  1. I stand corrected, and happily so.
  2. Still can’t use NODs. You can spotlight with a landowner waivers, but no NODs. They’re not allowed for any hunting use at all. I get it for standard big game. But in the case of hogs we aren’t talking fair chase, we are talking eradication. If we are already allowing night hunting in the use of bait, then why can’t we use NODs and thermal. It’s a dumb prohibition.
  3. https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/remington-asset-bids-revealed-ruger-gets-marlin-vista-gets-remington-ammo-franklin-armory-gets-bushmaster/ There is a lot of interesting info in who bought what. A real estate group bought out the mainline Remington business. I don’t know what that means for it or the Ilion plant. JJE Capital Holdings, (PSA) got DPMS, H&R, Stormlake and AAC. PSA is now in the suppressor business. Ruger bought Marlin. Hopefully they can L return Marlin to quality again. Also, Ruger is now in the lever action game. Franklin Armory (binary trigger folks) bought their Bushmaster brand, so I expect that to see a revival. Barnes was bought by Sierra. That’s a good match.
  4. When it comes to hog hunting, I really wish they’d open up the use of NODS.
  5. No.
  6. Yep. I’ve heard them before. Didn’t realize they were out of Knox. That’s pretty cool.
  7. If you’re into heavy music, these cats are phenomenal.
  8. Wow. It was in stock when I posted the link. $1249
  9. Well, they said they had returned to the civilian market. I don’t think you can get anymore back on the market than an email blast from PSA. https://palmettostatearmory.com/colt-le-carbine-5-56x45mm-ar-15-rifle-black-cr6920.html
  10. First batch is 10k units, but I’m sure there will be more.
  11. Are you counting us interacting here as meeting?
  12. “Tackled” “Detained”
  13. I’ve fallen down a Russian Hard Bass hole. I have a strong desire to don an Adidas track suit, grab an AK and a bottle of cheap vodka and Slav squat the day away.
  14. I want folks to be responsible with firearms as well. I don’t want the government to be able to arbitrarily decide what that looks like. Just the same as with speech. Folks are responsible for their actions with a firearm or their speech. Prior restraint by the government is an abomination and anathema to liberty and the individual’s rights.
  15. This argument doesn’t sound any less ridiculous in this context than when the Bloomberg shills try to use it to claim that the 2A only covers muskets. If you have to jump through hoops and ask for government permission to exercise a right, it isn’t a right.
  16. Sounds like a good reason to keep it. There’s a hard truth so many folks never seem to understand. (Not saying that’s you.) Aftermarket upgrades to vehicles like engine or suspension mods result in near zero ROI when you go to sell the vehicle. If you’re handy with a wrench it’s almost always a better idea to return the vehicle to stock and sell the parts to someone who is actually looking for them.
  17. I have a Baofeng A-58 inbound. Went with that model because it has a different attachment interface that’s sealed against water/dust.
  18. Sounds like somebody’s been workin for the railroad all the live-long day.
  19. Me too, sir. I’d like to be next after TripleGGG.
