Picked up a TX 22 standard model years ago at a gun show for 160.00 I was expecting lots of problems but I took a chance and went to range and was surprised how well it shot only a few issues mine likes CCI. Or Blazer ammo to run smoothly. Painted front sight with orange model paint so I can pick it up easily also I learned the slide is aluminum and the guide rod is steel and the rough edge would rub on the slide so I had it smoothed down. great little gun I would love to get a T. REX

Well got to range today with new grips on Ruger mark 4 22/45 new grips look great grip have finger grooves that fit my hand but these are not aggressive grips. If shooting in hot weather and hand sweats this maybe a problem one issue is grips are a lot thicker and it’s hard to get to the mag. Release. It will release mag but it needs to be longer now looking at aftermarket mag release always something lol

Hi. I just went thru this the contractor that built my home used flat paint through the house. Paint in bathroom looked bad because of moisture and steam had a professional painter come out he immediately said they used flat. Sanded and Repainted same color but used semi gloss that’s the solution it worked for me
