  If you mean property tax then yes..My property taxes are $1,300 for a 1,300 sq ft house. Is that high?   My car insurance dropped when I moved to Florida so I can't agree there. My home insurance is $650 per year. I'm not sure how that compares to TN.    Sales tax here is quite a bit lower than TN but the toll roads suck.   In general I think the cost of living is pretty comparable to TN.

Calm down guys. I was just joking.   There are many reason we are trying desperately to move back to TN. No need for me to mention them as you guys are already aware.

  Yes it got down in the low 30's here two nights in a row. I had to use the heat for the 3rd time since I've lived in this house. Then it bounced right back to 80 and I had to use the air last night. That's "winter" in Florida. 

Keep an eye on this young man. He is destined to do big things.

Coming up on our 4th hurricane season here with zero hurricanes. Keep in mind I live inland, not on the coast.   But yes, Orlando was hit with 3 storms during 2004.  None of which caused any real damage.  Florida is long overdue for a bad hurricane. 

You're right. I'd much rather be in TN. But the beach is nice.

Not that a 3rd comment is needed but I can confirm this isn't true. Unless something has changed since October when I went, you can bring your own ammo. It's a very nice range and a fantastic store.

  I'm impressed with your memory. I can't even recall what I had for dinner the night before on most days. For as long as I've lived in TN I can't ever remember it being in negative temps.

You are not the first person on this forum to witness the exact same scenario. I'm trying to recall who posted about it last time. 

Living in Orlando is similar but not quite that bad. If it were not for a grassy median I would have totaled my car on I-4 today. It was partially my fault and having cheap tires. I locked up all 4 and knew I wasn't going to stop in time. Thank god for my quick reflexes as I took to the muddy grass. That's happened twice since I've been down here. Even if you leave a safe distance someone will just cut in front of you and lock up your brakes. It's insane.

I assume it's legal to shoulder this one since there is no brace? Where did you get that foam pad on the buffer tube?

  I feel the same way which is why I put the Bersa there. It at least has a manual safety so even if something(like my dogs) were to snag the trigger it shouldn't go off. If I had kids I would definitely do something else.    But yes, the Bersa is unholstered.

I took a paint stick, 2 magnets, and black electrical tape and made my own.  It can be done in 10 minutes. I keep a Bersa Thunder mounted under my coffee table that way we always have a pistol nearby when we're on the couch. I put it up when guests come over even though you can't see it.

I don't know much about that particular CZ but I'm a big fan of the CZ brand.    What are you intending to use the CZ or G21 for? Do you just want some range fun? I just shot my Gen4 21 today and it's a sweet gun. It's been 100% reliable too. That being said, it's BIG. Really big. I use it for nightstand duty and it's a beast of a gun.   If you just want something that will be fun at the range I'd go with the CZ. It will probably be more accurate and fun to shoot. If you want a "go to war" .45 then I'd get the G21.    But still, skip the bodyguard. I've never heard anyone say they love theirs.

Get a used G21 and a Ruger LCR. You'll like it way better than the bodyguard

Even if it's a scare tactic the message is true. The police is not responsible for your safety or my safety. I think we can all agree on that.   Personally, I'd much rather have the Sheriff say this than tell us "there is no reason to go out and buy a gun."
