44mag lever action? (And anyone have one to let go?)
  14. Looking for a lever action in 44mag. Preferably a side gate loading one. It doesn’t need to be pretty, just functional. (On a budget)
  15. Does this have a 5.56 barrel or a .223 Wylde barrel?
  16. A sight pusher is the way to go. Kahrman let me borrow his a couple times before I got one.
  17. The 15-rnd mags fit flush while the 17rnd mags need a small spacer. It’s not a compact like a p365(xl). It is more like a SIG P320. They shoot great (I have one). and Bump for a great TGO’er
  18. I will email them to myself. On an iPhone it will ask what size file to send. Pick a relatively small file size then send the email. Go to the email and save the photo. Now you have a small size size copy of the photo.
