  1. I would be curious to see the statistics for others forms of death over those years. Vehicle related, others seasonal illness related deaths (flu, etc.) and other things that might be down in 2020 due to lock-downs and social distancing, etc.
  2. I picked it up off of Gunbroker back in late 2019.
  3. I know some folks on the list don’t care for the “distressed” look on a new firearm but I think it looks sweet. I just have an ATI GI model but it shoots nice and on target. One day I hope to get a WWII 1911. Nothing fancy and perfect. Something I can shoot and not worry about it’s “vintage”.
  4. 1911. Doesn’t really matter which exact one. I just love the gun. Not always that practical to carry, does not hold many rounds, it pretty low-tech by some of today’s standards. But I have always loved the 1911. I don’t carry a 1911, and I love my P365XL/507K for that. But there is something about the 1911 that is just so….. right.
  5. There is a full size new Bronco at Wyatt Johnson Ford on Thompson Lane in Nashville. I saw it today as I passed by.
  6. Nope. From what I have read, the only way to kill a COVID Zombie is a shot to the
  7. Usually my wife tells me.
  8. But revolvers are always better than automatics
  9. I mean 1911s are the best
  10. 1911’s are the worst.
  11. Heat Stroke, water moccasin, and tornado are not yet on my list. I hope to avoid all three.
  12. It could be that the victim was found outside the home. If that is the case, then it might be harder to justify the shooting. Maybe witnesses indicated that the homeowner escalated the situation. The report did not give enough info.
  13. So I came up with this on the first one. The color is Disruptive Grey (but with a bit more black added). The stock was sanded down and shot with graphite black, as was the forward assist and ejection cover. then I built a 300BO and did the reverse of the mix. 70% graphite black with 30% tungsten.
  14. I find I have to email photos to myself on my iPhone so I can reduce the photo size from several MB to around 80-120kb to post photos directly.
  15. That happened to you too?
  16. Having to wear masks outside the facilities when in a group/vehicle was a bit of a pain this past year. At least if you are vaccinated, you don’t have to do that now.
  17. Being a major infrastructure/power producer, they can’t afford an outbreak In a facility. They have to keep the lights going.
  18. I did live there from ‘94 to ‘99
  19. No offense, but someone was smoking crack.
  20. I ended up with a lot of old 22short, 22LR and some 22Long from my father in law. I don’t know if they are still good, but the boxes are cool. Remington, Western, Peter’s and Sears and Roebuck I just wish his 22LR revolver and old Marlin 22 Rifle hadn’t been stolen some years ago.
  21. M1 Carbine?
  22. Odd (or interesting) that they chose the weapon most recognized as associated with organized crime…..
