  1. Just horrible. There is really nothing more I can add at this point.   That poor city was destroyed in 1999 by an F5 with the fastest wind ever recorded on earth, over 300 mph.(source wikipedia).
  2. Both are fantastic firearms. I'd say go with the one you shoot better.   For me, the Glocks are lighter and easier to work on. Also, if we're talking SHTF, it will be much much easier to find spare mags and parts for the Glock.
  3.   Duh! He's already been shot once. This guy is lucky Mac didn't pull out his High Point and bust a cap in him.  :stick:
  4. I'm sending this to a coworker who also keeps a sword for home defense. I took him shooting once and he made the decision that guns are not for him so he got a sword.   I'll stick with my Glock but more power to this guy for beating the bad guys.
  5. I've seen this numerous times at Norris. I'll say this, I'm not a huge fan of range officers because they tend to go over the top, but it does create a safer environment.    The outdoor range I go to in Lakeland always has a range officer on duty. He's not afraid to chew some ass when he needs to.
  6. Good for them. I wonder how many TN sheriffs would ever do the same if it came down to it.
  7.   What makes you think private schools would be immune from this?
  8. I really like that Benchmade Mike. Where did you buy it?
  9. I don't see how they can legally force you to delete your pictures.
  10. I signed up. I have no real use for a SAO Sig but I'll take a free pistol.   thanks!
  11. Good for them. There is no way I could live in NJ or any of the surrounding states for that matter.
  12.   Don't get me wrong, I still equate him to the crusty white film that accumulates in the corner of your mouth. I'm just shocked at his momentary sign of intelligence.
  13. Wow, just WOW.    I had to listen twice just to believe it. Perhaps they invited a pill to help with common sense.   http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/bestoftv/2013/05/17/pmt-penn-jillette-tyrannical-government-irs.cnn.html
  14.   I'm 2 miles from Seaworld but we're buying a house in Clermont. We cannot wait to get out of the rat race.
  15. I honestly couldn't tell if the crowd supported him or not. Regardless, the outcome was disgusting.
  16. Mine made it all the way to Florida yesterday. Thank you!!
  17. http://kontradictions.wordpress.com/2013/04/20/dear-democratic-gun-control-lobby-how-to-get-better/     Very interesting article from the perspective a gun owning Democrat.
  18. I always thought his parents had a twisted sense of humor to name him that.   Sorry to hear about this. I wonder what drove him to do this.
  19. No one has given a valid reason to not change the fluid that I can see.   You may be able to get by without doing it for 200K but I'm not willing to take the chance. Your mileage my vary. ;)
  20. I'm confused here. Changing the oil makes sense to you all but you don't feel it's necessary to change your transmission fluid. Why?  :squint:   It's such an inexpensive job I cannot think of a reason to skip it.
  21.   This almost makes me wish I was friends with liberals on Facebook......almost.
  22. Id like a few!! Im on my phone though so ill pm u tonight.
  23.   I stand corrected. So how was Kwik able to carry here with a Florida permit? I remember that coming up in previous threads.    I do know several states allowed you to carry with non-resident permits so I assumed TN was the same. So what's the point of getting a Florida non-resident permit if you can't carry here?
  24.   The title of the thread says "non-resident FLA permit". As far as I know he's allowed to carry here using that because TN honors non-resident permits. That's how Kwik was able to do so.   I'm not a lawyer so hopefully someone else will come along and confirm this.
  25. Regardless of what permit you have you must honor the rules in the stare you're in. It really doesn't matter what cops think of the law because you are not breaking any by carrying with a Florida CWFL.
