The Holosun Store -- buyer beware
Snaveba replied to Whisper's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Optics Planet might be slow, but I have also had good luck ordering some parts. Just know that if it is not on stock it might take months. Midway, Primary Arms, Brownell’s, and Natchez Shooter’s Supply all have been better on getting the items to you quickly. -
But you can try to beat it out with a 2x4
-
Then once more for good measure.
-
That was funny?

I suppose one scenario could be that just as you leave a cold building and go out into a hot humid exterior, you are attacked and need to draw your weapon. In that case you may have a fogged lens. But you are probably more likely to need your weapon to defend yourself or others in a situation where your optic has already had time to acclimate to the temp/humidity.

My 16 yo daughter was not amused.

He may not have instigated the situation, but he sure responded poorly. Even if she started it and then got out to film and spin the story her way, she got what she wanted when he f-ed up and brandished his pistol.

Oh for the Glory Days….
-
Or if you do, smile

True. But he should not have displayed the weapon unless he truly feared for his life. He could have kept it just below the window. I think it is pretty obvious he was trying to be intimidating. Does castle doctrine extend to out of state folks?

The bottom one was my first, picked up in March last year. The second was in February this year.

For the price of the Taurus, Optic and Glock 19, you could have been into a P365XL with a nice optic. However I might be biased as I like SIGs and don’t really like Glocks.

PW Arms imported my Italian Police turn in 92S. Sweet looking rifle.

I do worry about uninformed or uneducated folks deciding to use deadly force to protect their property. It seems like that is/was often depicted on TV and in movies. Someone is stealing a car or some other piece of property and the owner pulls their gun to stop them or shoot at them. IRL (at least in Tennessee) someone is going to jail, and it is not just going to be the thief.

Oh for the days of the Full Moon Bluegrass Festival. Not the one that was at Percy Warner Park, but the one back in the 80’s on the farm off Old Hillsboro Road. Those were some good times and GREAT music. John Prine would even show up on occasion.

Nope. That is for handburgers
-
Yes they did. Both game 2 and 3.

Restrict NEW members from sending private messages?
Snaveba replied to TGO David's topic in Feedback and Support
What ever happend with this idea? I was PMed last night by a new member who was a scammer (Danial12). I was not the only one contacted to let us know that “Alex in Washington” had what we needed. -
Same. Said Alex has a BCG I want for sale. I just let TGO David know before I saw this thread.

The extractor is a funny story. About 2.5 years ago, my dad and a couple friends went in on a 9-frame motor driven extractor instead of the old hand crank 4-frame they were using. I don’t recall where they were getting it, but when my dad went to pick it up, they could not find the 9-frame unit (that was on sale). The guy let them grab get a 15-frame unit instead. When they got home and unpacked it, it was a 21-frame unit. Deal of the century. I think they paid like $600.

I pulled 7 supers off today and extracted about 15 gallons of honey. I probably had another 3 supers worth of partially capped honey. I will pull honey off again late July.
-
Here is the 92S with new grips.

I am pulling some of my frames on Sunday. Probably 48-56 medium frames worth. The rest I will get mid July. I will give an update Sunday evening.
