  1. I have no idea of the charge he might make, but you might check with Sam Hoster at Custom Defense on South Water street.
  2. That's been my mode for quite a few years. The last two movies I saw in a theater were 2012 and the truly awful Keanu Reeve version of The Day the Earth Stood Still.
  3. Been itching for a 38 super. I haven't seen the Rock Island model. I'll check on it. Thanks.
  4. Agreed. I bought mine when they first hit the market, just because it was a cheaper pistol. I paid 249 thru on of the online distributors then. I bought a jewel for rhinestone pricing. The TP9sa has been a great shooter. Fantastic trigger, short audible reset that's so easy to manage it's unbelievable. Grip angle is awesome and the feel is perfect. I'd like to say I converted Steelharp to it, lol, but I really don't remember if he bought before or after we got together with mine. Either way, the Canik would be a great choice for a high capacity, easy shooting, "plastic" 9, Leroy.
  5. ICE..ICE..baby. Couldn't resist. lol
  6. I truly lol'd at loud at this comment!!
  7. You are not the first to tell me that. I've ignored all the others...and now I'll ignore you. So there!
  8. I reiterate. What drug is he on? lol Should be done in red. Deep Bama red.
  9. Wish I could afford another! Got mine at SMGW.
  10. Orange??? What drug is he on?
  11. A little higher than when I bought my first RI, but more people have discovered the value in them.
  12. My very personal, humble opinion. Rock Island. You can get pistols from the standard GI level up to some very nice models with features like see on 1000+ pistols. All for about 600. Disclaimer. I do own Sigs, Springfield, Smith, and Rock Island 1911 pistols.
  13. Oh My Stars and Garters! (Points for Id'ing that reference.) I'm way lighter than that. A couple or 3 10/22 models, and M&P 22 and that's about it. A few too many 22 handguns though. lol And still wanting a Smith 617.
  14. Thank you, sir. All the best wished for you and yours too. Merry Christmas to you!
  15. Make me a ridiculously high offer. Even have about 900 rounds with it. lol I do need to tumble the rounds though to make them pretty again, as they are a bit discolored from sitting for almost 20 years.
  16. Ran across a 45 version last spring at a decent price. Foolish me hasn't shot it yet.
  17. Someday. lol
  18. Yes, that's what I found. Just wondered if there were any pricing variations out there. Thanks.
  19. No...but sure would like to. It sure looks impressive!
  20. Did you happen to notice the price?
  21. I did to! Excited to see it in person.
  22. GOA has been getting a yearly donation/membership from me. It's a stretch with some of my charitable donations, but worth it. I just cannot seem inclined to send anything more to NRA recently. Been an NRA member for over 25 years, and a Life Member for 5. But the constant mailings to upgrade and I just can't do it.
  23. Keep an old buddy in mind if it does. Please, pretty please.
