I would rather face a jury with training and a permit than without it. The laws are not different concerning the use of deadly force for trained or untrained, but having the training would show your intent to know and follow the laws on firearm use.

As the laws in different states are continually changing, it'd be good to check the websites and print the current laws for the states you enter.

If he can't pay the fee to obtain a permit, how does he plan to pay bond, legal fees, fine and court costs when he gets caught?

I think the XDM is a nice pistol, but not enough to sell my XD and pay the difference. Unlike my 1911s, the XD holds 13 rounds and I don't worry that it may get worn or scratched. The grip safety gives it an advantage over the glocks. I know I'll always have an available supply of 45 acp ammo, as most of my pistols are chambered for it.

London? NYC? There's too many cameras on patrol cars and intersetions in Memphis at the moment. At anytime, I expect to get a warning from Agore that I'm using too much toilet paper!
