I'm sorry; Giving someone so much for every child they have while on welfare seems like us taxpayers are paying them for them reproducing. If you cannot afford a child, please do not have one. Maybe instead of giving out EBT cards we should be giving out vacectomies and having some tubes tied. Maybe instead of promoting reproduction by those that think"they are owed something", some form of contreception instead is given. I know you all have seen the vid of the woman who has (15 kids) by the same guy, and even though she recieves help, she still says it isn't enough. Having 15 kids( a small army) does not entitle you or anyone who is too lazy to get off their asses, something for nothing. I'm all for helping people who need it but welfare should be a temporary solution, not a crutch. Many of the people I work with are HCP owners, though most of them are still in the dark on the dealings by the corporate giant. There are a few who know what is going on. But either work for Wal-mart or try to find a steady job this time of the year, I guess they and I have made our choices.

Walk out my front porch and i see three deer ( a couple does and a fawn). Able to get within 30 yards of them and they aren't spooked. But i live in the city, so no hunting is allowed anyways. Now if SHTF, I'll have some meat.

There was an incident a couple weeks ago here in Tullahoma where a resident shot and killed one 17 year old kid and wounded a 38 year old man. The 73 year old resident said he was in fear for his life. Both of the victims were outside the house, but there was a broken window with glass inside the residence. So far the resident has not been charged pending investigation.

Was in wal-mart today( day off), and they have a one person 3 day survival pack out now for about $35. Which is an ok deal, just i have most of the stuff that comes with their kits already. Just though you all should know. My Medical kit could probably be bigger, but i have several small to medium kits which could be combined into one larger kit if needed. I figure having several scattered around when i need them is better than having one and not being able to find it.

From my understanding, even if you are on your property, you do not have to have a gun carry permit to keep a firearm to defend yourself with. The HCP only applies if you travel off your property. Meaning it protects you the permit holder from any criminalization of "intent to go armed". On your property, you are covered with or without a HCP, off property you are covered by having a HCP.

Still haven't deciced on what to build. Ordered the lower and an upper last night. (I can now afford it). Will take me a while to get it finished. Thinking I may go with a longer distance competition-type rifle. Or at least to get the zombies before they have a chance to hear where the bullets come from. lol

Well, he is full of air. A lot of hot air that is. Spews a lot of hot air.

I'm in. Just need to post a pic of my "MTB scurge" K2. Haven't rode in a while off-road. As hunting season ( and spiderwebs) are upon us, I have been riding something a bit faster on the trails. Stay off singletrack though. No road bike K2 Animal Freestyle bike. 27 speed though. Aluminum frame. Bright yellow and black.

Now If I'm not driving, yet riding as a passenger am I Obligated to show the officer who pulls my driver over, My HCP and DL, even if I'm not driving. Wouldn't be drinking, cause if that was the case, My Firearm would be away from me.

Well, I can still wear mine. It's a little loose though ( guess I've lost some weight). Gonna have to get a smaller size one day. I actually wore mine thursday while out riding. Under my long sleeved riding shirt. Yeah, even going 20+ mph thru the woods it got a little toasty. Had to take it off and wear my thigh holster. ( Yep, Open carried. And what do ya know, not a soul cared).

I work at walmart, See stupid stuff all the time. When I worked at lowe's, Saw the same stuff going on as Lowbuster did, only at my store. And since i ride atvs, I have come across some "really not thinking at the time" people. A lot off accidents that could have been avoided if they had: 1) worn a helmet, 2) slowed down, 3) not been drinking, 4) used some common sense. One friend of mine was loading his atv into the back of his (brand new dodge ram), Loaded it but forgot to put a stop between his front bumper and the back glass of his truck. Shattered the glass. Costly mistake but least he had insurance.

Went riding today at Westpoint( i have a yearly there) Spider webs out the door on this one. Luckily I had my Briar-busters on the atv.( looks like plastic antennas). But good day, no hunters to contend with and trails were like I left them. Almost wish the place was closer.

Glad no major injury. I wear full-cover sunglasses when I mow, weedeat and about any outdoor activity. After having glassesfor 10 years of my life and then getting Lasik for the past 15 years of my life. I don't want to do anything to make me lose an eye. On another note, Got about skewered thru the arm while atving with my friend( SALK) A year ago. He avoided the branch, i thought I did, but it punctured the skin without puncturing my long sleeve shirt. No idea on that one. So yes, protective equipment when operating any outdoor equipment or Off-roading vehicles is highly recommended.

What do we do if we have registered at CMT tactical site and followed all directions? What's next if we haven't had a reply from the moderator here? Do we need to contact CMT directly and tell them we are part of TGO and pay for our Lowers/uppers? I Know someone is busy, but haven't heard another word on this.

Now with Halloween upon us, there ought to not be a shortage of sweets. Though i hardly see Peanutbutter twix either. They used to have a cookies and cream twix which was pretty good but i think they stopped making it. Saw and tried the new Starburst candy corn. A little too sweet for me but it was different. I'm liking the candy corn flavored M&M's though. (WHite chocolate). And never canget enough Baby ruth's. Like a snickers but oh so much better.

Bit by bit. Piece by piece. Little here little there. If i'm in a store and they have it for reasonable prices, I'll buy my limit and then go. No sense in coming back the next day to buy again cause it'll be gone. Now I have close to 2500 rounds of .22. More than I'll probably ever need but if i buy any more it is for family and friends who can't catch a break on finding ammo.

Lmao. Sorry about you and your friend getting burnt. But that was funny. Stupid at the time yes,but i bet you look back on it and chuckle. It's probably being taught as "what not to do".

What size Pelican case is that? ( model #). Like the set-up wondering if there is a way to install the roof rack like you have in my durango without having to drill into the steel.

And I thought my old co-worker from Lowe's was bad. Sliced off part of his thumb on a tablesaw, cut part of his ear on a router( i don't know how the heck), and seemed he was more accident prone on carpentry skills than most.UntilI read this story.

The only .22 we had yesterday was .22 short. I haven't seen it since before Newtown.

Yep, Just checking. But always a good idea to hand the officer both your permit and your license.

I Learned at an early age( Electricity hurts). Stuck a paperclip in an electric socket when I was 3 ( learned quickly not to ever mess with plugged in sockets). Fast forward a few years, My brother learned the hard way to never stand behind someone while they are at Bat( baseball). Never ride a skateboard down a newly fresh paved hill ( you can't see the asphalt pebbles). Yeah, Plenty of scars even from my mountianbiking adventures. Like never try to pop a wheelie right as you are coming off a drop at the end of a bridge( Tims Ford State park). I flew over my handlebars and have a scar on my chin to remind me of it. And last time, When parked on a slight incline, always remove the chains from your trailer before adjusting the hitch to your vehicle. ( I was trying to get my utility trailer hooked up to my reciever hitch and forgot about gravity). Sucks, I spent seven hours in the ER in Fayetteville waiting just to know I broke my left middle finger. Being left handed, it sucked cause i had to write with that one.

Your permit and license are not connected to the tags on your vehicles. You could be driving your cousin's vehicle and the officer wouldnt know if you had a permit to carry or not. The officer won't know if you have a permit unless you show it to him. ( unless there is some new way they can look it up on the DL records).
