I noticed the same thing. Ammo prices continue to fall.    I've also noticed that Wal-Mart is becoming less and less competitive. They are now noticeably higher than my online favorites. It's amazing because it wasn't that long ago that NO ONE could touch their prices. Now I won't even buy from them.

  What were they doing? To me, the main advantage of Norris is being able to practice drills and do things you can't at other ranges. Hell, the ranges in FL won't even let me do rapid fire. There have been times when I've had the pistol range at Norris to myself and I've gone through drills such as drawing and firing. Nothing too tacticool.    Standing still and shooting at paper targets is not exactly what I would call practice. 

I think the 124+p is prefect. I'd stick with that

I'm having a hard time keeping up in this thread as to which knife is being looked at next. FWIW I really like the little guy with the wood grip.   And I don't care for a tanto blade but I'd consider one if I liked the knife enough.

I'll try to help. I have 4 Glocks and the 23 is my least favorite.    But, don't feel bad about obsessing. I think we all do it. I don't think a day goes by that I'm wondering what/when my next gun purchase will be.

No offense but that Runt just doesn't even come close to the Godfather. I would have to pass on this one.   It sounds like the Godfather will be hard to beat though. 

  Mike nailed it. The R's are not perfect but at least I can sleep at night knowing there won't be another assault weapon ban anytime soon.

If these are going away then stores must have a lot sitting in storage. I'm still seeing colored PMAGS on most websites. 

I pull back on the charging handle. I'm not saying you can't use it as a release, just that it wasn't intended to be one. 

I'm just glad he's been released. He did not deserve what happened to him.

Keep in mind this is actually a slide stop, not a slide release.   It's not designed to release the slide. That should be done by pulling back on the slide. That being said, I've never had an issue using the extended slide stop or even the stock version.

We've had several people attached by bears since I've lived hear the past 3 years. Not long ago a lady was attached in her garage. I heard they are considering doing a hunt this year to reduce the numbers.

Does anyone have Unintended Consequences by John Ross? I want to read it but it's extremely expensive. I'll gladly let someone borrow a few of my books and ship it back when I'm done.
