I have found that to be the case. Many times since I've been here.

OMG!!! Those EVIL people actually showed kids shooting those horrendous things! And even put a Knife in one set!! LOL!!

All attempts at humor aside...I strongly believe a work program for prisoners is the way to go. It worked until we got soft-hearted and worried about their feelings.

I had a mental tally of who I thought would offer to help out first. I got 2 right. Waiting on the third to chime in. lol

Well we could take a lesson from Escape from L.A. California is all but lost anyway...wall it off and drop all the problems into LA and 'Frisco. They pretty much control things now anyway.

All I can say is "you rock!" Dad! Great thing to do.

Just shows that even among we "like minded" people, there are differences of opinion on how to treat crime/criminals as it happens and what to do with said individuals after the fact. I personally am for stricter enforcement of existing laws. We have enough already written to cover just about every crime known to man and a few we probably haven't thought of. Catch the criminals, try them quickly, put them in prisions. Not federal day camps. Work programs for the days...yes! Penalties/retribution should and must be enforced to teach that there are consequences to actions. Education and traing programs? Sure. But make the inmates earn the privilage. Show them how it will be after release. Both if they are idiots and knuckleheads that will likely be back shortly; and how life could be for them by accepting responsibility for self and in many cases...families they let down by doing stupid things. Punishments should and must be enforced to show how to live and how quickly that life can be changed or extinguished by personal choices. Hardcase? Yes, I lean that way. But having a father and 2 uncles that worked the Tn State Prison systems for years will tend to give you a different view than that of the "reform the system" people. As always...Just My Opinion.

Joe, I had one in my hands for a short time. It was impressive. Never fired it. Wanted the money out of it instead. NOW I find myself regretting it. lol I have fired a 920 and really like it. Felt good, better than a Glock, more on a par with one of my Caniks to me. Better than anything else I have or have owned...maybe. Lots of people seem to love them. TGO David, phiferran, and my sometimes shooting buddy Corey as examples. I wouldn't mind owning one (again), and might even shoot it. LOL. But you know me and keeping things for very long. Looking for another to just fall into my lap again.

Just had to gig you a bit on this. lol. I love my Shield Plus, have a Smith that you and Nate both touched and moded a bit, and your (first) P10c. Considered buying a CSX yesterday, but still waiting on a SA35. lol I guess I'm just fawning over your choices a bit. I've found that my limited knowledge has been enhanced through the 2 of you. Back on point, ALL manufacturers sometimes have problems, and sadly you encountered a doozy. I've had to use Smith's warranty 2 times in the last 15 years. Both problems were resolved within 2 weeks for me. However, times have changed and people as well. GOOD quality is expected, but not always found at the purchaser's choice. Well, the gist of this rambling missive is just to say I feel for your pain, and hope it gets back to you quickly.

Or maybe a Walther, a Sig, a Canik...even a Taurus? LOL!
-
Pardon my ignorance please...but isn't 7.62x25 a European/Commie Block caliber? Like the Tokarov? That would be a very hot little round for the Glocks. Sort of one-upping the .357Sig? All this is moot if it's just another tease, but might be an interesting combo. Edit...HandsomeRob beat me to it. I should read the whole thread before commenting. lol

I"M IN! Take my money!

To be perfecty honest...I really cannot pick just one. A S&W Model 19, a 1911 9mm, or a CZ P 01. But force me and currently I'd pick my PDP compact.

30 seems to be the norm around me.

Had a 52 for a while. Sold it for a small boatload, well a dinghy anyway, of money! Great Pistol. Pain in the patootie to disassemble/clean/reassemble. For me anyway.

I laughed when I saw this! I Love It!

Did that at an auction about 10 years back. A set of Colt Commerative 1911s...WWII pistols. Gorgeous guns. Bought at a good, but not great price. Sadly, I took an offer on them later. Wish I'd kept them.

Yes. Definitely a second safe. Not a replacement.

Well...that was interesting. James Reeves comments lead me to believe it might just be a strong Shield Plus competitor. Better trigger(? somewhat wonky reset), seems to fire faster(subjective), lighter with same or better capacity. Seems to have good possibilites. Will have to see and feel one in action.

As a fan of the 32 acp, I can see some interest. Not saying I carry a 32 fulltime, but occassionaly I will slide one into a pocket. But I question it. Could be used in 9mm mags? What about the barrel? Need a new one I'd think. So a conversion kit someday? Or just a new gun? Lots to have answered, but sort of intrigued by it. Makes me wish I'd kept my Kel-tec.

Brother, you are being stressed beyond belief! Be strong. Take deep breath. Then just scream a couple of times at the top of your lungs! Probably won't do much. But might make you feel better. Man I wish I could help you. You know the shape I'm in, but I'll offer what I can. JLMK.

A buddy just messaged me about getting into trap/skeet shooting and he's looking for this Stoeger. Anyone have one to sell, trade? A line on one? Not looking for a high price model. This would be his entry level shotgun. Personally, I don't think he will go thru with it, but I did say I would ask. Heck if it's cheap...I might!

Thanks. You and mike are more all-seeing than me. I just missed the link.

Thank you mike! I appreciate that. I just didn't see it.
