  3. It was similar in size. My old one had a heavy duty, front plate, hinges and frame. The locking mechanism was similar to a safe, with 5 bolts (3 on sides and 1 at top and bottom).

  5. The one I had before was about $200. I think it was a "wall vault" made by one of the safe companies. It wasn't super high quality, but had decent hinges, bolts and construction. It held two - three long guns.

  8. Guys, Not sure if these are made any longer, but I need a long gun vaut that will fit in-wall. Looking for something that will fit between studs, but cannot be deeper than a standard wall. I want combination locks, not keys.

My other pass time is spent in a modded Mazdaspeed Miata that's well setup for the twisties but has enough engine to surprise folks. ;) Just wondering who is a speed freak and what you're into? Mark

  19. I was looking at the Buds site a few days ago. I like the long, octagonal barrel with case hardened receiver, but the '16" round barrel makes more sense. Was hoping to put my hands on one first. PS: thanks to both of ou guys!
