Crimson Trace makes some compact grips (two finger) that cover the backstrap, I have the 3finger grips and love them on my 340PD. The S&W logo 2finger hogues are good for one shot of 357 Magnum. However, when I fired 5 rapid magnum shots without shifting my grip, I reopened my now usual wound on my right thumb. With the Crimson Traces installed I am bloodfree, unless my hands become very sweaty... Can't have small, lightweight, and powerful and not give up something. BUT some affordable compact grips that cover the backstrap would be nice for "small-pocket" days...

Nice shootin, and pistol!!

I've only put about 120 rounds through my lightweight Jframe so I'm no expert.... But I suspect that slightly different positioning of the thumb effects how much the barrel moves before the bullet leaves the barrel. You could also try dryfiring and see which way the barrel moves. Been trying that with my laser turned on. Slow and deliberate pretty steady. When I pull quickly through it moves up and right, then back to original position as soon as the hammer(internal) starts to fall.

Love my converted Saiga 223s. But I've never shot an AK I didn't like:)

That's why a 45GAP taunts me..... But seriously, when I owned only one pistol, a G19, I could outshoot all of my buddies. Now that I have a plethora, , my Glock wants to shoot left all the dang time. Maybe it's jealous..... But I suspect that I've screwed up my "muscle memory".

Another vote for the S&W 340 PD. With the Crimson Trace grips installed, 5 rounds of 357 Mag in your pocket. However I wouldn't feel inadequate with any J-frame. I also believe that Ruger is coming out with their own lightweight 357. One of my colleauges occasionally pocket carries a lemon-squeezer 32S&W. (not recommended )

Unless the scratch goes all the way into the trigger guard, just consider it proof that you actually disassemble your pistol for cleaning. I have known 3 grown men, blue collar guys like myself, that I've had to show how to disassemble their semi autos. Everyone has to learn but each of these guys pistols were "nasty" dirty inside and pristine outside. That darn slide stop requires finesse, don't feel bad at all.

For all my high capacity wonder pistols, I'm sitting here with a 5 shot snubby in my pocket. Congrats on your purchase.

Having recently acquired a S&W 340PD, I whole heartedly recommend any grip that provides some rubber cushion, especially at the top near the web of your hand. I have the 3 fingered Crimson Trace grips and shot full power 357 one handed-weak hand and hit the 6inch shootNc every time. The extra material at the top kept it from "twisting" like other J-frames have on me. I'm sure the pinky helped too with a little more leverage. They also extend the trigger reach. I thought I'd broken some fingers the first time I shot a friends "old school" 38 with 158gr +Ps and minimal slick wood grips.

I REALLY had to push that sucker in and turn it. Probably half of my force concentrated on pushing and the other half on turning. When I get home I believe I might have a chamber brush in my box of odds and ends, if so I'll PM you and gladly PIF. They're not expensive, but only place I could find one locally was at the Army Surplus store. Also the threads are different and it'll only work on a GI rod.

Just curious if you use a chamber brush when cleaning the lugs. A friend told me to drip CLP all over the brush and then forcefully turn it seven rotations. Although I was hesitant as it seemed like a bad idea scouring my AR, all malfunctions ceased after I started doing this before and after every session. At around 200 rounds was when I started having issues. Unfortunately I would spend more time cleaning my AR than shooting it so I traded it off for a couple of AK's...

After much debate, I'd sell em all for the right price... But wouldn't own less than 2 Glock 9mms at any time.

I too once wanted a 9mm snubby... But unless this is a super good deal, I'd take the advice of the other posters.

That is one mean looking setup. AND you're going to have a suppresor for it? Enjoy it, my hat is off to you, sir!

What kind of 38 do you have? You could probably find a similar size revolver in 22LR. Would make a great trainer piece. Maybe not as accurate, but the ones I've shot were plenty accurate for me.

I read in another thread that a Mossberg Maverick trigger group can be swapped into a 500 creating a 2 safety shotgun. The .410 I first hunted quail with had a safety on "top" so that seems normal for me. My Daisy Pump air rifle had a trigger safety. I can use both but would prefer a Glock pistol style trigger guard, pistol grip, and no traditional safety if it were up to me.

I bet I can shoot 5 of your rounds, in your gun, into one of your targets at 25 yards. If not I'll gladly pay you one dollar. I've never done that before at 25 yards, but heck, maybe I'll get lucky... Lemme know when you have a serious offer and I'll bring my arsenal and a fistful of dollars.

Wow! Great picture. I can barely see my Saiga stock sights. Those look awesome, I likey.

Answer is simple. Coat your balls in Vaseline. Load Hollowpoints in magazine. Shoot jugs. Coat his balls in superglue. Leave car running. RUN!!!!

If nothing else, nevermind I want one too!

Sig P220, it's a classic for a reason. Enjoy it!

Glock 40s have had several upgrades/ changes to the gun and magazines. Maybe an armorer can chime in... Having said that, I've never known anyone personally to have a problem with any Glock that wasn't bubba'd.

Springfield Mil-Spec works for me. But currently I'd want something with a dovetailed front sight, because night sights are a must at 3AM. Just my 2 cents.
