  1. If this was the compact or sub-compact I'd have purchased one as soon as they went on sale months ago. If you have small hands like I do, and even a G21sf feels a tad too big. Then this would be perfect. However if you just want a Glock at this price. Find a place with a bunch of Police Trade Ins, and very politely ask if they'll let you take thebpick of the litter. They may just have one in the glass case but a stack in the safe. Scouring the internets for a case of ammo may effect your decision. There may be great deals on ammo out there...

    My new Glock 32

Sounds like a plan! Although I may have traded away my G23 by then. My nines aren't going anywhere. At the least I'll bring a 23 barrel. Or drag along one of my G23 owning buddies. If not tomorrow then another time definitely. I put the 357 rounds inside my console so I won't forget them in a last second dash to the range.

    Kel-Tec PMR30 vid

A poor man's FN? Don't know much about the ballistics of 22"Magnum", but if this pistol actually functions, it will be a another top-seller for Kel-Tec. Actually considering their rep for customer service, i can't wait to see what happens.... Only thing that could kill this pistol is some sort of hi-cap mag ban. Anyone have any info on 22mag ballistics tests? Thanks for the heads up!

    My new Glock 32

Well maybe we can find out tomorrow. Won't be completely controlled experiment, but I'll put my G19 slide on my G23 frame and we'll swap the 357sig recoil spring assembly in if that's cool with you. Too bad we don't have and Buffaloe Bore/Double Tap 357 sig ammo. Resisted the urge to put money down on the 33, ammo sticker shock. But a 357 barrel is in my future. Just in case the zombies are wearing Kevlar Helmets...
  5. I agree. Well done on all accounts. I've got to get an actual computer instead of my Iphone. Completely missed the skeleton hand. COOL!!

    My new Glock 32

Went by GT today. No 12 round mags on hand but they ordered one for me. Was too overwhelmed to have the presence of mind to check out 357sig ammo. By the time I swung by Wally World (FO) I picked up the last box of 357sig. WHOAH!!!! Did I buy just 50 FMJ??? Can't wait to shoot them though. We'll compare em to some 124gr +P+ 9mm through a G19, just for the sake of science.

    My new Glock 32

Definitely looking forward to shooting the 357. Thanks for the offer. My schedule is CRAZY tight, but I'll PM you the next time it looks like I'll have some time. Just picked up a G26 from layaway. There was an OD green G33 just sitting there all lonely in the case...
  8. A high school chums father had a Volunteer Arms Thompson look-alike. Was made in Knoxville. Ammo was cheap, his dad's, and we had several fun filled afternoons destroying phone books and soda cans. I plan on blowing a huge chunk of my future lottery winnings on a NFA model. Shooting phone books, off the hip, as fast as we could pull the trigger at 15 yards, was AWESOME!!!

    My new Glock 32

I have a gen2 G19 and a gen3 G23. Slides and mags interchange flawlessly. Although I've never tried putting 40s in a 9mm magazine. Will be getting a 357 sig barrel for my 23 eventually just for fun. Can't decide if I'll get a factory Glock, or maybe an extended threaded ported compensated aftermarket version. Never shot a 357 sig. How does it compare to 9 or 40? Congrats:)

