  1. Outstanding! A man of conviction and character who will act according to his stated beliefs...and do it publically. In spite of possible backlash from the liberal community in his home.
  2. Took the words right out of my mouth... With apologies to Meatloaf for the steal.
  3. I have both. They are not necessarily mutually exclusive of one another. You can have one, or three, of each and still be legal.
  4. Hey, I would've almost preferred that over all the electrodws stuck on me...wait a minute. Maybe that's what it was.
  5. Yeah, pretty much in line with all your comments, guys. We are scheduling another nightime session and I'm going to go in during the day and try to aclimate to one of the forms of masks. The therapist in charge said I would probably do better if I came in and just sat in one of the chairs for a couple of hours and try to relax. Once we get a style settled and I don't run screaming like a raving mainic from the room, we'll go thru the ecectrode set=up and try again. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I need it. The whole thing really doesn't make sense actually. With all I've gone thru and had done to me in the last 4 years; you'd think a grown man would accept putting on a mask without all this drama.
  6. Pardon my lack of knowledge. What's the model in the second picture?
  7. Ranger, thanks for the comments. I wasn't aware of a different type machine. But you pegged my problem. Aside from the claustrophobia, the constant pressure was causing me to panic trying to exhale against it. I'll have a talk with the doc next visit.
  8. Right. As I remember it, seemed most of us either wanted to sting him up or just wondered what all the fuss was about. He just was clumsy enough to get caught doing what every other politico before him had done.
  9. I agree with you mac, on both points. I have owned several 92s and still have a Desert Storm Commerative. But I rarely shot the 92, just wasn't a fit for my hands. Not a negative commentary on the guns, just a personal preference over size and ergonomics.
  10. Good to see some of your comments, guys. Have been diagnosed with it as well. Been thru several nighttime sessions and having a real hard time with the machines in general. It seems that after the last few years of medical problems, I have become, or at least now noticed; that I'm getting very claustrophobic. Masks and respiratory equipment of any kind just seems to send me into a spiral toward a screaming fit. The full face mask is a terror. Nasal pillows and a chin strap only slightly less so. The respiratory dept and doctor are working with me, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to stand this.
  11. Tatally agree with you mike, but it just seems that as we get older, it's very hard to ignore the insanity around us.
  12. Don, it's been said before. But I'll chime in as well. I don't think it's really a matter of "a good and big show" as much as that there are so many promoters out there competing to get the big rep and the best dealers/vendors hooked up with them. This expanding number of promoters/shows with a finite number of locations has led to what we're seeing now...just about a show a week in Tennessee. I'd guess it's probably the same elsewhere. I used to hear that the best shows were in Memphis, Knoxville, Louisville, or wherever...but now seems that they all, with a few exceptions, seem to be pretty much the same. Just way too many promoters going after the few(?) dollars out there.

    Sig P210

Wow. That's an impressive statement. I've heard a lot about the P210, but never been privileged to get near one. Maybe someday I can get the chance to find out for myself.
  14. Ever look at the Sig line for a commander size? Had a little experience with the C3, own an RCS. Have a Colt Officiers and a Springer LWt Loaded Operator. All great alternatives to the Kimber. And no I'm not bashing Kimber's. I've owned 2 of them. The last a Pro Carry II, that I just sold and got another Sig 1911. Just seemed I had a better feel for the others than the Kimber.
  15. I think that's a very good question. I wasn't paying the kind of attention to politics then as I do now, but I don't think Nixon was quite as bad. Sure he did a lot of things that hacked off the Congress and his rivals, up to and including the Watergate Affair, but I don't think he came anywhere near the sheer meglomania of BHO. When a sitting president just decides he can do anything he wants without congressional approval, we've reached a whole new level of power grab.
  16. Yeeaauuupp!
  17. Dang. Pretty close.
  18. CZ 527 and a lot of ammo.
  19. Count me as a +1 on this as well. I'll stop and buy something as well. But if all goes as hoped and we all go in, the managers my be swamped by requests for a visit. As a back-up, visit, buy something, and email Starbucks and express your appreciation in a cordial and meaningful way.
  20. Too much bs. I'd like to hear about the gun. Not the crappy banter from the interviewer who keeps making an ass of himself.
  21. Don't sweat the price. That's a great little pistol. I have several XDs and love them. (As well as the glocks, sigs, colts, etc....)
  22. Absolutely Georgeous!! I love the stainless version. I really would've like my 220 in ss, but you take what you find sometimes.
  23. Alright already. I'm gonna make some tomorrow. Dang you all!
  24. Yes, it does move along pretty rapidly. And Woody Harrelson is a blast in it.
  25. Can we add Kalifornia to that as well?
