So ive been thinking about that a lot. There are two ways that I can see this functioning. Pull the trigger, it’s a short pull like a bolt action and the round goes off. Continue pulling and it ejects and loads the next round. I think they could make a good case that is semi automatic. pulling the trigger cycles the bolt and loads the round and then releases the firing pin. I think this is closer to a double action revolver and they would have a hard time classifying it as semi auto without also reclassifying da revolvers.

One of Franklin Armory's offerings at SHOT Show this year will be this thing. https://www.recoilweb.com/franklin-armory-announces-the-providence-145108.html?fbclid=IwAR3vB28LQzxZAjipSLo2qkQzVU9eO0ytx-4JLvpCsLZuU6Fm8lp2F8JOlcE Check out the link. I'm not sure what to make of it, but at least its not as dumb as a barrel with straight rifling.

Thats awesome. I'll sight it in for you.

You said it was an accident. Beebee said it was negligence and you agreed. Which is it? I'm of the opinion that there is no such thing as an accident. Only negligence.

This was kind of leaked a couple of months ago but now its official as its on their site. https://www.magpul.com/firearms-accessories/magpul-scorpion-series They are releasing a 35 round mag for 20 bucks, a grip for 25 and a mag release paddle for 25. I'll probably buy all three once they are available.

Take the uniform off of the guy. Now how do you feel about it? Just an average Joe walking through his house with his gun in his hand and he shoots his wife or kid in the back. Do your feelings change? Cause mine don't. The only standard I'm holding him to are the four rules of gun safety.

I find this to be a fascinating research project. I understand that the results could potentially be used by the other side but this research could also lead to an increase in development of recoil mitigation devices. I look forward to seeing what comes out of this. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2019/01/09/firearm-recoil-traumatic-brain-injury/

I have no problem with HP. I have owned a C9, twice. Given the opportunity, I'd throw another in the safe. I'm interested to see what they come out with.

Yeah I removed the mag disconnect immediately. Its never been shot with it installed.

Sales tanked because they brought out the Security 9 at a lower price. And I've never understood the complaint about the LCI. I never notice it when shooting.

This sums up my feelings exactly.

Sorry if anyone took this as cop bashing or about cops in any way. The story really has nothing to do with him being a cop. The only reason that is even relevant is that he was at work when this occurred. Imagine if this was a husband wife pair that were clearing their house after they heard a noise. Imagine how the conversation would be different. Nothing I said would change. Do y’all remember when Tex shot himself and we talked about that video. Well this is the Same thing.

Oh, no. That's the new normal for all companies.

Looking through the list, it seems to hold across the board.

I can't walk in my front yard without sinking because of the chipmunks.

Its weird how many of y'all have boating accidents. Have y'all considered not taking your guns with you? I can't lose my stuff in boating accidents because I don't boat but more importantly, because if I did lose it and didn't notify the ATF, I'd get in trouble.

He had already cleared the house. Whoever they were looking for wasn't there and he knew that. When he went back into the living room there was no need for his gun to be drawn. But I'm not going to second guess all of that crap. The bottom line is that regardless of your job title, there are four rules of gun safety. If you don't follow them, NEGLIGENCE happens. Not accidents. There is no such thing as an accidental discharge, only negligent discharges. This can't even be chalked up to mechanical failure. Its negligence. Plain and simple.

I think they are asking about trigger locks or safes.

What is this for? Is it a mandatory survey? Is it optional?

What do y'all think the chances are that those three counties will be under similar restrictions next year?
