  1. Get a Tac-Sol Paclite upper for the Mk3. That's a spiffy 10/22 ya got there!

    New Rifle

Sounds like the scope IS defective, I'd exchange it. I've been wanting one of those for a couple years for deer hunting. Either that or the Remington 700 SPS Tactical. The 20" barrel is more appealing to me. Maybe it's just because it says tactical on it, I'm a sucker like that! Let's see some groups!
  3. My first preference would be two day carbine, followed by two day pistol.

    S&W M&P 15-22

I got mine last week, took it out shooting on Saturday. It runs like a top and is plenty accurate. It did not like the Remington Golden Bullets at all, wouldn't feed them. Federal Bulk Pack runs just fine. Controls work the same as my AR which is what really sold me on it. I waited to buy one with a threaded barrel and flash suppressor. I intend to put a sound suppressor on it one day, but for now it looks much more evil than those without a flash suppressor .
  5. I ordered one from Optics Planet on Monday morning and it is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. $149.99 and free shipping.

    glock 23!

You'll shoot your leg off kid. J/K. My Glock 23 was my first gun about 5 years ago and I'll never get rid of it. I still carry it 95% of the time.
  7. Is this for anyone or only LEO?
  8. Cool, hopefully I'll be able to make it for this class. The page shows Defensive Pistol in my browser tab too. Whoever does your web design should be able to change that pretty quick.
  9. Nice, just picked one up from Guns & Leather today myself. It already has the barrel threaded from the factory and an A1 flash hider installed. Soon I'll put a Vortex Strikefire red dot on it. Gonna take it out this weekend I hope and see how it does.
  10. I want a 340PD, not sure I ever want to shoot it though! I like my Springer Mil-spec 1911 too.
  11. If he had just worn Mossy Oak he would have blended right in with everyone else.
  12. The Vortex Strikefire gets good reviews. I'd rather have an Aimpoint in the event of TEOTWAWKI or SHTF but the Strikefire should be fine for range use. I love my ACOG by the way.
  13. At that price they can take their ACR and shove it up their butt, see if it fits.
  14. I've got that and the second set as well. I will probably own the handgun DVD soon. I haven't watched the second one yet, I need to get around to that one day.
  15. At the $1500 price point I will definitely buy one. I'm not sure I'd push it to $2000.
  16. That was on the main page. David, I was only jerking his chain. Lighten up. Now that I can get to the site, it looks really good. I like how you did the videos.
  17. The charging handle doesn't smash your thumb while you're shooting it. Metalhead: when are y'all getting these in?
  18. Web design fail.
  19. .
  20. That's good news. I hope y'all don't get sued.
  21. Damn, you went from drinking the Kool-Aide to swimming in it!
  22. Which part of Nashville? I usually go to the TWRA range in Montgomery County. There's another one in Antioch/Mt Juliet if you're over that way. Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - Firing Ranges There's also CHMR, formerly known as Owl Hollow. I've never been there but there are a few TGOers that use that one. CHMR
  23. Mix it up a bit, Walmart walk with the Sig.
