So I lived in Sarasota FL for 10 months back in 1998. I'd see them every day. In the 3.75 years I've lived outside Orlando I've one seen them a handful of times. Maybe they all moved to TN?

  I'm having mine done so that it's easier to grip. The gen 3 grips are not known to be the most aggressive. My talon grip came off during a pistol class over the weekend so I figured it was a good time.   I agree it may not look great but since it's my main carry gun and I'm likely to have sweaty hands(FL) I need to know I can maintain a good purchase on the weapon.

  I'm sorry but I really wouldn't call the G43 a pocket gun. I agree with the others, I'll stick with the G19.

That looks awesome. I actually just dropped my G19 off at a local shop to have a stipple job done. Can't wait to get it back.

  No offense to Link but I fondled the G43 and really wasn't impressed. I'm sure Glock will sell millions but the G43 doesn't have anything over the shield. 

I held one today and decided I won't be buying one. Not impressed at all.

Good on them for making it right. I still plan on buying some of these as soon as the price comes down a bit.

  That's a very fair price. The gun stores down here are ridiculous. 

One of the local shops near me is charging $580...Keep dreaming.   If i do buy one I'll be using my GSSF coupon.

I've been carrying my 17 under a T-shirt lately. I think I actually prefer it over my 19's.

  You would be a fool not to buy as much of this as you can, while you can.   When I first got into shooting 9mm was around $10 a box. If I ever come across any at $6.94 a box I will invest heavily.   But it cheap and stack it deep. Someday it will be $20 a box and you'll be wishing you had purchased more.

I like my gen 2 19. Sometimes I consider selling it because the gen 4 actually feels better in my hands but the Gen 2's are just a different kind of cool.

I've always liked these. If I wasn't saving for a wedding I'd jump all over this. I don't mind the honest wear.

I'd say it could be worse in some ways. At least he probably won't lose any motor functions or walk with a permanent limp(think knee wound). But yes, he's very lucky to be alive.
