  1. The way it's supposed to work is that no state LEO will enforce the federal law regarding SBRs. They will not notify the feds either. I did say supposed to work. If the atf catches you, you'll be prosecuted. It's no different than the pot laws. It's against federal law to smoke pot in Colorado. The feds just don't prosecute anyone. If they go after anyone in Tennessee for a none registered SBR, they should be forced to arrest everyone it the US that uses pot in the (legal) states or federally legalize pot. They passed a law a few years ago that you could make a machinegun in Tennessee as long as all the parts were made in Tennessee. No one is brave enough for that lawsuit yet.
  2. They will loose track of them anyway. What would stop me from removing the brace from my pistol and installing it on my SBR. Both would be in compliance. I could just put it in the closet.
  3. I'm at 1900 and something. It's how much money I've had to send in to keep from getting the band hammer.
  4. Hope I have a guy that likes Mexican restaurants walking by.
  5. I'm actually venting into a homemade heating apparatus this winter. I do keep a check on the humidity. It gets the house pretty hot though. May give you some time to get an outside vintage put in.

  7. I sometimes feel like I'm the only one that believes crazy freak liberals and extreme right conservatives should both be able to own machineguns so that they may defend themselves. I've had a few tonight, so there may be one other person. LOL
  8. ⁹The biggest problem with 5.56 is the bs about the ammunition. The 7.62x39 has more diameter so in fmj form, it will preform better than the 5.56. If you run modern expanding ammunition, the 5.56 is better. As far as 7.62x39 vs 300 blackout goes.......a 125 gr .308 bullet going 2350 vs a 123 gr.311 bullet goes 2350 is the same thing in my book. The 308 bullets are much better as far as technology is concerned. Stop thinking military. The 5.56 is fantastic if you can shoot. E=(W*V2)/(14000*gc). I can't tell you how many things I've killed with a 5.56, but it's staggering. I've killed things from 10lbs up to 300 lbs and every thing in between. Good ammunition is everything.
  9. Technically we are testing supercapacitors and supercapacitors with batteries as a supplement to the batteries. Two separate tests.
  10. We've been testing supercapacitors. They have been outperforming batteries so far. The longevity is the question now.
  11. I just need to get this bad boy installed.
  12. Suppressors are your neighbors friend.
  13. My last one took 17 days.
  14. That trigger have the good software. LOL
  15. The atf will send you fingerprint cards. You just need to fill out the request on the forms page.
  16. Get on the ATF'S eform page. Start an account. Select form 1. Complete form 1 per instructions. Once complete, print out the cover sheet for your finger print cards. Do your finger prints. Send them in. Get the receiver engraved.
  17. I have some selectable gas blocks. They work, but are very finicky. They are for sub, super, and off. I mostly use an adjustable and set it for the best possible position for both super and sub. I adjusted the loads according. If I don't want something to cycle, I run a standard or sbr bolt gun.
  18. I learned about it with handcuffs on next to a man that tried to kill me. That's the only time I was thinking about the law and how it affected me. No charges filed against me.
  19. Really curious how many times you've had to use lethal force to protect yourself. Is all of this from classes?
  20. That looks good
  21. It runs a rather large complex. If power goes out for any reason.
  22. The generator ran out uf fuel at 10:30 last night. LOL It only had 2000 gal in it when this started. They thought it was full. Back on the NES power grid.
  23. No. It's running now.
