  1. I had to go to two liquor stores last week looking for a specific thing and they both had signs up on the front door saying they would be closed on the 4th. There are a lot of weird liquor laws here in the south.
  2. If you are a Squire you will get a 50ml sample bottle if you go to the Distillery. I got one on Monday while I was down there but I haven't tried it yet.
  3. Great little gun. Have never had a problem with mine.
  4. Tell him to expect the professor or TA to look at him or treat him differently for the rest of the semester. College professors are some of the most libtarded, closed minded people I have ever met. And the more letters they have after their name the worse they seem to be.
  5. Private ranges FTW.
  6. Guys, you are getting totally off topic. Please keep this about the Barrett show if you want to add to this thread.
  7. I thought the show was kinda cheesy. Except for the interview with the Army sniper with the longest kill.
  8. They were at his ranges shooting. And he was interviewed on the show.
  9. As soon as people can't go to Kroger or Wal Mart and get food mass hysteria will begin. If you don't have any food or water put back the grocery store better be your first stop in the event of a large scale natural disaster because once it's gone who knows how long it will take before things get back to normal.
  10. Tony Rumore from Tromix has already SBS'd one. Tromix MKA-1919 Short Barrel Shotgun (pic) - forum.Saiga-12.com
  11. I would be careful about buying a DSA lower. I had one that would out of spec. The mag release hole in the lower wasn't big enough for the "button" to fit in. It wasn't a big deal because my Dad has a machine shop at his house and we just machined the button down where it would fit. I thought maybe this was just a one time thing until I saw another guy who had the same problem and had to use a drimmel on his which looked like crap. I wouldn't use them again but YMMV.
  12. In a story I read earlier in the day it said her mother signed the consent form. But it also said that if her father were to come into the picture and he didn't approve or give consent that the guy could still be charged. The article didn't say, but I am guessing the father isn't a part of her life. I wouldn't allow my 16 year old daughter to marry a 51 year old man, I also wouldn't allow her to dress like a lot of 16 year old girls do now days either. But if her family is cool with it, who am I to say otherwise?
  13. Yea I can get a brand new motor from TA for $74 when I send my broke one in so that is what I am going to do. You guys might want to check out the local high school if you want a place to run your cars. The one here where I live has huge parking lots and they will be empty for the next two months.
  14. I have a Team Associated GT2. I bought it over a year ago and ran maybe half a gallon of fuel through it before it broke a rod. I don't know what happened, I just started it and ran maybe 50 yards before it quit. I put the temp gun on it and it wasn't even hot yet. I got busy with other stuff and never sent the motor in to trade out. I need to get a new motor for it, I really enjoy playing with the nitro stuff.
  15. I know Randy personally, and the thing about his case that was so messed up was that the bottle he sold was never going to be opened. No one in their right mind would pay that kind of money for a bottle to drink. His case ended up getting the law changed where the state issues a collectors license where he can sell the collectable bottles. The last time I asked him about it he was the only person in the state with the license. In the end it cost him major bucks to get his collection back and they still ended up keeping around 20 cases of his JD bottles. He probably has the biggest JD bottle collection in the world, with some of his old bottles being worth $10k+.
  16. +1 Most guys on AFRCOM can't tell their ass from a hole in the ground.
  17. A buddy of mine bought one. He says it works very well, but I haven't seen it in person. A lot of money for a bump fire device IMO.
  18. You will have not problem getting a CLEO sign off in Sumner county. If you live in one of the cities like White House or Hendersonville you get the city police chief to sign off, if you are outside the city limits like I am you will get the county sheriff to sign your forms. If you have any other questions just let me know. I am on the western Sumner/Robertson County border.
  19. I don't see anything in that thread that is different than this one?
  20. Dammit! I am going to be out of town on Monday. I would be there in a second if there was any way I could. God Bless the fallen Marine.
  21. I didn't make it down for the shoot. But from the pictures they posted on their blog the turnout looked pretty small.
  22. I had on a hoodie one time at the range and caught a piece of 5.56 brass in between the hoodie part and my neck. It left a nice scar. Also I caught a piece of .45 brass between my shooting glasses and my face. It only took one time of that for me to learn to wear a ball cap when I am shooting.
  23. He will get a cool $1.3 million over the next 36 months. Nice severance package.
  24. Don't let the door hit you on the way out Mikey. I hope Fulmer keeps playing golf and stays away from the AD job.
  25. If you are taking about a hand stop like this, KAC Handstop KAC Handstop [P/N: 25460] - $59.95 : Welcome to Knights Armament Company, When Your Life is on the Line..., then I wouldn't see a problem. With the Magpul AFG you might be pushing it. I wouldn't put it on there. Here is the ATF letter about vert. foregrips and pistols if anyone wants to see it. Adding a Vertical Fore Grip to a Handgun