    G22 conversion to G17

Don't know about G22s. But every G19&G23 I've ever shot shoot low using factory sights. I always put the white dot where it intersects the plane between the top of the "U" on plastic sights. On night sights I put the frontsight even with the plane between the two rear dots. The left is all you though. I'm no expert( at anything) but IMO staging a Glock trigger is bad practice. Immediately stop shooting any other weapons and devote yourself to dryfiring your Glock. A few thousand trigger pulls should help!
  11. I'll sometimes jog after work in my uniform shorts. 100% Polyester. 1.5 inch leather belt. 4 pockets. I'll wear my Iphone in a horizontal carrier on my left side and a can of dog spray with a belt clip on my right. Almost as comfortable as soccer shorts. I played soccer and wiffle ball in the yard with kiddies this weekend in soccer shorts tied tight and a Kel-Tec P32 pocket clipped IWB. Forgot it was there. I'd think with an untucked soccer jersey you could carry OWB and still be "concealed". Easily done in polyester uniform shorts with a belt. Of course I'm a 6ft 165 lb man with narrow hips, broad shoulders, and an ample supply of polyester uniform shorts.
  12. Is there a 3 gun shooting sport dedicated to Zombie Eradication?
  13. I just bookmarked that site. Thanks for the hookup. To the original OP. GT Distributor's isn't cheaper than the internets. But I've found the more you spend there, the less "stingy" they become... And I hate ordering stuff online. BUT I will be ordering some Rangers very soon.
  14. I purchased an AR virgin lower in Georgia and had to transfer it to Tennessee like a pistol. To be honest I had already paid for it and was windowshopping some holsters in the store, when the store received the word that it had to be handled like a pistol. That was news to both the store and myself as we had treated it like a rifle. BUT it could be built as a pistol so it had to be transferred. It ended up as a rifle, But I could have built it into a pistol. Would've been cheaper to buy an assembled lower, but the store "is good people" so I didn't mind. I was informed that the second I put a stock on it, it would forever be a rifle. They didn't mention permanently attaching the buffer tube. Does it have to be permanently attached only if you use a standard "rifle" buffer tube capable of accepting a stock, or can you just permanently modify the "rifle" buffer tube so that it can't accept a stock, or does EVEN a "pistol" buffer tube still have to be attached???
  15. I'm waiting for the belt-fed model myself. With the right ammo, and an expert on the trigger, an AA12 could be unstoppable.
  16. No but I'm curious. Would you mind fully loading one for a couple weeks and reporting back how it does? My KCI Glock mag springs got considerably weaker after a few weeks fully loaded, however they still function fine. Just curious... FWIW I'm gonna fully load a KCI G19 mag. (just did). And leave it that way for a year along with a 14 year old G19 2nd Gen G19 mag(just did). Hopefully by then I will take up some initiative and be able to post pics. $6.99 a pop, not American made but at least they're our allies.
  17. I acquired a 32ACP because I hadn't seen any 380 ammo for less than twice retail. Of course a month later I ran into it everywhere o line and even saw 12 boxes sitting at Sportsmans Warehouse $20/50. BUT I can still buy 32ACP almost any Wally World, haven't seen 380 at one yet. If you're worried, buy the ammo you think you'll need beforehand. If you order it, it will come...
  18. If you seperate the slide from the frame, and look at the piece of alloy the barrel lugs make contact with you might see wear marks on the top. That may have been the sqeaking, the alloy being slowly worn down. That happened with my toddler G23. No wear at all on my ancient G19. Also when you reassemble the slide onto the frame. It is completely normal to hear clicks. That your Glock saying LET'S ROCK! Also, maybe a fellow TGO'er could send you an old fullsize recoil spring, and you could see if that changes anything.... --- Ooops, being the know it all that I am, I will state that since there are no pics of this "alleged" gen4 G17, it doesn't exist... Therefore my attempt to foil your ruse failed. Well played sir;)
  19. $329 OTD. Maybe they have a boatload of Police Trade-Ins. They may have a stack in the safe and let you handpick which pistol and maybe even magazines. A local pawn shop let me go through a small stack of G26 Police Trade-Ins. I'm paying almost 100 bucks more than you for a gen 2.5. I'd disassemble and thoroughly inspect the pistol looking for any cracks or signs of abuse. Also you can order supplies from Brownell's to perform a do-it- yourself grip reduction like Robar does.
  20. I was cruising around the Robar website earlier looking at the very cool (and expensive) options they offer for Glocks. One is to fill in that cutout for removing a stuck magazine that seems to be annoying you. So I started looking around Brownells and found an article by Eric Kiesler in the Guntech/ handgun work/ glock grip reduction and customization. It looks like you could fill in the gap yourself. I would've posted a link but couldn't get it to work on my phone. I'm thinking about attempting my own RTF but will need to research this alot more.

    Glock 23 rtf2

I'm extremely jealous. Can't wait to obtain a RTF G19. Congrats
  22. I'd recommend buying a new Drop-Free mag before adding a grip enhancer. The newer mags hang just a little lower in my second gen G19. In fact I have to squeeeze them into a 3rd gen. Or maybe try the 17 rounders with a grip plug on them. A Hogue slip on finger groove grip may also help. The only accessories I have are lots of mags, a few holsters and some night sights. Congrats on your G19!
  23. I'm no expert.... BUT.... 16 rounds of "full power" 10mm in a Glock20SF is a about the perfect ratio of cost/performance. Sweet buy, and we want pictures of full power loads at dusk/dawn please.
  24. Just left sportsmans warehouse on lee hwy. They had Winchester 95gr fmj 19.99 a box. 11 boxes. Hope you hurry before they're gone. Good luck!
