1.   Nice. Your wort chiller looks better than the one I bought.
2.   I've built 3 from them with no issues. Just built one a couple days ago.
3. I did a 5 gallon batch in a 6.5 gallon carboy and still had spillage with an airlock attached, I can't imagine a 5gal bucket ending well. Replaced the airlock with a blow off tube yesterday. The blow off tube is just some 5/16" line ran through a carboy bung, the other end resting in a vessel of water.
4.   Yeah I think my yeast starter did pretty well. Blow off tube is rigged up now. I bought a 6.5 gal ale pale but I just used it for measuring and transferring between the brew kettle and mash tun.   I put in a solid 6 hours yesterday doing an all grain batch. I don't even know if this one will be good but I already want to do another.
5. I don't think I quite got 5 gallons of wort. That is a 6.5 gal carboy, I will move it to a 5 gal carboy for secondary fermentation in a few days. I got some hose and will rig up a blow off tube when I get home.
6. I didn't get the OG I had hoped for, but I've got some very active fermentation. A little too active.
7. Found a place to buy it: http://www.etsy.com/listing/124996614/bhut-jolokia-ghost-salt-brine?ref=shop_home_active
8. I did a Mr Beer kit once, if that counts. Figured if I was going to do it I'd do it right. Got a 5 gal corny for the kegerator. Easier than bottling. Yeast starter is underway.
9. Ouch. I gotta wonder if The Walking Dead has driven up the prices on those.
10. UPS man has almost everything I need for an all grain brew. Found a recipe for a Dogfish Head 90 min IPA, hope it's at least close. Need to go by All Seasons for some glass carboys.
11. .223 Varmint Grenades should do the trick for fox/coyote.
12.   Thanks for the info. I'll pop it on another lower I guess.
13. Got a Noveske 8.2" barrel on backorder from DSG. Need to order the LaRue handguard and a muzzle device and I'll be all set.
14. I got an order in from JoeBob last week, think I'm off to a good start.
15. Not quite off work yet, most likely going to get a Good People IPA or two on the way home.
16.   No way, looking for 8.2" myself. AIM Surplus has some 8.5" Ranier barrels at a good price. Rather have the pinned gas block if I can get it.
17.
Well when I can find(and afford) my Noveske barrel I'll let you know. ;)
You don't want that Noveske garbage. ;) /JediMindTrick I cant find one in stock either.
18.   I have a Dillon and like it. Still need to buy myself a reamer though.
19.   I'd hate to have to order another set, that'd just be aweful...
20.   1. Rather be hit with a 9mm at 1050fps  than .223 at 3000fps.   2. The one 9mm AR conversion I shot had more recoil than I would have thought. .223 isn't exactly a hard recoiling round.   3. From the tests I've seen, you're less likely to get over penetration with .223 than a pistol round.   4. Sure, if you're casting bullets.   5. 300 BLK, which you can use cast bullets for.
21. I haven't had an issue with taking deer using .223. The two I have shot were both through the lungs. I will be building an SBR in .300BLK and will use it for deer hunting. I will be loading my own ammo. Plenty of people use 30-30 and I suppose .300BLK to be it's equal.
22.   Might delay mine, but I've got a pistol buffer tube to get me through. The suppressor hasn't been ordered yet but I have a feeling it will be soon.
