Nationwide school "walk out" for gun control laws
gregintenn replied to tercel89's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
My son said they were offered an opportunity to attend a meeting, or whatever you'd call it, regarding the protests today. If you attended this meeting, you were required to write an essay about it. He said there weren't many takers. -
Nationwide school "walk out" for gun control laws

I've yet to meet a gun ban type person willing to have an honest conversation. They want to take away my freedom. I want to be left alone. I do not see any common ground there. I'm tired of talking about it or hearing about it. I've done nothing wrong, and for a variety of reasons, it seems my fellow countrymen seem to want to label me all sorts of negative things. -

My kid hasn't mentioned it. -
It seems to me that penetration is the most desirable characteristic in most handgun rounds. Most everyone else seems worried about expansion. Expansion is only good once it gets where it needs to go.

230 grain fmj atop 5 grains of Bullseye; just like John Browning and Uncle Sam intended.

Right, but unless I'm mistaken, Florida's House, Senate, and Governor are all majority Republican. It isn't like California. Rick Scott was a businessman prior to being elected Governor. Much like Trump. I thought outsiders are what we are after. Hell, the last few months, Democrats are looking more like the friend of the gun owner than Republicans.

You don't have to "arm" teachers. All you'd need to do is pull down the no guns signs.

You sound like our kind of guy. Welcome aboard.

Welcome to the forum. I wish we had a local gunsmith.

Thanks. I haven't seen him here and was just wondering about him. I guess I should go to a gun show sometime. Glad to hear he's still kicking.

You know....the reloading guy from Ashland City.

I laughed because I've heard that more than once. One time she told me I never listen to hear. I told her if I did, I'd never get to do anything else. She didn't like that much.

$300 sounds a bit steep for a metal barrel, but I love the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. Looks like it works! Yummmmm!

I do not think a pocket pistol should have a safety; let alone two. Point and click is what I'm looking for, so I'll stick with my LCP.

Yeah. I don't drive anything I could trade even for an original Swiss P210. I'm just looking for something fun to shoot. Those old ones are a work of art for sure.

Thanks! Did you handle it? Does it seem to be of high quality? Anybody here have a suggestion of another current production 9mm target pistol I should be looking at as well? (Before you type it, I'm sure your Glock is awesome, but I do not want one.) I wish Smith and Wesson still produced the 952. I'd love one, but they've become quite the unicorn.

I bought my first one because I heard Obama say I didn't need one. The fastest way to get me to do anything is to tell me I can't.

Best answer I can come up with. I didn't care for them either. I still don't like the way the look. I've bought em, built em, tinkered with em, ect. I've yet to shoot one that wasn't as accurate as any bolt rifle I've ever fired. I've also yet to fire one that wasn't 100 percent reliable. Think of them as tinker toys for adults. YOu can take em apart, put em back together, and dress em up any number of ways to suit your fancy.
