Right now it is at close to 83grand. with that much money one can buy really nice 1911's for a whole platoon of Marines.

Customer service is what makes or breaks a bussiness. Well the that 800 plus bucks you can buy yourself another suppressor

I've been away from home since May and I'd say this. The first one Hell No. The others are Oh Hell Yeah! with a +++++ for the hotty with the handgun

A fake one goes for about 100-200 US Dollers this one i was able to taled him down to $1000. Everything looks original and old the stock, barrel and even the lock. The thing with jezails is that none look the same since they were not mass produced but special custom guns for locals who could afford them. Most were rifled as is this one, with long heavy octogonal barrels that made them extremly accurate for their time. I still have no idea how they shot them with those funky stock.

I'm planning to buy this jezail musket and i was wondering if there was someone here who could help me make sure i am not making a mistake. Now i researched this stuff since there are heaps of fakes here in Afghanistan. This one seems original. The lock (flintlock) is Tower probably from a Brown Bess, marking are GR with crown above it and also has the open bottom corwn with arrow through it. The barrel is a beautifully made Damascus with silver and bronze inlays, and a 2 verses of a peom written on top...... I'm planing on taking some pics and posting them. any input would appreciated.

I'd suggest the HK45 or the USP45c, they are booth great handguns, and would shoot great. but that is me i like HK's

If you are right handed, then it is mostlikely your grip. and if you are left handed then mostlikely it is going to be the way you position your finger on the trigger. Either way, you should make sure that the force exerted on the pistol grip from all fingers are equal.

Happy Thanksgiving TGO, have a yummmmy turkey day

I'm not a huge fan of Sig, but i believe the P250 is a well made pistol. I'd go as far as saying that is about only other pistol they got right beside the P210. And since the P210's are somewhat hard and expensive to come by, the SigP250 would be the first sig pistol I'll buy.

I once purchased some ammo from them a few years back, they had pretty good customer service.

a picture would be helpful,l but nothing more than $100.

You asked about the durability of the GP 100. I used to manage a shooting range, out of all the revolvers we had the GP 100 was the only one that did not get sent to factory for rapairs during the 2+ years i worked there. S&W's, Taurus' Freedom Arms or what not they all made a bunch of trips back to factory to rebuild or broken something but not the GP100. That is why when i bought my first revolver it was a GP100.

On another forum top gun supply said they have hundreds of these. No, we have hundreds of these.

I just ordered one of these, they are grade B so it should be a decent shooter. Never was a great fan of squeeze cocker actions but for thise price why not.

For a while I've been having the cravings of getting a double stack 1911 (2011). Just can't figure out which one I'd want to buy. The most apealing one is the STI Tactical 5, Para makes a couple but they just look not as good. It would be great to get something with a couple a calibers/slides. What others do you suggest? STI International - The STI

Tempting as it may sound a place like that, would require a lot of financial backing. And someone who is not so worried about loosing some $$ in the first few years. But if a place like that EVER opens in Nashville i'll be there

I'm not a huge fan of Beretta handguns but i think the PX4 is a superbly made handgun. they shoot accuratley have less felt recoil due to the rotating bbl and are tough as nails. I have personally seen them go through thousands of rounds and still work flawlessly.

In the 90's and early 2000's when i was in promotions were somewhat slow, I was promoted to Sgt at 3years and 6 months but there were lots of Cpl's who re-enlisted and later on were promoted. Also it depended on what MOS you were in, some specially admin ones promoted faster than the ground combat elements like mine. when i was a PFC there were Sgt's with close to 10 + years and not because they were ****bags but becasue promotions were slow.

Active duty from 1996-2003, one combat tour in Afghanistan and one in Iraq, and now serving as a contractor in Afghanistan.

I guess i have to wiat and see which one i wanna go with once i am back. right now i have my sights set on a couple of different toys, we'll see Thanks for the offers to let me shoot your rifles, hopefully i can get around doing that.

So I've been depolyed to Afghanistan and have not visited here for ages. Been wanting to buy a rifle once i come home for vacation, and can not make up my mind on what i want. been thinking about the SCAR or the ACR, but wanted to know which one would be better. right b4 i left i had a chance to briefly check them both at G&L. like the feel and finish of the SCAR, and was shocked by how loose the mag fit in the ACR (not sure if that plagues all ACRs or not) I do however like the vesitality of the ACR. I want to know from the folks who own either and how they feel about them. The internet is super slow here and i really don't have much time to set and search, being away for so long should be a great indicator.
