Both are a pain to make, so when I do make them I make as many as I can to freeze and keep on hand. The lumpia takes the correct wrappers to make them properly, as I was taught by my buddies Filipina wife, to make. I get them in Chattanooga. The mandu on the other hand I make the wrappers and the stuffing. So that turns into a very long day in the kitchen.

My "I cant stop eating" items are mandu (Korean stuffed dumplings) and lumpia (Filipino version of an egg roll). When ever I make either I am miserable that evening.

Good one and yes I am stealing it. :)

As always, that is a great looking knife and awesome work. -
Nailed it! I have been walking the streets in the Philippines and got some hearts and gizzards on a stick. Tastes great till they slip a liver in. I go back to the same vendor and get another stick on his peso. LOL

Does the Blue water Sailor really have to break it down Barney style for you? ;)

I make loud bang noises with the money the wife earns. Does that count? Actually I do try to repurpose as much as possible. I am a stay at home dad and volunteer at my sons school. I retired from the Navy as an Aviation Machinist Mate as such I have turned a wrench or two. I tend to get sucked into jobs at school. A while back I was asked to assemble one of those plastic storage bins for the gym teacher. Its a stand up deal. I repurposed a automatic garage door rail into a hanging rod for the said storage building. Well last year some jackarses broke into it and stole gym equipment. (It sort of makes me hate people to think about it) Anyway I am now in the process of repairing said storage bin but this time I have some stainless steel rods from an old crib that I am going to use as hinge pins so the doors cant be pulled off. I also have to fabricate some metal door handles to replace the plastic junk that came with it.

The problem I have is not dealing with racism or anything like that. I always though you were Green. :) (Said the squid)

No truer words have ever been spoken. LOL

I rarely get to that neck of the woods and I am even more rarely pulled over. However if that were to happen I would so drop the name of the beautiful Ms Lilly Mae. :)

The look on your dads face has me rolling!

Toss up a picture of the granddaughter so we can congratulate the Officer on the job, and tell her how pretty her daughter is. :) I may or may not toss you under the bus John. ;)

I am thinking that missing handgun is because of that girl Carl was following and who ever she is meeting out there. I get the impression that that town is in need of muscle to protect itself from something other than walkers. And that girl Carl followed will turn out to be a plant.

I fully expected Glenn to stomp that asshats head into the pavement. I also noticed that Maggie was smiling proud after that. LOL

Hate? Not hardly, I lived like that in Hawaii for a few years and I still don't miss it. :)

Grand Torino nailed it. Sadly they are in for a very rude awakening. They will then cry for British Government to come save them from the mess they got themselves into.

Never heard of it. Anyone have another source of info on this?

Well now, that makes me feel better about the stupid and crazy drivers in my area.....

Thanks for posting this. I will most definitely read it. :)

You are a better man than I. Take away my coffee and I turn into a blubbering blob of whiny mess on the floor. LOL

Bradley Cannon (Local Author) Book Published!
buck1032 replied to GlockSpock's topic in General Chat
I finally finished the book today, due to no fault of the book. I am a stay at home dad and school volunteer. My usual time that I read is cut down due to my trying to be a coupon cutting fool. :) Anyway, I found the book rather entertaining and it kept me engaged. When I wasn't reading it (usually 30 minutes a day was all I could squeeze in) I would think about it and where it would take me next. Something that I enjoy about reading. Over all I would give the book four stars (out of five). -
The wife and I both enjoy The Peddler in Gatlinburg. Its been years since we have ate there so I can not attest to the quality these days.

I have a Browning Safari Grade in 375 H&H mag that I am not that big fan of shooting. I would HATE to shoot a 375 handgun. :stunned:

Madison Rising's The Star Spangled Banner. I normally hate butchered versions of our Nations Anthem. This one, however gives me goose bumps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8C7i9kdEf8&feature=youtu.be
