  1. i agree, the pivot pin detent is a PITA. PIC OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN
  2. I have 2 choate 6 round caddies, a home made kydex caddy that will hold 4 and 2 AR mag holders that will hold 3ea for a total of 22. The choates are not the most comfy but they are affordable. My first 2 matches i used a walmart belt shell carrier bag. It was just big enough to hold a box of shells. I would tear the top off and stick then entire box shells in it. I still use is as a spare. Similar to this:
  3. Yep. Wolf, Fiocci and Federal all have very accurate low recoil slugs.
  4. Midwest Indsutries and YHM have nice ones. I have a YHM. It is rock solid. 5. I have seen J&T there before. Will they be there this year? Gun in the building? I dont see why permit holders should not be able to. As long as they are not waving it around. MS is a conceal state, right? so, they shouldn't be visible anyways. It seem s a bit silly to have a gun event, but don't allow legal carry. Although, i do understand your conern. This comes down to the same arguement that it always does. There are already laws out there that protect the public. Extra gun rules and laws dont stop the criminal. It wont stop me from attending your show.

    Truck Gun

HCP holders can have a rifle with a loaded mag in the rifle, but there can not be a round in the chamber.
  7. Built it last saturday. Sabre lower Palmetto State Armory parts kit Timney Trigger Bravo Upper receiver DPMS MK12 barrel, 18" 1:8 twist CMT M16 BCG Midwest Industries forend Miculek brake Spikes ST-2 buffer Weaver Classic 1-3x
  8. One of the dumbest things i ever did was sell my GP100. Nice wheel gun.
  9. That is ugly. I would take a beretta anytime over that mess. I agree about the mags. Why can't someone make a sub carbine that takes common double stack mags. The Keltec is a fun little gun, but the mag situation screws it up. I would rather spend money on a mechtech before i would spend $700 on that.
  10. I have an Eotech XPS2-0 with a PA 3x magnifier mounted on a PA flip over mount. It is a very nice set up. I use it for 3-gun. I bought the Eotech from PA as well. Marshal is a stand up guy. Fast shipping, great customer service. I have bought slings, mounts, glass, etc. PA has a lot of my money. I am building a new upper. I will probably buy a 1-4x (when i figure which one) and mounts from PA.
  11. Just make sure you have a FFL lined up to take care of the transfer. Check with your FFL for fees.
  12. i'll be there. I have serious BRD. I am building a 3gun AR. I have the upper parts. I am now jonesing for a lower. Maybe the gun show can fix me up.
  13. yes, they did swapped them. I shoot at both events. Steel Challenge is the 1st saturday 3 gun is the 3rd saturday. the yearly calender post from the MSSA site: Memphis Sport Shooting Association You don't have to be a member to shoot at MSSA matches. non-members shoot for $12.
  14. i'll be there. I am looking for parts to build a 3-run AR upper.

    FN SLP?

I like them, but they are to heavy for me.
  16. Looks like fun. I didnt see mention of distances. I have an eotech with a magnifier, but it says no magnifier. Why no magnifiers? or does a magnifier just move me to ESP?
  17. no one in this thread is supporting either sided or taking sides. It was just mentioned that "he who shall not be named" will be there. No one n this thread is talking about any issue from the past. Please don't make this thread a discussion about "he who shall not be named". Lets keep it on topic. This thread is about a meeting place. I like Colton's. What about Buffalo Wild Wings.
  18. I have been carrying my PPS9 for 7 months and have put 1500-2000 rounds thru it. I've had no FTEs or FTFs. ...knock on wood..... Most accruate 3" barrel i have shot. I love this gun. Every thing you said is spot on. The Kahrs are great guns and the keltec PF9 is a very servicable gun, but both are to light for me. The PPS is light, but has enough weight over the muzzle to shoot all day. I have used it in a SD class, shooting 450 rounds. I had no fatigue and the PPS ran flawlessly. With my Comp-Tac MTAC I can wear it all day and no one notices.
