Look what just arrived. I've been wanting to get ahold of one of the TGO Protech knives since the very beginning and now I regret not figuring out how to do it before now. Holy crap is this knife beautiful, well made and BIG (well, at least to me, of course my EDC blade is a SOG Slim Jim.) I'm gonna have to be careful, the action hits with such force I can feel it in my wrist and all the way up to the elbow. I'm already very much in love.

Virginia to end reciprocity with 25 states

+1 to all that get it that retaliatory action against the citizens of VA wouldn't accomplish anything of merit. You don't respond to douchebaggery by acting like a douchebag yourself. -

No, but they do appear to be making them. -

I think it may have to do with certain misdemeanor convictions being an automatic disqualifier, like first offense drunk driving. -

Of course, now that I think about it, VA is a "gold star" open carry state with full state preemption laws. Might as well add Virginia next to the range on list of places that it is reasonable to open carry. Hell, until a few years ago you had the "Virginia tuck" where folks would tuck their shirts behind their guns in places that served alcohol because before the law changed you couldn't conceal in one, but you could open carry. Methinks this should lead to a rise in out of state visitors open carrying, if only to annoy the state's AG. -

Including TN. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/virginia-politics/va-attorney-general-mark-herring-delivers-blow-to-gun-rights-advocates/2015/12/21/d72ce3d0-a821-11e5-9b92-dea7cd4b1a4d_story.html -
I actually really want this. I will send you a PM when I stop for the night.

I think the offering of refunds is a pretty smart move. It helps build goodwill AND it will help dry up the secondary market. That will stop folks from dumping their units for dirt cheap thereby further decreasing demand and exerting downward pressure on MSRP once they recover (and they will) from this bit of negative publicity.

WANT! -
How often is it that when attacks happen that many of us right here on this message board ask where are the moderate Muslims decrying these attacks? We want to know where they are when the bad things happen, but yet we judge them just as harshly when they do come out and say hey that's not cool. I guess they're just damned it they do, damned if they don't. Apparently Farooq was an employee of the group that was having the Christmas party. This may very well be an incidence of workplace violence disguised to look like a terrorist attack. The reality is a lot of information is still coming out very quickly and very little of it has been confirmed as fact. Just as I said to folks earlier in the week about the Planned Parenthood shooting that they needed to hold off and wait for the facts to come out, I will say the same thing here. You can either be a person who seeks the truth, or you can be a person that engages in demagoguery, but not both.

In all fairness, the remains were moved from Elmwood cemetery to their present location when the park was created.

My late stepfather was a guard at the state prison in Henning. They used the Minis there and imagine they still do across the state.

Mini-14s are pretty popular with a lot of LE agencies, especially out California way. They provide the same firepower as an AR, but they don't look as scary as an AR.

Inter-webs. That's why I didn't put anything down as a certainty.

I've seen a report that they have released one name of a potential suspect. That suspects name says that this is a Jihadi related attack.

By the way, you're a jerk. Since I looked at mine and now know it is a little low, it's been bugging the crap out of me. I'm gonna have to take after it with a pin punch myself now. -

Having run quite a few 4473s, I can say that OS is on the money (as usual) with the legalities here. -

Just stripped down my M&P9c and it looks exactly the same as yours. I've had this pistol for several years now and have had zero issues. So the pin position as it is does not affect function. I wouldn't stress about it. -

Nope. Not worried. I understand that statistically speaking I am more likely to get murdered by a cop than a terrorist. I'll save my fear mongering for something more likely. Don't know what that is yet.
