  1. He may have tried to catch a falling gun. It could have also ricocheted like that cop in the elevator video recently.
  2. Been there. Done that. It's humiliating but also an eye opener. In my case it was caused by a lack of understanding for that gun and not an accidental slip of the trigger. Which is probably worse. Be safe and always follow the basic safety rules. Now I'm a Nazi about it.
  3. Why pay twice as much for Blazer?
  4. I have never been able to get the search feature to work like it should. Don't feel too bad. That's an amazing price for 9mm.
  5. I do like bacon but the obsession over it never really made much sense.
  6. Kelly and I just started watching Breaking Bad a few weeks ago. Great show.
  7. Enjoy.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nngBdzmH6VI
  8. The old woman and I just got caught up with the last 2 episodes. I'm impressed. I was pretty bored with the show but they managed to get my attention again.   I wonder why Morgan spent so much time trying to track down Rick? That will be interesting to find out.
  9.   This has made me want to get into other competitive shooting events. What would you recommend I try next?
  10. So yesterday I drove 2 hours south to the tiny town of Okeechobee Florida. This was my 2nd ever GSSF match. I brought my Gen4 17 and Gen4 21 with me.   When I was waiting to register I noticed a table covered in Glock magazines. I asked about them and found out they were selling used Glock mags for $10 each. What a steal. I bought 3 for my 21. Unfortunately they didn't have any for my 17. All 3 functioned flawlessly. These mags came from Glock, not the venue. They did the same thing when I shot at the Orlando match in January.      There are 3 different scenarios. Glock the Plates(watch my video) 5 to Glock and Glock M. Click the link below for an explanation.    I did HORRIBLE at the plates with my 21 though. I was embarrassed to say the least. My best score on the plates was just under 8 seconds which I will gladly take. The best shooters do it in 2 seconds.      Glock gives out a ton of awesome prizes including dozens of free pistols. Most of these are random. During the last match I won a 2 year free membership. At h   Also, each match has a Glock armorer that will inspect your pistol and replace any parts for free.   Anyways, I highly recommend these matches to anyone who has a Glock. I promise you don't have to be good to have fun. I'm marginal at best and I still enjoyed it.   http://www.gssfonline.com/     http://http://i854.photobucket.com/albums/ab105/emathew3/th_VID_20150329_121651656_zpskymzznzk.mp4
  11. But it's not a Glock. If they sold 200,000 G42's in the first year they will easily sell 3x that many G43's. People will buy it just because they want to stick with the Glock platform. I agree with you on the Kahr though.
  12. I wouldn't fire it just because it's a Taurus. I really don't trust them to build a lightweight gun that handles such a powerful load.   I like some Taurus firearms but I wouldn't mess with this.
  13. G30S by far.   I hated the 26.
  14.   Sorry bud. I wasn't trying to offend.
  15. I'm just going to be blunt. Because you have this mounted so low your putting yourself and others in danger. We recently had a state trooper visit us at work to talk about various things. One thing she mentioned is that at highway speeds looking down for 2 seconds means you've traveled the distance of a football field. She showed us pictures of a crash where a young man was texting and rear ended another car killing a woman. Many lives were ruined because he looked down for just a few seconds.   Using a GPS is the same as a phone. My dad was doing the same thing as you and I finally convinced him to move the GPS to the windshield.    They provide a suction cup for a reason.    As I typed this I noticed your previous post which makes me feel better. But for anyone else who is considering mounting this down low, please don't do it unless you plan on having a passenger look at it.
  16.   Uh, I tried to forget about that stuff. My ex GF loved that crap and made my try it once. It was one of the worst things I've ever experienced.
  17. The bar mat shot....
  18. Someone near me has one called "you wish".
  19.   I was impressed as well. Did you go with the Underwood variety or the original?
  20. I may have to pick some of this up. I've been wanting to get something a little more potent in this caliber but didn't want to invest in Gold Dot's knowing they may or may not penetrate as needed.
  21. After seeing the comparison I'm really not that impressed but I will try and reserve judgement until I can actually get one in my hands.
  22. I'm about to turn 27 and I still wouldn't do this. Who knows how long I'll live or where I'll be.
  23. Massad Ayoob on the new Glock 43   http://backwoodshome.com/blogs/MassadAyoob/
  24.   I still have 4-5 that you gave me years ago. I honestly forgot I had any left until I came across them the other day.   I'll be sure to put them to good use. I have several wasps nests around the house. :)
