Anyone have any first hand experience with this cartridge? Pet loads etc. I've got an old Rem 721 out to J.E.S. currently getting rebored & chambered to it because, well, I don't have one & I occasionally like to pretend it's 1912 & hogs are elephants or buffalo.

Good job guys..... $105 on the Amazons. Lowrance HOOK2 Fish Finder https://a.co/d/3Ed6PmY

That's some photoshop BS right there. . . . . You've NEVER looked that happy.

I really don't like promoting them, but you won't find a better deal anywhere right now. It's been posted all over the kayak forums lately. I bought one & can highly recommend it.. https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/632852049?irgwc=1&sourceid=imp_XMlWp5wUQxyOWYbwUx0Mo38VUkDz6TX2TTjIRU0&veh=aff&wmlspartner=imp_150372&clickid=XMlWp5wUQxyOWYbwUx0Mo38VUkDz6TX2TTjIRU0&sharedid&affiliates_ad_id=568823&campaign_id=9383

Strip it & sell individual parts on Ebay. You'd be amazed how much you can make from 'useless' gun parts, if you're honest about their condition. I've parted out several TC/CVA sidelock muzzleloaders that were beyond repair (obstructed or rusted out barrels etc...) that I've picked up for basically nothing, & turned 2 or $300 profit for the sake of a few trips to the Post Office.

No..... no you don't.

A lot more expensive than buying a shorter shotgun, if it's done properly. Threading for chokes is the hard part & there aren't many people will do it. If you leave it as a completely open, cylinder choke, it'll basically be useless.

Recommendation: Echo 3 armory, Chapel Hill

$140 to pull the barrel, ream out the chamber, put it all back together & test it out. 8 weeks from drop off to pick up. -
Not even slightly. I believe it was developed in 1893. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/6.5×55mm_Swedish

6.5x55 & .358 win covers around 90% of my hunting needs.

I just picked up my Ruger American .223, after having the chamber rebut to .223 Wylde & the throat/freebore lengthened. He did an absolutely fantastic job. I was warned that it would take about 8 weeks to get it done & he was 100% to his word, to the day. Very reasonably priced, really nice, knowledgeable Smith & someone I will DEFINITELY do business with again, no question.

It's a non existent, pinko, leftist buzz-term that has no actual meaning, coined by an ignoramus on camera.... making himself & everyone after associated with the term look like a clueless nerk? *shrugs

If you're looking at a 1-4, take a look at one of these & don't be put off by the bottom dollar price point. https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-1-4x24mm-illuminated-riflescope-pa14x Hands down better than the Vortex. Better glass, better reticle, fantastic illumination (ie: not bright enough to wash out or flare) absolutely BOMB proof build & reliability (I've got 3 & 2 of them have taken ungodly abuse over the years) they just do not lose zero. Ever drop a scoped gun & had to re-zero? Not with these. My .308 fell off my tailgate onto a gravel driveway. Banged up the scope badly & it STILL shoots to point of aim.

Danger Close. True story about the RAR 6btn in the battle of Long Tan in Vietnam. It's an excellent watch.

Great. Now my pants are all tight at the front. I'm off to find a waiting list to put myself on. Back in a tick..... -
Nope! Correct side of the equator though.

Here's an odd one for ya. 10 points if you can name the firearm & movie (no googling!)

I guess I'll be driving my '97 fBIG50 until they quit making parts for them. 350k on the clock & I'm starting to baby it a little more (76 on the interstate instead of 79. Officer)

You know, I'd really, really like to get a hold of one of those cheap, $30 Rohm RG .22 revolvers & ream out the barrel with a 6mm drill bit to make it a smooth bore. I reckon that would be a bunch of yucks in a barn full of rats, with .22 shot! If anyone wants to part with one, I'd buy it just for that!
