  1. Just checked the site. Posted prices are in the 500-800 range. Considering Randall pricing, that's more what I'd expect on a "reworked" custom kinfe. Wish it had been the other pricing though. I'm not much into knives, but that would have gotten me to bite one one. But thanks for posting this, lots of kinfe fans will be interested, I'm sure.
  2. My only experienc with CZ products comes from a CZ Rami 2075 last year. I've only run approximately 100 rounds fo assorted 9mm fmj and a few hollow points thru it, Very good little shooter. Quite accurate for a small short-barreled gun. Recoil is quite nice and fits my small/medium hands nicely. My only issue was with one magazine. I got 2 10(?) rouners and one 15/16 hi-cap with it. Couldn't get the hi-cap to feed worth crap. So put it aside and the other two were flawless. Really haven't shot it enough to give it a fair and true wringing out, but i like the little gun a lot, at least enough to keep it for now.
  3. Apologies to JReedEsq, I misread his post and changed his opinion for him. Just another of my many talents.
  4. I agree with JReedEsq and cannonball, I'm not a fan of RTF Glocks Have a 19/22/30 and have no problems with the grips at all. I find thr RTF really uncomfortable, but that's just my opinion.
  5. Had an EAA Witness in 45 some years back. Steel frame, 5" barrel. Heavy, but solid and accurate. This was one of the early Witness models, quite a bit cheaper in price than todays' line. I understand they make a ful line of guns of high quality for everything from range toys to some really high-end competition guns. Haven't had any personal experience with these later models. Surely someone here knows more about them than I do. Oh, BTW, I sold mine because I got a chance to buy a Colt Anaconda, not because of any problem with it.
  6. Great choice for qualifying. Light. Exceptionally accurate and easy to control. Yeah, I own one. Absloutely love it.

    CZ 75 compact

Check out the CZ Rami 2075. Several variations. Great little 9.
  8. Greg, I've said this before and will say gladly again...You do some really nice work. Those look great. Could you give me a ballparl price on a OWB like the one on the right in the rust(?) like the IWB? Thanks.
  9. Really, really good looking pistol. Makes me think about doing the same to mine.
  10. Too many handguns, a few rifles , and a few shotguns. I find I rarely shoot anything but handgus. But that doesn't stop the appreciation of long guns and even an occasionall purchase of one.
  11. No, it's not posted. Rabbi and John Wall held a small seminar/workshop there last year for 1911 owners.
  12. At least it looks better than the last Walther 22.
  13. I went today and found it wasn't bad. Pretty good crowd. Two rooms in one building on the far left as you enter the grounds. No jerky that I saw. The Armory and Lock and Load from Lebanon and Columbia respectively; were the only Gun Stores that I saw or at least recognized. Seemed to be the typical mis of Guns, Knives, ammo and accessories we are used to. If you don't have to drive a long way, I'd give it a look.
  14. Had an LCP for about6 months. Maybe 200 rounds thru it. No problems. Not a target gun, but very accurate for such a short barrel. The CTC laser is a great option for it. Bought mine as a package deal. Love it! Set laser to follow sights and adjusted for about 30 feet. Work great for me. Point of aim and point of impact are as good as I can get holding a small gun with a long trigger. All in all, I like it much better than the Keltec I had before.
  15. I wish you'd stop with the 22 builds. You are killing me. I just bought a new Ruger 22/45 with the threaded barrel and a cheap Sig optic. Going to play with it first, then try to as some good parts. And getting it together for a starter effort on a can. It'll be my first NFA deal. I hope I survive. And looks like another really shapr build that you did.
  16. I'm sorry for your loss. I can really say I understand. My wife and I moved into Inglewood in April of 2003. The first weekend in the house we woke up on Saturday morning to find five trees down in the yard, behind the garage and on the hillside beside the house. Thankfully there was no damage to the house, just to the garage. Since then, we've had at least 2 or 3 trees down a year. We've been blessed by that anyway. I see you have a small creek or spring running thru the yard as well. We have a constant running spring on one side and a runnoff/dry creek bed on the other. You can guess the results of that last May. Again, we were blessed. The house was surrounded by a small lake about 3 feet deep, but didn't get inside. Just destroyed the heat pump and duct work underneath. Took about 10 days with fans and dehumidifiers to dry everything out. Then had to remove mold and mildew and treat the underside of the house. Totalled two vehicles and had to strip the garage and redo the inside. But that's about over now. Of course my wife was terrified by the wind and rain last night; but that's normal for her now. Anyway I'm glad no one was hurt. Just remember the house can be repaired, it may be slow and it may be costly. But you and your family are safe. God Bless. On a ligher note, I like your avatar. An X-men fan I would guess. If so, this will probably make you ill--20000+ comics from 1963 to late 1980's were in my garage last year. About 3500 were lost to water damage. Avengers/Action/ and most of the X-titles. But hey, it's ok. I should have gotten rid of them long ago. Again, glad you and yours are alright.
  17. Haven't read it yet, but have enough knowledge of it that it's on my reading list. You're right, should be a vey interesting film.
  18. I agree. Sold one to a friend of mine in a body shop a couple of years ago. He loves it. His first 45. At the time I was really getting into 1911s so I thought it was a good idea. Still like them, but I miss the cougar. Have you seen the new PX4 Storm in 45? Especially the Special Duty version with the threaded barrel. Most interesting little gun. Feels really nice in my hand.
  19. Oh Crap. Now another gun to look at and start planning for. Do like the looks of it, but I think I'll go for a Cougar 8045 first.
  20. Cougar, I believe. Had one till i was talked out of it. Good size and comfortable to shoot in 45.

    Chiappa Rhino

I agree with that. But...it holds very well. Feels very good in a shooting grip. And seems to line up on sights very well. I got a chance to look one over at Eastside Gun Shop some time back and found it rather interesting, looks aside. But not enough interest to purchase. Just too new and different to try on a whim. I'd really like the chance to shoot one sometime.
  22. Good lookin' piece there fella. Good price too. Not having dealt with Bud's before, how did you get it shipped to your door?
  23. Favorite--samoas and tagalongs. In my case, the barricade would have to be to keep me out. I was once the depository for a school choclate bar sale. I think I ate more than we sold.
