The only issue with the cheap mags is that they don't have the anti-tilt followers. I've had issues before because of that.   Finding Pmags for $8 is hard to beat. I would encourage everyone to stock up on those. I counted the other day and I have over 30 AR mags. I'd like to hit 50.

Interesting. Unless it has changed, NC requires a permit just to PURCHASE a handgun. OhShoot has always called it the Maryland of the south.   I do know it's gotten better in the last 2 years. They changed a lot of laws for the better.

Wow. That is really tempting. Is there any advantage of the 10.5" over the 7.5"?   I don't see the barrel twist on there. Also, I still don't under stand what it means to free float. Can that hideous quad rail be swapped out for Magpul?

I'm sorry for your loss. I made a small donation to help. It looks like they hit their goal but I'm sure more can't hurt.

  My Glock was long overdue for a recall so I shipped it back to Glock. I'm fairly certain they replaced all the springs. If I were you I would go ahead and replace those old springs. Keep them as spares though. 

I love my gen 2 19. It was made in 1988, the same year I was born. You shouldn't have any problems with it. I plan on having my slide refinished by Robar eventually.
