Well Ruger has officially ceased production and removed from product listing the SR556 and SR762. The Piston guns are no more. I thought they were great guns, but the proprietary piston/handguard was a killer for them, I think.

Like I said before, drivers won't see a bike regardless. You could be riding one of these and they won't see you. -
Yes. But it needs to be permanently attached.

Not sure I understand. My ammo won't fit in my safe either.
-
General school of thought is to not store ammo in with the guns. I've never heard a good reason but I like it. So just move the ammo somewhere else, kitchen pantry perhaps, and have extra room for guns.

TN has a handgun carry permit. It allows you to carry a handgun. The state has no requirements as to how you carry it.

I don't think she looks bad.

No. I literally thought you were telling me that there was a disassembly procedure that didn't involve pulling the trigger. But that wasn't the case. I was genuinely curious. But then I was let down by your lack of ability to produce an actual procedure in which my 17 could be drawn from the holster and disassembled without pulling the trigger. I said the thing about being right to try to be funny. I failed in at my attempt at levity.

gotcha. I never thought it made much of a difference. People definitely don't seem to notice me on my bike as it is. But I'll cede defeat on this and say that maybe the answer is to make auto lights come on with more light than they currently do. -
So you still have to pull the trigger. Okay. Well I'm right then. That's all I was really worried about.

Couldn't tell you exactly. I only use soda in mine because I use it for aluminum silencer cleaning. This is from the description. Hopper takes most abrasives: steel grit, glass beads, pecan shells and more -
Sorry. I left out a couple of things. The stream is going to be about fitting guards. Look at this fit on this!

Just saw a note that Jim Crowell is going to be live-streaming on instagram tonight, tomorrow and Thursday nights at 7 pm. https://www.instagram.com/crowellknives/?hl=en If you don't make it in time for the livestream, he is still a great maker and you should check out his work.

I bought one of those and it sucked. Just didn't seem to feed well. I bought this one instead and it works pretty decently. https://www.harborfreight.com/portable-abrasive-blaster-kit-37025.html -

Care to expand on this? I don't see how it defeats the purpose of anything. -
You are going to have to elaborate even more. Because I have to pull the trigger on my 17 to get the slide to actually move off the frame. You can pull down on the takedown lever and get the slide to move a little. But until the striker is no longer under compression, it will not come off of the frame.

You nailed it. I've been guilty of it a time or to. They make auto headlights, I've not yet figured out why they can't just make them automatically on when the car is. It doesn't hurt anything to run them all the time. I used to do that before I bought cars with auto switches. And the auto switches still don't work well enough when its raining. -
Go on...

I think this is a great story. Instead of continuing to tax the population, they have teamed up with local shop owners to help the public.

As if I needed another pistol...ahem...PDW...dang CZ
Capbyrd replied to Magiccarpetrides's topic in Handguns
Its not marketing. Its kind of the opposite. CZ saw what their customers were doing on their own and just said, we can offer that out of the box. -
But we also preach dry fire practice. Each of the four rules has an exception. That's why there are four. If you break any one of the rules, at worst, its an ND. Bad stuff doesn't happen until you break two or more simultaneously. Maybe we aren't doing a good enough job of teaching that aspect to people.

I believe that to be pretty accurate.
